Thank you for playing Chef RPG!

Although this was a very exciting day, this launch could have gone smoother. We were made of numerous issues present in the game, and we understand this can be disappointing when diving into the game for the first time. The good news is that most of these issues can be fixed fairly quickly. This patch fixes most of the text / spelling errors present in the game. We will take a deeper run through and try to catch any remaining text errors.

Some players also experienced forced movement in 1 direction. This is likely caused by having a controller plugged in, or a having a virtual controller. We have a made a small tweak to joystick sensitivity, and hope this could fix this issue. For now, we will not fully remove joystick controls since some players have already started playing with Steamdeck.

As for the rest of the bugs, once we are aware of the specific bug and can recreate it, it should be very quick to fix. We are doing a run through to find the more serious bugs posted today, and hopefully they can be resolved by end of day.

Some players also posted good quality of life suggestions like better map & quest tracking and improved UI. Once bugs are resolved, we can implement these features in just a few days.

Either way, we apologize for these issues and they should hopefully be resolved very quickly!

• Added 2 tasks for increasing the player's architect level

• Each task now has the option to exceed conditions and receive a prize

Emberdrift Playtest - Vividesca Games
Dev Note: Many players were accidentally cancelling Emberdrift by pressing the ability button mid-drift. This change should prevent accidental cancels and make movement more intuitive. Movement acceleration in midair was increased to allow players to recover from mistakes more easily.

-Canceling is now performed by pressing the opposite direction of your current slide direction
-Movement acceleration while mid-air increased

Dev Note: A huge focus of this patch is performance improvements. Lag spikes when entering new rooms should be greatly reduced and the frame rate in later large rooms with many enemies should be greatly improved

-Rooms are now instantiated asynchronously when entering new rooms
-Enemy awake logic is now staggered to prevent large lag spikes from many enemies awakening at once
-Enemies in wave patterns are now instantiated asynchronously
-HUD UI was moved to a separate render camera to prevent redrawing when zooming camera
-Enemy aggro checks now occur once every few frames rather than every frame
-Many other changes under the hood to improve performance

-Pet evolution is now announced via header text
-Pets are now given unique names on adoption
-Combo can now be manually cashed in with the Ultimate button to allow combo coins to be used in shops. This was previously on the interact button, but this prevented the player from being able to utilize the Nemesis Hourglass as the interact button is needed to skip boss dialogue.

-Many other bugfixes, tweaks, and graphical improvements!

The Last Game - fr.ju
After a small summer break, here is a new version with some nice additions and improvements, hope you'll like it!

Additions:
- add a new boss on floor 1
- add Rubber Duck item
- add Divine Retribution item
- add Golden Scepter item
- add Tornado item
- add Black Hole item
- add Magic Crystal item

Improvements:
- the Pyromaniac now uses a flamethrower instead of flame trails on dash
- add avatars to PNJs
- display boss marks in pause menu
- allow to long press left/right in menus
- the Lightning item now propagates the bolt to other enemies more often
- the Hacker hacking ability is now influenced by luck
- the Mix item now has effect on the Forge and Laboratory rooms
- better performances

The demo for BARPG is officially live, and playable now.
Was there a potentially game-breaking bug that needed to be patched immediately? Of course, this is a game launch after all. But I couldn't be happier with the reception so far, and I look forward to everyone playing the game in the near future. Please feel free to leave feedback with the button on the main menu, all input is welcome to make this game the best it can possibly be!


If the main menu screen does NOT display V0.7.7 in the bottom right corner, please do right click on the game in your library, press 'Properties', then 'Installed Files' to perform the "Verify Integrity of Game Files" step once. This will ASSURE that you are on the most up-to-date version of the game, and avoid any chances of you encountering any of the aforementioned bugs.

KNOWN BUGS:

  • There is a ghost in the apartment. I wish I could say this was some cool lore, but no it's a collision ghost.
    On rare occurrences, your player character will be blocked by an invisible wall while trying to walk through your apartment, and you will be slowly pushed to the right. Extensive playtesting is underway to solve this issue, I will keep you all updated on when this gets fixed.
    For now, if you experience this bug, use the pause menu, select "Quit to Desktop" and reload the game. The issue will be fixed, progress saved, and hopefully the ghost does not return for the rest of your playthrough.[/color]

  • On rare occasions, a spill cannot be swept up, resulting in a deduction to pay. SORRY, WILL LOOK INTO THIS ONE AND SOLVE HOPEFULLY QUICKLY!![/color]

  • Some dialogue can be partially obscured by UI elements when text is set to the maximum size in options. [/color]

DAY 1 FIXES :
  • Bottle glug sounds will now no longer get stuck in an infinite loop if pouring while shift ends.

  • Tutorial sequence break that occurred with regards to the radio is now fixed.

  • Layering of decor has been adjusted to not obscure player.

  • Known UI elements that could obscure mouse inputs now should no longer do that. (I hope there aren't more but time will tell)

  • Paintings and signs randomly being altered and/or duplicated by a ghost are now free of any paranormal activity.

  • Decor now spawns on day 7 after Landlord arrives.

  • Recipe score multipliers now persist over days. (Yeah that was almost game-breaking, thanks Cesar)

  • Last Call sequence is now displayed to the player, and lasts longer, giving more time to clean up messes without new customers entering.

  • Location of spills has been altered to improve visibility

  • Added Biscayne Blvd by Sylvan LaCue b/c its a classic and a banger, I somehow didn't already add it.

  • This patch introduces "Debug Challenges" which are special challenges that will not be in the final version of the game, used exclusively for testing. This will allow beta players to test and try out new content without me having to implement the content into the main meta progression.

Solbind Potions
We have added a new potion to the shop! You can now purchase Solbind potions to convert your phantom decks into digital decks! In your collection view a phantom deck and select the potion icon to use your Soldbind potion.

Medals & Steam Achievements
We have added steam achievements to the game! Along with these achievements you will be rewarded with medals when you complete these achievements. In the cosmetics menu you can now add medals to your banner on the matchmaking screen as well as these medals will now show up during online matches. Medals will also be given out as exclusive rewards not just for achievements. We will be rewarding Kickstarter backers their exclusive medals soon.

Unlockable Campaign Encounters Updates
All unlockable encounters have been updated to have changed decks and will no longer have different boss powers each time you fight them. We have made these changes as having new powers for each encounter made it hard to be able to strategize how to face them.

Bug Fixes
  • Fraud’s Experiments should now be loading properly.
  • Elementalist Knight is now being granted slay abilities from other cards and being able to be targeted by other effects.


Towerborne - KS44


Greetings, Aces! We’ve officially kicked off Early Access, and we’re already working hard to squash bugs and deliver improvements to the experience — thanks to feedback from Founders.

Issues Fixed
  • Login Issue with Special Characters: Resolved an issue that was blocking players from logging in when using non-western, emoji, and other special characters.
  • Some players not receiving credit when completing a Venture: We’ve implemented a fix for non-leader players in group missions who weren’t receiving quest credit. From now on, all players participating in a mission will receive credit for completion.

Long Way - Arkasha_Eagle
A major update for Long Way is now live. The changes include:

  • LAN connection issue fixed: Players can now join LAN sessions.
  • Complete overhaul of the animation system and level optimization, resulting in an average FPS increase from 30% to 40%(yes, optimization used to be so terrible).
  • Visual bug with noise around shaded objects has been resolved.
  • Vehicle behavior reworked, reducing the chances of flipping for certain cars.
  • Vehicle repair bug fixed, ensuring repairs now work as intended.
  • Ray-traced reflections improved, now showing more objects and offering sharper reflections in Lumen.



  • Added a level for a photo shoot inside the hangar;



  • Pickup model fully replaced, and added two new cars.
