I made it so that the recipe display is more like a book, where you flip from page to page, rather than view everything in one large scroll view. The UI was changed to better fit in with the Meta Quest as well as Steam's design language, and was made to be blacker and more readable.
The engine was also updated to Unity 6. Let me know what you think of the design changes!
This week has been all about diving deep into the creative process! I've carved out dedicated time for brainstorming and writing sessions, and I’m excited to share some updates. I’ve finished the outline for Clover’s contract quest, which is a major step forward. Starting next week, I'll be focusing on crafting the dialogue and scripting the events that will bring her story to life. I’m really looking forward to making this quest engaging and memorable for everyone!
Additionally, I’ve completed writing and scripting all of Clover's support conversations. She’s set to be the next Pet available in the game, and you’ll be able to unlock her by completing her contract. I can’t wait for you all to meet her!
As a playable character, she’ll take the role of a sort of rogue, who is less likely to be targeted by enemies. Her weapon of choice is the bow and while her damage output is low, she is a good support member of your team.
Also, here’s a sneak peek of Clover’s max support scene illustration. She’s got a relaxed and easygoing vibe, but don’t let that fool you—she’s got her own set of challenges and a hidden depth beneath her laid-back exterior. Check out the preview below!
For my $5+ Patrons, you can now access the full art of Clover’s support scene as well as her vampire character portraits. I’m excited to see how fans will respond to her once players get to interact with her in the game!

We have new queues for Matchmaking, both on the PvE side and PvP. While these should mostly work the same as they have in the past, a key difference is it is easier to change what your group wants to do. If you start by inviting a friend directly, or get matched with them, you can change your minds and play a different mode or game type.
That sounds minor, but the reason we did this is to lay the groundwork for Custom Games! Yes we are bringing back truly custom games and all the options from years ago. Yes, this also means the ability to browse Custom games, and play user made maps.
For what is new it depends if you have been keeping up with the Reboot or not. The goal of Reboot is to bring the best parts of AirMech Arena (the console version) and AirMech Wastelands (the paid game) into the F2P version of AirMech--known going forward as just AirMech. AirMech Strike was extremely PvP focused, so by dropping the second name we hope it is clear this is the one true AirMech going forward.
Patchnotes are posted ingame, and we'll try to also post them here but as minor updates.
