there was a glitch(?) where players could fast forward the game by holding one of the interact buttons (z or enter or maybe space). i took it out. sorry speedrunners.
oh yeah also i think i fixed a quest not showing up, but who cares about that lmao

Planned Improvements
Skeleton nerf: Removal of super armor for Skeleton Warriors when hit, reduction of Skeleton Warriors’ attack hitbox duration, and reduction of overall Skeleton attack power.
When closing the menu with the ESC key, the navigation menu will also close.
Removal of obstructive trees on the ground.
Addition of a tutorial regarding SP depletion while sprinting.
Addition of a tutorial for registering items in the quick slot.

Now, here’s a bit of an update on the development progress for version 2.0, which I’ve been working diligently to bring to life. I’d like to explain why it’s been a while since our last content update:
1.Currently, we haven't received significant new feedback.
2.Since I’m building version 2.0 directly on the 1.0 foundation, rushing updates could lead to unexpected bugs, which is why we’re planning a comprehensive major update rather than incremental releases.
3.Most importantly, our goal is for version 2.0 to deliver a polished, immersive, and exciting experience that meets our high-quality standards.
While I would have loved to release a special Halloween version, limited resources and the fact that I'm currently developing this game alone have led me to focus entirely on making version 2.0 the best it can be.
Here’s an early look at some exciting features you can expect in version 2.0:

Fixed an issue where the player could take damage during Rival intro sequences due to lingering projectiles.
Resolved an issue where only two projectiles fired from the final corpse when using the Murder Missile Mortar schematic.
Fixed a bug where the death camera could go out of bounds when a Sentient dies during the tentacle wall attack.
Fixed an issue where the sludge suit's final upgrade caused bosses to drop level-ups instead of experiments.
Fixed an issue with aggressive start not working correctly in Rival Arenas.
Rot explodes twice now requires at least 1 experiment that can rot.
Fixed an issue where the pause menu doesn't open when using the keyboard in the upgrade screen.
Other
Mouse & Keyboard Controls Improvements: GRP and melee attacks can now be aimed with the mouse. Fixed an issue where turning with the mouse was harder during a charged attack.
The game now displays in Windowed Fullscreen on all handheld devices across all modes
693: Release Version 1.2.22 October 31, 2024 12:01 AM EST • Rok, Rath, Cros, and Phar runes had their bonuses slightly changed for charms only. Instead, they share the armor bonus for those four runes. • Updated both Chinese translations. • The minimum level to receive the King's Reward from hell difficulty was increased from 75 to 80. • There are now special rules for the Lord Szarthax mission in hell. Due to its special reward, you must be at least level 85 to join from the mission counter. This measure was added to prevent spamming the mission with multiple accounts by joining only for the last fight to farm high runes. Spamming the King's Reward is a valid way to enjoy the game, but we needed to make it a bit harder 😉 • Made a minor adjustment to how the mailbox loads the send tab.
