Over the past two months, "Elegy of Fate" has encountered some complex situations that have prevented it from being launched or resulted in its ban after launch. Unfortunately, I have no choice but to return to self-publishing. The game needs to go through a period of review before re-launching, and the previous re-launch project has been cancelled. Thank you all for your continuous support, and I apologize to those who have been waiting to play the game. Thank you.
For players who previously purchased "Elegy of Fate": after the game is released, I will provide a free key for the re-released version. You will not need to purchase it again. The specific redemption process will be detailed in an announcement after the game officially launches.

Also, major update this week with the addition of collectable cards!
This is a new mechanic that will allow you to perform new actions in combat - collect cards from enemies and use their abilities! The card are consumables that get replenished whenever you rest at a bonfire.
By far, one of the most interesting cards in the deck currently is the WEAPON TOSS, which allows you to throw any equipped weapon at any enemies!
There's also a ton of bug fixes. Take a look:
Fixed a bug where Crystal Knight Celes' collision would remain active after the first battle.
Fixed teleport issues with Midnight Omen.
Added new attacks to the boss bear.
Fixed teleport issue in Arun Garden when falling near the bee boss fight.
Enemies will have increased posture resistance each time their posture is broken.
Made it impossible to backstab continuously. There is now a cooldown before you can backstab an enemy again. The same applies to enemy poise—you won't be able to stagger them immediately after they've been staggered.
Added a visual indicator to the HUD if you don't have enough stamina or mana.
Increased the Lock-On Target Switching Threshold to reduce unintentional lock-on switches.
Reduced critical damage values to balance difficulty.
There's also the possibility to visit the Veilglade Pensinula, which will be the setting for the next expansion currently in the works. This map is a work in progress, though, so keep that in mind should you decide to visit it!

- You can now skip the menu intro by pressing SPACE - Fixed instances where some disappearance and extra object anomalies could be confused with the object displacement anomaly - Fixed an issue where the audio settings weren't applying to the menu sounds - The settings in the menu have been rearranged and split into 3 different categories: Graphics, Game and Audio - The settings in the pause menu have also been split into the 3 categories mentioned above - Fixed a bug where the R00T_K1T menu would stay when a signal change occurs
In just two weeks, the game will be available in early access. I am working tirelessly to implement new features and improve gameplay for the upcoming release.
Here are some details on what I am currently working on:
1. A new Medal system: This feature allows players to complete challenges within dungeons to earn medals that provide significant stat boosts and other benefits. These medals can be a game changer in certain situations.
2. Gathering and Building: I am currently developing two different setups for players to build their main base, where they will spend most of their time before heading out on hunts in the Dungeons. I am continuously exploring ways to add new and exciting elements while maintaining balance.
3. Leveling and Skill Leveling: The maximum level cap for the game will be 99 for now (subject to change in future updates), but that's not all - your skills also have their own levels that increase as you use them, up to level 99. This may also be expanded upon in future updates, with each level providing a boost to your skill powers.

In version 1.14 released on 8/9(JST), a bug of resetting Steam achievements occurred. To resolve this issue, we implemented an Ending List feature in the game.
Your game progress is saved separately as save data, independent of Steam achievements.
If your Steam achievements have been reset, you can restore them by tapping the icon of each unlocked ending in the Ending List.
The Ending List can be accessed from the title screen menu.
We have taken measures to prevent the reset of Steam achievements as much as possible in version 1.15, if the issue reoccurs, we apologize for the inconvenience and would appreciate it if you could report it on the forums. *Please note that even if Steam achievements are reset, as described above, it will not affect your game progress, and you can restore them from the Ending List.
