- Fixed the glitch out of the Highschool PROPERLY. - Fixed a bug where the Intro music didn't play sometimes. - Attempted to fix the achievements bug. - Hid Diego's guitar if it wasn't supposed to be there in a prom hall cutscene.
Tons of new content in this one, so you absolutely want to check the previous update or version history on the blog for everything. This is a major step toward the final version of the game!
We published a tiny update to the playtest demo. This includes a link to a survey where you can provide feedback on the game demo. Also, a brief reminder that controller support is for wireless (bluetooth) xbox controllers and usb connected ps5 controllers (for some reason the library is not listing the correct controller support).

It's our one-year anniversary of launching on Steam! To celebrate we have a new item in the vintage shop. Hint, it's floral and made of paper. (Paper is the traditional gift for a 1st anniversary.)
We also have a mixed bag of new items, updates, bug fixes, and adjustments. Look for new wallpapers, decals and other items spread between the Base Game and the Coney Island Plus DLC. By popular request, we've added an undo capability to the Paint & Paper window. You can now walk back through the changes you've made or remove just the customization you are working on.
Version 240920.14
Additions
New floral item in the vintage shops to celebrate our one-year anniversary.
2 new large pots added to base game.
Jellyfish air plant added to base game.
Tentacles and Floral Motif Decals to Base Game and Coney Island.
Added 3 wallpapers to Coney Island.
Added several other new art and plant items to Coney Island.
Added Undo functionality in the wallpaper dialog so you can walk back changes you are making.
Added Remove-Customization functionality in the wallpaper dialog so you remove just the aspect of the room you are customizing.
Window trim color option in the wallpaper dialog.
Added added tabs for pots and wallpaper to the Journal.
Fixes
Items could get improperly stacked on one another after buying things from the store resulting in some very strange configurations of furniture and plant.
Fertilizer count did not always dim properly at night.
Plants bought after dusk didn't light up their first night in the apartment.
Layering issue that would hide items placed on the blue sofa.
The repotting window offered medium sized pots when the plant required large or extra-large pots only.
Thanks for playing. We wouldn't be here without your support and we're excited to bring you new goodies and games next year!
It's that time of year again: starting now and until the 29th, we've got the heatwave in-game event happening. Yes, things are gonna get hot before they cool off for winter.
If you've been here before, you'll know what to expect. If not, you'll find a certain new kind of van on the streets and a mystery that could play out for months to come. We've also got a couple of access codes for the event that'll be shared in Discord, plus plenty of smaller bits of content, NPC interactions and things to find.
This weekend Sept 21th-22th there will be servers running and we will be playtesting the game. Feel free to join us!

What's Not Done Yet?
The "Mods" system. This is where you will be able to upgrade the stats of existing gear, or change the damage type of your away team guns. Cool stuff. But I need another week to get it running, and this way you can test what I've done so far while I get mods together. It's another level of multi-tasking for me.
This update is also only accessible by switching to our Experimental branches (instructions on how to do so here) - although please be aware they have slower load times and worse performance than normal builds due to the extra logging they contain!
Bugfixes:
Fixed a rare crash that could occur if a unit was killed during the enemy turn.
Mesmerise will no longer trigger if a shot from the HEVY Launcher misses the target Psyon, but the blast kills the target anyway.
