In today’s Progress Report, the Disruptive Behavior team shares the latest results and upgrades made to Call of Duty’s anti-toxicity tools, which will reinforce the ongoing work toward deploying our anti-toxicity systems for the launch of Call of Duty®: Black Ops 6.
Voice & Text Moderation in Black Ops 6 on Day One
Voice and text moderation systems designed to combat toxic behavior already deployed in Call of Duty®: Modern Warfare® III will launch with Black Ops 6 on day one on October 25. This includes the global availability (excluding Asia) of Call of Duty’s AI-powered voice moderation system in English, Spanish, and Portuguese. Call of Duty will also expand voice moderation support to French and German for Black Ops 6 at launch.

Text-based moderation of in-game text chat and usernames in twenty languages will be deployed for Black Ops 6 on day one.

The Disruptive Behavior team knows that hype and passion is part of Call of Duty’s DNA. Voice and text-based moderation tools in Call of Duty don’t target our competitive spirit – it enforces against behavior identified in the Call of Duty franchise Code of Conduct, targeting harassment and derogatory language. Similar to Modern Warfare III, the Call of Duty Code of Conduct will be visible during the initial in-game flow when players first launch core multiplayer modes in Black Ops 6, asking players to acknowledge the Code of Conduct pillars.
Over 45 million Text Messages Blocked, Across 20 Languages
Since Modern Warfare (2019), Call of Duty has collaborated with Community Sift to support text-based moderation. In August, our text moderation expanded from 14 to 20 languages.

Call of Duty’s text moderation is available in English, French, Italian, German, Spanish, Portuguese, Russian, Polish, Japanese, Korean, Arabic, Chinese (Traditional and Simplified), Turkish, Dutch, Thai, Vietnamese, Indonesian, Finnish, and Romanian.

Call of Duty has implemented a new analysis system for username reports to enhance efficiency and accuracy, surfacing critical reports to our moderation team for investigation and action.

The Disruptive Behavior team has also been emphasizing proactive measures for text moderation activity, reducing exposure to disruptive behavior for our community. The system also analyzes text chat traffic in near real-time, resulting in the blocking of over 45 million text-based messages in violation of the Call of Duty Code of Conduct since November 2023.


Exposure to Voice Toxicity Dropped 43%; French and German Support Added for Launch
Call of Duty’s proactive voice moderation strategy, powered by ToxMod, has helped reduce exposure to disruptive voice chat for millions of players since its global launch (excluding Asia) last year.

Since rolling out an improved voice chat enforcement in June 2024, Call of Duty has seen a combined 67% reduction in repeat offenders of voice-chat based offenses in Modern Warfare III and Call of Duty: Warzone. In July 2024, 80% of players that were issued a voice chat enforcement since launch did not re-offend. Exposure to disruptive voice chat continues to fall, dropping by 43% since January 2024.

At launch, Black Ops 6 will expand its voice moderation to French and German, in addition to English, Spanish, and Portuguese.


Call of Duty Collaborates to Battle Disruptive Behavior
The Disruptive Behavior team is continually making improvements to reduce our community’s exposure to disruptive behavior as well as enhancing our moderation effectiveness across all types of social interactions in Call of Duty. These improvements include improved messaging to players, Code of Conduct updates, and enhancements to our enforcement strategies.

As part of this work, Call of Duty has been working with the California Institute of Technology (Caltech) since 2022 which has resulted in research paper publication and improvements to our disruptive behavior approach which include reduced time to moderation enforcement as a result of Caltech’s research contribution.

The team has also worked closely with the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and their Product Innovation student cohort. This collaboration began in 2022 and continues to this day, with results of developed research providing our team with insights to better identify and combat disruptive behavior.

Additionally, the team is actively engaged in research surrounding disruptive behavior and prosocial activities in gaming. The knowledge gained from these research initiatives are valuable input to be fed back into the game as part of Call of Duty’s overall strategy to combat disruptive behavior.

Halloween Picket Maze - jens
Version 1.0.5 decided it was a demo build, and as such we designated it as a demo build version. However we're still updating the full game (as well as the demo version), so what's the new stuffs?

- Improved animation for passing time. Yep, cat is now doing "cat things" when she waits for time to pass.
- Shuffled the initial 10 levels around a bit, and replaced one level. The new level is intended to teach you how you can and can't move around the ghosts.
- Hopefully this makes it clearer what you can and can't do with the ghosts, which can be a bit confusing if you're a first time player.
- Also, "Join Our Walk" is no more... R.I.P, you will live on forever in our memories.
- What's that random thingy in the top-left corner of the map? Well, there be costumes - it's a faire! While we're still making more of your favorite Halloween costumes, currently you have to endure with only two... but more is to come.

In other news, you might find Halloween Picket Maze extend its OS support to include Linux. Proper testing is still pending, but a Linux / SteamOS (i.e. Steam Deck) build is in-progress.

Halloween has arrived at 8AM!

from the 1st to the 28th there will be pre-Halloween decoration and from the 28th to the 4th the official Halloween decoration, this has been automated so every year the update will automatically be put on, at Christmas I will make a similar update that will remain over time.

thanks to woods from the QSS-M project, he checked some code stuff and seems to have fixed the issue with load and save making the last boss go bananas and switching to deathmatch, now it seems to have been solved, thank you so much for the help, Woods! God bless u mate!

Woods also made some big changes do QSS-M at the same time, now, qss-m has mod folder support and also level selection support, with that, you can select the levels of the game on the main menu for single player just like multiplayer, and also, now, you can select from the main menu a folder from a quake engine mod, and use it in this game! So, semi-mod support is now live, wouldn't call full mod support cuz there isn't a workshop implemented into this game, but I'll research on how to implement it, but if you download around the internet and put into your game folder, you can access mods directly from the main menu! Cool, right? Also, if you record some quake esque demos, you can watch your machinimas from the main menu!

Also, some may have noticed that the file size kinda almost doubled, that's because I made some big changes to file naming for maps so that the level selection appears in the correct order, so, to prevent u guys from losing ur progress because of save name incompatibility, I kept the maps with the same names, sorry for that, i'm really bad at coding, maybe in the future I'll find a solution for that or just keep the new files or something. Game now goes from 188 MB to around 300 MB. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Thanks again to Woods for the help, this is now the most feature complete version of the game yet, the ironwail update comes in the future, but now most features from that update are also now in this version :)

As announced before, today's update will add some exciting things to the demo!

This update will include:

  • Minor grammar fixes

  • Slight adjustments to some sentences that were phrased a bit oddly

Howdy all, Futariuum’s Gate followers!

Today’s the day! The Early Access build for Futariuum’s Gate is officially out now on Steam, along with its additional content and add-on packs!

Hoo, boy. This release is a big one. We’ve painstakingly created and refined insane amounts of new content for you all to enjoy. For those who have seen our previous progress, this new release includes:

  • A brand-new card battle system, with deck building and exciting turn-based battles! 20 cards are included in this release, ranging wildly in power and effects!
  • Also completely new, dungeon exploration gameplay! We’ve included three dungeons in this first release and we intend to add many more!
  • 2 new demons to fight in the dungeons, with their own new sex scenes and CGs!
  • New plot progression, including the introduction of 3 new characters that will become very important to the story from here on out!
  • New world events with additional spicy CGs!
  • A new side quest with, you guessed it, a juicy CG scene at the end!
  • And much more!

And for anyone new to Futariuum’s Gate, you’re in for a hell of an experience for our first release on Steam. Up to this point, we’ve managed to cram a whole bunch of content into the game up to this point, including:

  • 90+ exciting, beautiful and very lewd CG scenes and variants!
  • 2 lewd animated CGs!
  • Around 6 hours of dense visual novel story content!
  • 3 characters with the beginnings of their own story arcs and social events in Maya’s Sphere, plus a whole bunch of others in the works!
  • 5 demons to fight so far, with many more planned on the way!
  • A prologue and a completed first episode, following the intended roadmap for our game’s multi-chapter story!

This content-heavy update is the fruit of our labor over the past few months as we’ve worked hard to deliver new exciting content, while also addressing the feedback and concerns our players have given us.
