At FuturLab we’re always trying to implement more ways to make PowerWash Simulator more accessible to everyone. An example of this is our Aim Mode feature, which has been shown to help with the effects of motion sickness, which you can read more of here:
Today we’d like to show you more about an upcoming change to the dirt highlight!
This will be included in our next update and will change the highlighting in two ways
Firstly, you’ll be able to switch between 7 colours:
Orange (Default)
Red
Green
Blue
Yellow
Pink
White
The second change will be the duration of the highlight. This will have a sliding scale from 0.9 seconds up to 5 seconds long, which should decrease the need to spam that highlight button
Will, FuturLab Multiplayer Programmer, had a lot of input in prototyping these changes. He says a couple of his reasons for working on this were "the community requests and seeing content creators struggle to find some dirt due to the colours. The second was because playing games with people that have some form of colour vision deficiency made me realise how easy it is to be a barrier to some things in games."
These changes will only affect the highlight colour, the pulsing when picking a subtask in the tablet menu will remain the same as it has been.
We’ll have more news soon on when this will be coming to PowerWash Simulator, along with our Shrek Special Pack, but you won’t have to wait too long!

It’s been a long time since a news post has gone live, today that changes. We have a major development update for you on the status of Deadstick, and who else to bring you this information but Chris Cheetham himself.

The reason we have decided to work on Deadstick is because we believe in it, and want to make sure it becomes a reality. Our aim is to share as much with you, our community as possible between now and launch. This will be a range of information from developer diaries, short videos/gifs, to screenshots of the game being developed - not all news will be a major update but we want to make sure you are along for the journey, you can also join us on our Discord to chat with other pilots.

Here's our roadmap for Combat Complex, a fast, frenetic sci-fi action RPG (ARPG) with fluid combat, WASD / twin-stick controls, random loot, and procedurally-generated levels. The roadmap includes the features of the upcoming Early Access release on October 4, 2024, and our further plans for the game, up to the full 1.0 release next year.
With the most recent update, we have revamped the Arena system and introduced the domination leaderboard in the hall of fame. Engaging in the arena's elimination mode not only grants rewards based on your elimination rank but also contributes arena medals towards the domination leaderboard. This allows you to challenge and compete against other players.
Unique Domination Reward
The domination leaderboard offers more than just a chance to compete with others; it also presents exclusive rewards to the top 100 players at the conclusion of an arena season: special frames for your player profile. The frame remains a constant customization, persisting through changing seasons. However, you have the opportunity to elevate your frame by consistently securing a spot within the same bracket in the top 100 multiple times. With each achievement, the frame undergoes a unique enhancement, becoming increasingly exclusive and radiant. This enhancement process can be repeated up to five times, ensuring a truly remarkable and distinguished frame.
Issue with Displaying Domination Rewards
We apologize for the current issue regarding the incorrect display of the frame reward, which does not appear as shiny as intended. Rest assured, we are committed to resolving this issue before the conclusion of the ongoing arena season.
