What’s all this about? If you check the game’s Steam page, you’ll notice stranger things going on. For some reason, Steam considers DiNaO similar to games that aren’t similar at all:
The reason is tags. Some tags players put on the game (not without a reason, mind you) make it seem like games of other genres. So, we gathered some tags to stand beside other RTSes. Which ones do you think suit DiNaO the best?
And we're kindly asking you to help us by putting these tags in the same order. You can put tags here:
If it so happens that you've already added tags, you need to remove them, then close the tag window and open it again, so it’s clear of the previous tags – this way you can change the order of tags.
Thank you in advance for your support! We’ll be back with more news!
Farmer's Market Bins are now available to craft at Farming Level 13.
Grass performance improved and spawn rate reduced. Grass now has 1 sprite instead of 3 overlapping sprites. It looks slightly less cool but it shouldn't tank your framerate anymore if there's a lot of grass.
Improved Sprinkler performance - should be less or no lag spike when sprinklers go off.
Slightly improved sprinkler particle effect.
Crows no longer spawn at all if there is a Scarecrow nearby.
Fix for placing torches and lanterns - cannot overlap them anymore.
Some fixes from the aftermath of changes here. All weapons should be influenced by level and skill points now.
Critical Damage is in place for Melee weapons. They're all set at 12.5% with 1.5x crit. They will most likely be tuned on a weapon to weapon basis. With the ability to be buffed/nerfed (in the future) by modifiers.
"blocked" is printed out on the screen on a successful shield parry. it makes it feel better to see it like a success message.
i think the latest changes make choices feel a bit more impactful but now also a little OP, so I will eventually tune or add more npcs etc.... this is more of a introduction of the features for today.
thanks for playtesting! hope your weekend is good!
