First of, I want to thank everyone who played DHP in its first month. I hope you had some fun and found some charm in its gameplay. Thank you very much, it means a lot to me.
Feedback and future content
As you surely can guess, DHP is not a big seller here on steam and its player base is, at this point, very small. But since this game doesn't need to be a big seller, its further development can fully focus on the players that do like this game, in one way or another. So I would like to know more about your thoughts about future content or improvements.

Feel free to share your thoughts and I do my best to respond quickly. But please notice I am developing this alone and I got a full-time job on the side, so it may take up to a few days for an answer. I am excited to read from everyone who is willing to share their thoughts.
New Map
With the update, a new map will be added to the private session map selection. A silent, eerie cave with the hell-match-mode in third and first person version. I hope you like it as much as we had fun testing it. It almost feels a bit like a horror-style pvp experience.
Jungle hell map now unlocked from start
Maybe it was not the smartest idea to force people to wait alone on a pvp map to unlock a new map. Sorry to everyone who had to sit through it. The map will now be available right away for everyone. The text-part within the product description will be removed after the patch launched as well.
That's of for the most part
Only other things that changed is some explanations that are added to the main menu buttons.

- Fixed crash caused by infinite loop from quest system after killing any orc - Fixed crash caused by dividing by zero from the character level up formular - Fixed companion occasionally keeps blocking after combat - Fixed duplicated blocking effects when NPC has blocked enemy attacks - Added portal to the orc base map, the portal is spawned after killing the ogre located inside the orc base. - Adjusted the camera when performing some of the sprint attacks - Changed the character respawn location to be near the corpse and the respawned character automatically loads the learned spells and picked items from the most recent save file. - Fixed the learnt spells and recruited companions not loaded after player character respawns and then teleports to another map. - Esc key can be used to close the inventory window or open the pause menu. - Added map textures to the map UI. - Changed some quests and added quest markers to the maps. - Completed the Chinese translation for the menus.
- Found 2 different ways staff could potentially get stuck during restaurant service. The first is that Chefs could spawn behind obstructed furniture, which would cause them to get stuck during service. The second is that they could cook an order for a customer who has already left, but a new customer sits down in that seat, which might cause the chef to get stuck. Both are fixed now, but we will keep an eye on any other possible instances that staff could get stuck.
- Fixed an issue where some furniture items couldn’t be placed.
- Fixed another issue dealing with corrupt save files.
- Fixed an issue when doing the first quest - after meeting the 5 locals, going to the furniture shop to buy some furniture before entering the restaurant with Hasel, which caused a freeze.
- Fixed backup loads not updating Skills
- Fixed an issue where destroying clothing in the inventory sometimes undresses the character.
- Fixed an issue when after completing certain quests that triggered another quest – trying to load this backup save file would not load the new quest. This resulted in having no quests to do. Currently, this affects the quests Thermal Troubles, Shabby Floors, & The Source of Inspiration. If this bug occurred to you, the missing quest will now automatically trigger when you enter the game.
- Fixed an issue where you can accept party contracts before unlocking the required skill.
- Fixed a visual issue where customers would teleport to their seat, after using Force Close.
We will keep an eye on bugs, and work on some quality-of-life additions for the next update!

I reactivated the old version of Genesis! Which those who saw the birth of Kring know....
Since it's really weird and cryptic, I decided a while back to remake it from scratch by making the gameplay a little more intelligible and flowing by putting an option that allowed the old version to be reactivated.
Then, in the weeks before the release, seeing that crashes generated by the old code from the old version of Genesis would pop up from time to time, I disabled it and made it inaccessible in order to prevent the game from crashing.
Now I've caught the bug that generated the crash -- I hope no more mysterious ones pop up! The code in the old version of Genesis is really old and rather fragile...
Go into the OPTIONS and turn on the second-to-last option “GENESIS VERSION” to “ORIGINAL and CRYPTIC”
Also: - PARASITE FIGHTER: I inserted PAUSE!!! Press the “P” key to pause the game. It looks like a small thing but it's not :) basically I had to put my hands in all the items in the game! But now it's done and it will also come in handy for future developments of the game. - I also added new firing types and animations of the spaceship when it fires. If you want the cheat to change the firing type, press F5 during the game.
- BIODISSEY: Now, when you enter Biodissey you will find available all the resources you have collected in New Genesis. Now, accessing Biodissey (which is the 4X section of Kring - yet another game within a game!) is not a simple matter: first you have to finish all of New Genesis, collecting as many resources as you can; then go to the Leaderboard (on the icon of which will be Biodissey), you will see all the resources you have collected, and click the Rotating Star; so you go to the Tartar screen, which will look different than usual. Load up your Kring army and set off. There you will arrive in the Biodissey, with all the resources (that you have previously collected in New Genesis) available!
Note: Biodissey is still LOTS of work-in-progress. As soon as I finish Parasite Fighter (in which I now have to implement the artificial intelligences of the various enemies and create a decent increasing difficulty progression) I'll get back into it and finish it. I can't wait to get back into healthy data game design!
