New to Forza Horizon 5? Don’t sweat it! We have some tips to help you make the best out of your experience.
As you start the game, you will be quite literally thrown into the Horizon Festival from a plane as the cinematic initial drive sequence starts. When you finish this introductory stage, you will be prompted to create your own unique character. Then it will be time to pick your first ride; select one car between the 2020 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Coupe C8, 2021 Ford Bronco, and 2020 Toyota GR Supra.
Next, drive through different environments while racing a plane during "On a Wing and a Prayer." This special kind of event is called a Showcase. Run across the checkpoints and through the finish line to receive a Hoonigan vehicle and move forward with the game's progression.
After your first Showcase event is done, you'll be prompted to pick between one of two Horizon Stories,: special missions with a narrative arc that progresses as you complete its chapters. Your options are:
El Camino - Into the Storm: Drive through a dust storm for photography. Vocho - The Vocho: Tracking down a long-lost Vocho.
Congratulations!
After completing a chapter in the story you chose, you'll unlock a ton of game modes and features. Now it’s time to wander around the Horizon Festival! Try out the Horizon Arcade for short and quirky mini-games. Multiplayer features will also be unlocked, allowing you to join a convoy with your friends and take on any race together. Customize your cars to your liking or try some of our community-created tunes to improve how your cars handle and feel around the different roads of the Horizon Festival. Give your vehicles a fresh look with our community's liveries, which are available to download, or have a go at creating one yourself! Complete Expeditions to establish Festival Outposts across the world map and unlock even more activities and races!
Last but not least, you will also unlock the Festival Playlist: an ever-changing selection of races and challenges that you can complete to earn points and unlock hard-to-find reward cars and items. As you finish each one, you will earn points that can be used to unlock hard-to-find reward cars and items.

Usual updates have slowed down to focus on myself, however I am packing a big punch very soon!
The new Asteroids ++ update is almost ready! :meng8:
New Campaigns
I know people asked for more content so I have planned out campaigns for the future 1.2.0 update. As soon as it drops, there will be new planet drops as well (The planet in the news art should hint what the long campaign will include)
Two campaigns will be short (2 and 3 planet campaign), and one will be as long as the main campaign (8 planet campaign)
The names of the campaigns will be announced later, for now you can guess.
Dailies!
There are rumors that daily levels are coming to the game, which give the player a randomized loadout on a randomized sector and randomized waves, also coming with leaderboards to compete with friends, don't tell them that I told you!
In the future, weekly and daily events will have restricted weapons, abilities and utilities, making the game a bit more interesting to find solutions to problems, but I'm thinking to add new weapons first before diving into that!
New Rocks!
Also coming in the brand new asteroid type (with new music) and planet types (more on that later!) New weapons are coming as explained earlier, but before all of that, I'm still working on 1.1.8, I talked about it here, which brings crafting and should be out soon.
Thanks for the patience, if you have bugs to report, report them here! Thanks again!
Nefasto's Misadventure: Meeting Noeroze - Yeppoh Games
We went over the major new additions for the future patch – from new quests and endings to revamped UIs and Quality of Life features. Now we cover some less visually enticing but still important aspects, mainly optimizations and some minor changes.
faster processing for navigation and pathfinding;
speech bubbles have been refactored to allow a few features;
improved lip-syncing and text parsing;
faster loading times for scenes;
some minor lighting effects;
and a handful of continuity fixes.
Did we remove the countdown? No, that one stays. Did we make the game more trolly? You bet we did! Did we fix some of the bugs at least? What's a "bug"?
This will be the last post-DEV LOG for a while. The next will likely be the announcement of the release date for the v1.5 patch. Right now we are mostly finishing the missing parts, a bit of polishing and soon we'll enter the beta testing.
Locked the Hanwell Bypass until you have all ID cards.
This update seems larger than it's content because it also comes with the ground work for tomorrows big 0.75 content update.
Please note, that means it comes with the new Story difficulty mode. Because of the new difficulty tier, you're saved difficulty will have decreased by 1. So if you were on Normal, you will now be on Easy, be sure to check and change this to your preferred level.
See you all tommorow!
Because it could ruin your experience and allow you to do the end before the beginning, this was a rushed update, so as ever, if I broke anything, please let me know and I'll get right on a fix.
