We’re at Brasil Game Show where attendees can try out Path of Exile 2. To make our first time here special for our players, we asked our Brazilian developers to tell us about the work they’ve been doing for Path of Exile 2. Check out the video below!
As the video is in Portuguese, we’ve included subtitles so you can still enjoy the insights!
Players & Suspects are getting new procedural leg movements to make their movement more grounded and to fix the sliding effect when they move. This is only turned on for co-op as it can cause inconsistency issues in PvP matches. It is our first version, we hope to improve on it as we move forward.
Third Person View Improved
The third person view has received more love, we wanted to improve the experience and make it a bit more user friendly and fun. You will now see a crosshair when you aim. You can switch shoulders by pressing L.Alt( default button for "Modify") while NOT aiming. You can switch between the POVs while aiming by pressing the same button, "Modify". Along with making it feel smoother.

A new Patch went live today with balance mostly focused on bringing down various sources of Cooldown Rate on Items. Check out the full notes here.

God Reworks - The crew talked about our approach to reworks in SMITE 2. We're looking at Gods on a case by case basis and evaluating them. Some characters notorious for their balance (IE: Nox, Persephone, etc) may get heavier changes, but we want to make sure we try to stay true to the character identity players have come to know
The team is continuing to work on Spectator improvements to make sure the Founder's Series LAN in January has the best possible viewing experience!

Invite your friends, family, coworkers, and enemies to see how they think when it comes to questions like, “In one word, what’s the cutest nickname for butts?” or “In one word, what’s the best sandwich topping?”
Get to know The Jackbox Survey Scramble’s four game modes!
Hilo: Can you guess the most popular one-word cat names? How about the least? In Hilo, compete to find the most and least popular answers to a wide variety of questions. The rankings may surprise you! It turns out a lot of people named their cat Frank. That's a freebie.
Speed: In the fast-paced Speed, think on your toes to uncover as many answers on the list as possible, as quickly as possible. It’s everyone for themselves in a race against the clock! Each round the points increase, and the stakes get a little higher! Can you handle it?
Squares: Two teams compete to claim three squares in a row on the grid. Guess popular choices for the first squares, semi-popular choices for the middle squares, and least popular choices for the final squares. We guarantee, you've never had a more heated argument over attractive fictional characters than you will playing Squares!
Bounce: In Bounce, two teams control a paddle that sits on a scale between most popular to least popular answers. Work with your team to guess an answer that puts your paddle in the right place to intercept a bouncing ball and stop your opponents from scoring a goal! But be careful! The ball gets faster with each answer!
The Jackbox Survey Scramble will include four game modes at launch, with additional game modes added in a free update before the end of the year!

KICKSTARTER UPDATE
We finally have the full contact info for all Kickstarter Backers in hand!
Now begins the tedious process of manually sending keys out to everyone who is owed them. This could easily take a few days, emailing >800 backers while trying to run maintenance on the game.
But we'll get those keys out to you as quickly as we're able!!
WHERE'S THE DEMO?
While there's still more bug-fixing to come, there have already been a handful of impossible to replicate bugs that have had us super stumped!
Today we came to realize that many of these bugs are likely tied to users copying their Demo saves over to the Main game! While this makes sense for a linear story, the 2 versions use different data sets, and can cause a litany of issues when they try to cross-communicate!
Until we are able to bring the Demo build up to the current standard, we are de-activating it. Our apologies for this! But it's our best course of action to stop the bug bleed. Hopefully we'll have an updated version available in a day or two - one that WILL allow you to carry over your save without issue.
