Following the announcement of our plan to reset PVP season, we heard many speculations regarding related issues, so we decided to both clarify and discuss future plans in this post.
The purpose of any official server is to provide consistent gaming experience. As the player base grows, we see the different demands and desires among players, and therefore, we aim to diversify server types to meet these varied needs.
We know some players want a faster-paced PVP experience, so this time we have added servers that reset monthly and increased multipliers for those seeking quicker progression and more fast-paced PVP.
We’ve also introduced certain themed servers for testing purposes, which will help us better understand your needs. For example, weekend PVP servers are for players with a busy weekday schedule, and hardcore PVP servers for those who want to challenge themselves to the limit! We welcome brave players like you to take on this challenge!
Furthermore, we've planned to set up long-term beta-testing servers that do not reset player data after a season. Of course, we’ll evaluate and make adjustments during the Early Access phase. We’ll announce any changes at least three months in advance.

First Server Types Planned in Next Week(Available in Asia, North America, Europe; the reset plan for South America and Oceania to be determined based on practical situation after the regional season):

PVP Servers:
● PVP Test Server - 4-Player Tribe – monthly reset – 4-hour raids
● PVP Test Server – 10-Player Tribe – monthly reset – 4-hour raids
● PVP Test Server – 4-Player Tribe – tri-monthly reset – 2-hour raids
● PVP Test Server – 10-Player Tribe – tri-monthly reset – 2-hour raids
● PVP Test Server – 4-Player Tribe – monthly reset – weekend raid- 4-hour raids
● PVP Test Server – 4-Player Tribe – monthly reset – hardcore mode - 4-hour raids
● PVP Test Server – 4-Player Tribe – long-term – 2-hour raids

Greetings players! The newest patch (0.19.36) is now live on all platforms on the experimental branch. Please save your progress and restart your game client to update. You should be able to load normally and continue playing. If you have any problems, please let us know.

Bugs and Fixes
  • Fixed several crashes related to using quit to main menu option.
Known issues:
  • If your settlers are experiencing weird animations with some actions, be sure to turn off V-sync and cap the game's FPS in the game's options. Cap it to 60fps. If the issue persists, cap it at 30.
  • Some text keys are still not translated.
  • Player-triggered events don't have sound effects
  • Settlers will not refuel torches if there is no floor/ground beneath them.
  • Settlers will not choose the closest production building (if there are more of the same type), but the one that has a production set first in the global list of productions.
DISCLAIMERS:
⚠️ We decided to keep Dev version of the game on the experimental branch, and that means that a Dev log with red text will appear from time to time. This will help us get more info from your side when crashes and bug reports occur.
⚠️ Also, at the moment, the experimental and the main branch are different. You should not play saves from the experimental branch on the main one as it can cause various bugs - please avoid doing this.

Hello everyone, I apologize for any negative feelings caused by the previous announcement. I sincerely apologize for that.

A lot of effort was invested in maintaining and promoting the name "Elegy of Fate," and changing the name might render that effort wasted. However, after reconsidering, I believe that the previous promotion has lost its value, so it’s better to start anew. Therefore, the project has been renamed to "Chaos Entropy"

The review has been approved, and the release is scheduled for mid-October. This timing allows us to take advantage of the new product festival for some promotional traffic, and we also plan to make some adjustments to the storyline.

Thank you again for your support. The project is still here, and we hope you will add it to your wish list to help us gather some traffic. Thank you!

It's a big day for Beyond Astra! We're finally unveiling the game we've been working on for the past 5 years!



The trailer briefly shows, in order of appearance: ships moving through space, simultaneous space/surface gameplay, troop landings, ground armies, the city building system, the space trade route system, the space station building system, the ship building system, exploration, planetary biomes, supraluminal travel, and megastructure.

  • Abilities "Shrink" and "Grow" no longer affect gravity and now include additional randomness.

The larges scene in the game is now Panama canal with almost 1 Million Polygons, New York had much less, its build as close to the real New Panama Canal as possible, especially around the canals. New and old canal can be traveled. A new event now is possible for manual and getting status points.






Another feature is now the language setting at the beginning new languages also added as Russian, Norwegian and Japanese.


New feature also as user wishes , you can now select a user and the ship to show the position, direction and I also will show the route travelling.


This adds also new features in the Captains Wall, now you can select new routes to avoid, Panama, New Panama, Suez, NOK (North Kiel Canal) and the new routes Nordwest and Northeast Passage. Careful on new events ! -- Ships which did not fit through the canals are automatically choosing a different path.

Beirut, Haifa, Salah, Tangier, Port Klang, Odessa, Vladivostok, Murmansk and Noworossijsk
Smaller Harbour: Las Palmas and Nassau
Now also part of the gameplay for freight.

Freight loading now is displayed in the captains wall,

Ritual Destabilisation & Collapse 💥

Following your feedback, the Final Showdown has been removed.

Instead, when only three Subjects remain, the Ritual falters, slipping into Destabilisation. Innocents must still complete Tasks, but they will now slowly start to complete themselves. The Infected will lose their global sight of others. Anyone who is downed is Banished instantly. Tread carefully, for this is the moment where choices matter most.

Then, when the Key is claimed, the Ritual descends into total Collapse. The Inbetween takes hold permanently. Any Cursed left behind are Banished on the spot, purged from this realm. For the Innocent, survival becomes a race. Insert the Key into an exit door, and it will now take time to unlock—its duration dictated by how many remain standing.

But beware—the first Innocent through will secure the victory, but the Ritual does not end. You must escape for yourself if you wish to survive. With danger all around, more exits may be opened, but remember, time is against you.

The Blessing System 🌟


Before the Ritual begins, Subjects now have the option to invoke a Blessing, which grants all Subjects of the Ritual temporary access to every Terror and Curse without any cost. This provides a chance to explore all available options in the Store.

In addition to this, you’ll earn Double XP as a reward. Blessings can be bought from the Store or received as part of the Premium Pass in Season 4.

  • Steam Deck: The virtual keyboard now functions properly on the Steam Deck.
Audio
  • Ambient Sound: Ambient noises have been made quieter, especially during Inbetween phases, for a more immersive experience.
  • Inbetween Voice Lines: Voicelines now have an added effect while in the Inbetween, creating a more haunting atmosphere.
  • Volume Adjustments: Reduced the volume of end-of-game Season reward audio and Confession Booth sounds.
  • Mimic Ability Sound: A global sound has been added when the Mimic uses their ability, making it more noticeable.
  • First-Person Voicelines: Voicelines now sound 2D while in 1P view, enhancing immersion.
  • REMOVED: The Experiment’s roar no longer plays in Reality.
  • REMOVED: The "Ready Up" voiceline has been removed.
Misc
  • End of Game Screen: It now displays your identity, making the end of the game more personal.
  • Discord Button: A Discord button has been added to the Play Tab for easier community engagement.
  • Level Cap: The level cap of 300 has been removed, allowing for unlimited progression.
  • Chang’s Dragon Tattoo: Chang has visited the ink shop for a fresh dragon tattoo—check it out!
  • Secret Rabbits: The Secret Rabbits have once again moved. Can you find them?
