Pals have a 1 in 100 chance to hatch as a shiny! Shiny pals have special colors and sparkle when they show up. Will you be the first to get a shiny version of your favorite pal? Defeat NPCs to collect eggs and hatch them for a chance at a shiny!
Optimization - Optimized memory usage. Players who experienced crashes can try this version. Thank you for your support! <3
Bug Fixes - Fixed an issue where temporary changes to ascension level could cause a mismatch between difficulty and displayed numbers. - Fixed an issue where the card "Revolver" wouldn't fire any shots if it didn't have the [Loaded Ammo] keyword (it will now fire one shot). - Fixed an issue where consecutive shots from the card "Revolver" always dealt the same damage. - Fixed an issue where reloading cards after a temporary modification would still use the pre-modified reload amount.
Misc - Added a confirmation prompt when starting the prologue, asking if you want to abandon the current run (if the game can be continued).
You can now challenge Stage 1-4, and upon completion, you'll unlock new partners and ally units.

I look forward to your feedback to help make a better game.
Another demo update, this time to coincide with the game's presence at this years SXSW Sydney Game's Festival and The Leftfield Collection @ EGX x MCM.
Features include:
Vending machines, which you can use to get bonus health! But they cost 500 balls!? In this economy!?
UI improvements, including the cursor changing colour when equipping different items.
Several million bugfixes, including physics stability improvements.
A couple of really exceedingly rare random events.
Some additional cutscenes (including one that reminds you to see Tokki).
Changed the interact key on controller to be it's own button, so you don't accidentally open doors and talk to NPCs whilst jumping.
A little surprise for when you start a new save file.
A lot of small stuff that I don't really have noted down that was done on a whim... Spot the difference, because I suck at keeping track of changes sometimes!
