Hi, everyone. Welcome to another week's developer's diary.

Before we start, we shall cheer for the brave Ukrainian heroes who are currently liberating the Kursk People's Republic, efficiently bringing the war back to the invaders. I wish them good luck.
As such, we got some new flag furniture items in the game that you can place anywhere.

The Flag of Ukraine.

And the Flag of Georgia. (16 years ago, exactly at the beginning of the Olympic Games, Russia invaded Georgia and is still illegally occupying 20% of Georgia to this day. Thus, many brave Georgian soldiers are in this war on the side of Ukraine as well.)
There are also 4 other new flag furniture items you can find in the game as we may have related game content to cover those areas as well in the future.

Of course, flags are not the only new furniture items we got during this week's update. We also got 2 new refrigerators that can be used as containers. But, there is something more than that. They can actually allow you to freeze items, turning water into ice. Generic water will turn into generic ice. But, if you have some special water such as holy water, you will get better ice as well.

Here is an ice made from holy water. As you can see from the image, it inherits some distinct features from holy water.
The ice can then be used for cooking and alchemy. So, feel free to make some Holy Fruit Milkshake if you wish. :)

Now, let's go to the main game content updates.
Following the development of last week, the journey inside the secret rooms of the Fjordr Hospital continues. Unlike what it may look like from the outside, you can find a military order known as the "Order-1062" in one of the rooms. You can easily notice something is very wrong here. Going further deep down in this room, you will find a stair leading to the basement.


And those are what you will find there. In order not to spoil the story, I am not going to tell you what's going on here. But there are some interesting loots down there.

Talking about loots, those heavy soldiers of the Nise Federation now also have their own item drop list and some quite unique gears you can get from them. If you prefer more peaceful ways to acquire those pieces of equipment, maybe you can find them in some chests or cabinets as well. They are all procedurally generated with various attributions and may have different prefixes.

Other than that, we also have a new quest for the Eternal Staff faction. You can help them clean up their ever-messed-up library filled with those cursed books and gain some scrolls as a reward while also improving your relationship with them. It's repeatable. So, you can farm your reputation if you wish. Meanwhile, nobody seems to care if you put some of those books into your inventory after you cleanse them. So, have fun with those additional loots. :D

Day 13 of the Containment Experiment

Played poker with Dr. Fidge and the others. Vermin was obviously cheating but Walls kept jumping to his defense. I don't know what she sees in a sleazy creep like him but I suppose it's none of my business.



Dr. Fidge said that the experiment is going well and the Field is holding. He tried to explain it to me again, but it went in one ear and out the other. All I got is that the experiment is now part of the prestigious Tiny Teams conference and that's apparently a really good thing? Woohoo, I guess...

Note: apparently the powers that be are using an older Field interaction video by some streaming celebrity to promote the event. Weird!

Day 14

Stuck on guard duty with Stutter again. There's not much to talk about. Vermin and Walls finally finished synthesizing and animating all the required "graveyard sprites": visual attachment points to draw the ectoplasm entities into the Containment Field. "The sprites make the Field come to life and feel like a real ectoplasm habitat", as Walls put it.



I have a terrible headache and can't sleep. Wonder how Mom's doing...

Dr. Fidge asked me to gear up and enter the Field. Not the best way to start the day, but it's not like I have a choice. Today they were demoing the experiment to a group of military commanders. How many times do we have to update the experiment's parameters for these demonstrations?



We did manage to correct a long-standing fault in the Field's boundaries that occasionally prevented it from responding to the controller's input, so it's not all bad.

I had a medical checkup with Dr. Henrietta today. She said there's nothing wrong with me physically, but gave me some sleeping pills.



Something's definitely wrong with Dr. Fidge. Stutter asked him about the experiment's end date and Fidge got visibly upset. "We're all doing our best here! I'll have a date for you soon enough". I wonder what's eating him?

Apparently they extracted part of the ectoplasm and packaged it into a miniature field with its own dedicated page on the Steam academic publishing platform. The marketing folks even recorded a new "trailer" for it, like it's the latest summer blockbuster.



Walls and Dr. Fidge keep arguing. She thinks the ectoplasm extraction will weaken the Field's structural integrity. Dr. Fidge said he's under a lot of pressure and had to give the Ghost in a Bottle shareholders something to market.

Oh, and the pills worked. I slept like a slime baby, although I still feel terrible.

Update 1.9

A medium sized update, that I have marked as a small one, since I don't want to spam your steam news feed. Mostly focused on balance and a game breaking bug.

Emika
-Added new animations to emikas bikini costume. Idle breathing animation and shake on click animation for all 3 variations. Enjoy!



Ginny
-Removed the censorship. Ginny is now fully nude, in all her glory.

Dating
- Added a disclaimer, that states that all characters are above 18. I was hesitant to un-censor ginny and was working on remaking her. But, there is no way to remake her and still keep Ginny as Ginny. If I change her, she won't be Ginny anymore. She is a favorite to many players. I also like her just the way she is and don't want to change her.

Gambling
- Fixed a bug where gambling will stop working until you restart the game. It works now.

Globblopper Generators and Gold Generators
- Increased the gold one max progress slightly and the globblopper generator significantly. It was just too strong and needed a nerf. The problem was, it was giving globbloppers and you upgrade it with them too. It was too much. I haven't changed the rewards for it. It's still 50% chance to get a globblopper, just slower.

Merch
- Changed hat, shirt and toy store gold gain from 1,2,3 per level to 10,20,30.
- Removed "resets on purpstige" text.
- Made the text slightly smaller to prevent clipping issues.

Other
- Fixed clipping issues with all generators.
- Typos.

Things I forgot to mention last time that were changed.
- Added new dialogue lines to all girls based on the costume they are wearing. The lewder, the lewder the dialogue.
- Changed the calculations of the rhythm game score. Used to be 15 mistakes for 3 stars, 50 for 2, 150 for 1. Now it's percent based. 95% - 85% - 60%.
- Changed the notes for "Casino Vampire" and "Stars". The songs are easier and more fun now.
- Added Trisha lewd skin.
