The World of Kungfu: Dragon and Eagle - DAZAI
Both the default branch and the testing branch have been updated.

EA Default Branch Update Notes:
-[Inheritance Fix] Inheritance NPCs can now inherit multiple items. The rules are: +1 item inherited per playthrough, with a maximum of +5. The "No Regrets" trait can provide an additional +1. In the first few playthroughs, you can rely on "No Regrets" to further increase the inheritance count. Once the maximum inheritance of 5 is reached, "No Regrets" will no longer add to the inheritance count.
PS: Fixed the issue where filtering items would cause "bad things" when inheriting items...

-[Martial Arts Fix] Fixed the issue where martial arts did not increase properly when leveling up.

-[Animal Fix] Fixed the issue where animals, such as lotus ducks, could not learn animal-type martial arts.

-[Self-Creation Fix] Fixed the issues with abnormal attributes for swordsmanship, blade technique, and insight/strength when creating self-made martial arts. If there are any issues with self-created martial arts, we can communicate and adjust at any time.

In addition to the fixes mentioned above, the testing branch also includes the following fixes and adjustments:
- [Breakthrough Fix] Fixed the issue where damage and inner strength increased in a way that caused discrepancies when breaking through martial arts star levels. Some martial arts were dealing less damage the more they broke through.
PS: We hope everyone can test this fix together; if there are any anomalies, we will optimize and adjust accordingly.
PS: The issue where self-created martial arts had two critical damage entries.

-[New Items] Added several items to create traps in the scene for identified items. We hope you will enjoy these little things

-Fixed some martial arts and traits:
1)Fixed the anomaly with the traits of the Eastern Book Sect's 7, 8, and 9-star martial arts.
2)Fixed the issue where Hengshan disciples would recover health excessively on critical hits. Now, Hengshan disciples will recover 1% of their health on critical hits, which is a significant reduction, but still quite practical since Hengshan has many rapid-fire martial arts; each critical hit allows for recovery.
3)Fixed the issue where some wanted criminals in the Central Plains could not act, and slightly increased the attributes of some wanted criminals.
4)Fixed some abnormal entries in the martial arts collection and removed unnecessary displays of martial arts.
5)Fixed the issue where the Song Mingguang Armor would override other enhancement attributes.

-Adjusted the Four Absolutes to ignore all abnormalities; players can test this out now. The Four Absolutes can be affected by certain abnormal damage, so we hope debuff-oriented players can take them down.
-Story fix for the Eastern Book Sect where encountering Shangguan Nan was not required to recruit him directly.

-Added a new illustration for the Floating Iron Cavalry. If you like it, you can recruit this black-faced new follower.

Some rare followers have random attributes, and there's a chance to encounter exceptional ones.
Anti-Extinction - Furr-Tec
Greeting Agents!

It’s time for another major update! Some of you may have heard about our previous plans to migrate to Unreal Engine 5. After some heavy technical evaluation and unity getting there act together, we’ve made the decision to stick with Unity due to the significant challenges in porting over our unreleased mechanics and features to UE5. But don’t worry—there’s still plenty of exciting stuff on the horizon!

We are full steam ahead on Anti-Extinction, now on Unity 6, with Unity 7 support coming soon to the alpha branch in our playtest version.

What’s New Since We Last Spoke?
A lot has happened, so let’s dive in:

- Unity Issues? Solved! We’ve overcome several roadblocks we faced with Unity, thank goodness.
- Demo Delays: Unfortunately, the release of our demo is delayed due to financial constraints and ongoing efforts to secure new investors.
- Visual & Performance Upgrades: We’ve revamped our lighting and VFX engines to support HDRP. We chose HDRP to deliver the visual fidelity we envisioned, which URP couldn’t achieve without significantly more time and resources.
- Nanite for Unity? Yes, it’s happening! We’re closely monitoring a third-party company called NanoTech, who are working on bringing Nanite to Unity. This will drastically improve the quality and performance of our world-building. We hope to integrate this tech later this year, with potential updates rolling out as we stabilize it for full production.

Unity's Latest Updates – What This Means for Us
Here are some official, exciting Unity updates that are relevant to our future plans:

- Unity is making Burst more tightly integrated into the engine, which will improve performance across the board.
- The transition to .NET 8/CoreCLR is well underway, with the Unity Editor and Players now running on .NET 8 CoreCLR, and Mono officially being phased out.
- The MSBuild support for building projects is also progressing, making life easier for all of us devs!

For us, this is massive! A lot of the features we’re developing are built on .NET 8—from gameplay mechanics to our innovative passkey tech. We're eagerly waiting for further announcements, especially at Unite 2024 in Barcelona, happening September 18–20. Fingers crossed!

Support Us!
We can’t do this without your help. If you’d like to support the development of **Anti-Extinction**, here’s how:

- Consider donating or becoming a member on Patreon or Ko-Fi.
- Purchase some of our content on Gumroad.
- Stream our original soundtrack, Furr-Tec, on your favorite music platform—it’s free and helps us out a ton!

From the entire Furr-Tec Development Team, we want to thank you for over 3+ years of incredible support. We hope to have more exciting news (and a playable build!) later this year, once we get the final word from Unity.

Stay tuned and keep the faith!

From the Leadership TeamA message from us, the Furr-Tec leadership team:

Hephaestus Aether (CEO):"We’re pushing the boundaries of what we can achieve, and every bit of your support helps us move forward. Thank you for being part of this journey!"

Jyra Foxx (CCO):"Our vision for Anti-Extinction has never been clearer. We’re excited to share this adventure with all of you—let's make something incredible together!"

Apollo (CMO):"The road ahead may have challenges, but the reward will be a game that stands the test of time. Keep spreading the word and helping us build the community!"

Caesin (President):"From day one, this project has been about innovation and heart. With your continued support, we’re making that vision a reality!"

Koda (Secretary):"Every comment, share, and message of encouragement fuels our passion. Thank you for keeping us going!"
