We are excited to announce a major update to "Chicago Project" coming soon! This update focuses on enhancing the game experience and addressing some known issues. Here are the main highlights of the update:
1. New Log Feature: Players can now review past storylines anytime during the free action phase, making it easier to track story progress. 2. Simplified Chase Sequences: We've streamlined the chase sequences to improve game fluidity and player experience. 3. Optimized Dark Vision: In response to player feedback, we've brightened the game's dark scenes for clearer visibility. 4. Text Corrections: The update corrects some text display and formatting errors in both English and Chinese. 5. Flashlight Prompt Fix: We've fixed an issue where the game incorrectly indicated that the flashlight was lost in Chapter Two, even if it wasn't picked up. 6. Dialogue Box Optimization: We've resolved issues with dialogue boxes to ensure that text and character names are correctly synchronized and disappear appropriately. 7. Tunnel Phone Call Bug: We've fixed a bug where players could repeatedly receive calls from Iliana in the tunnel storyline by entering and exiting the area.

Thanks for the feedback provided since launch, and pointing out bugs and crashes that I missed prior to launch! This first post-launch update adds a small amount of content, and fixes some bugs that were reported. Let's get to the primary piece of content that has been added so far!

In the chemical crystal biome on Tierra, a new danger lurks!Chemical Crystal Wanderers!These enemies look a lot like the other chemical crystals at first glance, but will aggressively ward off unsuspecting players, and will shoot their shards in all directions. Here it is in action!Now for the rest of the changes made since the first launch build, as well as the bug fixes!

Fixed crash where saving the game involving campfires or evaporative coolers can sometimes corrupt the save.

Fixed rendering bug where certain base tiles flicker horizontal black lines when the player moves.
Fixed bug where items can't be picked up with a full inventory that can pick it up.
Fixed bug where landing sites don't save spawn points set by beds.
Fixed bug where saving the game while the spaceship takes off puts the player and the spaceship in a different part of the world.
Exploit fixes
Fixed duplication exploit where picking up all items in a single layer, saving the game, and reloading it can cause those same items to reappear.

I'll fix this in early access. - spamming dive, acceleration bug fixed - 4 arms showing up bug fixed, I think - I did some more code optimizations also.
Still to do: - I need to fix the bug where restarting the mission breaks the mission after finding the phone.

ICYMI: Zombie Joe Plushies from Makeship
In case you missed it, our Glow-in-the-Dark Zombie Joe plushies are live on Makeship for the rest of October! Each plush comes with a code for a plush emote and in-game bat wings to match the physical ones that also come with the plush as part of the Makeship Menace event. Codes will be delivered to those who purchased the plushies when they ship early next year!
