Update v4.0 A major focus for our team is delivering Update v4.0, also known as the Network Overhaul.
To understand the Network Overhaul, imagine RISK is a car. To move forward with the features and updates we want to add, we need to overhaul the engine and steering.
When v4.0 launches, everything will look just as you remember—but it will run much smoother.

- The maximum level of "JP Conversion" has been raised to 7.
- The time before auto-aim automatically resumes has been changed to 30 seconds.
- Made the sound of rain a little quieter.
- Fixed a problem in which the same room would be entered even if “Yes” was selected for the “Do you want to try to enter a different room than last time?” option when a quick match was selected.
- Corrected a typographical error.

Gamescom Latam is now past us, and we're very happy to say it was to die for!
The positive reception for our demo blew our expectations away and got our team beyond excited to have you excited about the game!
A huge thank you to everyone who played the game during the event, and a special thank you to those who waited in line to play it, because yeah, there were queues to play every single day! (we might even add a queue mechanic to the game since you like doing that so much)

Demo
We got a lot of important feedback (which is already being worked on as we speak, we love extra work!) as well as many questions, and of course, the main question was: "When is the Demo coming out?"
So... After a slight misunderstanding and one accidental Demon summoning, we're glad to announce that our public Demo is currently already under review by the Steam Team! This means you'll be able to play it in just a couple of days! (and if you don't, "blame the Intern" they said...)
And don't worry, there will be another announcement as soon as it is online, so you'll be notified as soon as you can play it. Please look forward to it!
Gamescom Latam Recap
Now, for those of you who didn't get to meet us "live" (sorry, puns are the soul of our corporation), we're happy to give a sneak peek at how it was to participate in Gamescom Latam!
Our booth on Panorama Brasil was right near one of the entrances! So despite the freezing cold (which our team felt despite the lack of skin) coming in from the very large entrance doors on the last couple of days, it was a great spot to be on!
We were also invited to participate in Banco do Brasil's official booth, having multiple people playing the game at once on awesome high-end setups!
We mentioned our booth had queues, but did we mention we were doing highscores? Some lucky collaborators managed to survive for quite impressive amounts of time, like Gabriel here, who beat the competition, the current boss and our balancing expectations (we appreciate the extra work)!
And that's about it! Pretty cool, huh? Me and the boys were very happy to witness the event in its full glory from the office's computer screens (as undead weren't allowed to be on site. Discrimination, I tell you)!
Thank you once again for supporting our hard unpaid work! Your enthusiastic souls are what fuels us! Literally.

🔥 Major Fall Update Preview - Main Storyline Expansion! 🔥
Since the release of the Southern Chronicles update, we have received tons of support and feedback from our community. As we approach our first anniversary, we want to express our deep gratitude by announcing that a major storyline update is on the horizon—and it will be available for free! Designed to deepen your martial arts journey and broaden the enchanting world of Wandering Sword, this update promises to add more fun to your gameplay. Stay tuned as we will be sharing more details about this in the coming months!
Last but not least, we want to express our deepest gratitude to all of you for your patience and support, and we hope that you’ll enjoy these upcoming updates. We'll have some exciting bundles and discounts coming up during the Steam Summer Sale as well, so stay tuned!
- Low graphics settings no longer drastically change the game's lighting. - The post-processing of the lighting has been changed a bit to boost the light areas a bit without making the dark areas look too light.
Still making progress on Gameshow mode (which is coming along quite well). For now I have:

(mutation) A DNA Extinction: Microbe Health +20% → +30%. yeah, that's right, I'm evil.
(mutation) G DNA Extinction: Microbe Health +10% → +15%.
(mutation) T DNA Extinction: Microbe Health +20% → +15%.
🔄 CHANGES
Tweaked Intro Research prices a bit.
The first purple text appearance you see is pretty much unmissable now.
Added text bubbles for new players:
Informing them they still have something to research if they leave the Intro Research menu without buying Classic Mode when it becomes available to unlock.
Informing them that they can see turret & perk unlocks in the Checklist (these appear on TURRETS & PERKS).
Explanation that Depths aren't optional ascensions for replayability, but rather, the way that you progress in this game.
(If you haven't researched it yet) there's a hover-over explanation for the "Reveal Unknown Unlock Conditions" research button now (which explains that most of them are hidden because they contain story spoilers, and that you'll passively unlock them all if you just continue progressing anyways).
The "click to add it anyways" text below the "MOD WILL DO NOTHING" warning popup is much more noticeable now.
🔨 FIXES
If you want to play Genome Guardian on a touchscreen (or use Steamdeck's touchscreen), aiming/shooting feels a lot better now because your turret will aim BEFORE it fires now, instead of firing in the direction you were previously facing.
(perk) Antidote: You'd see "ENDLESS" at the top during a run (even when it wasn't) with this perk equipped.
(weapon) Railguns: They now properly continue to produce explosions even after you have a negative Speed modifier.
A projectile that was large enough to fill the entire visible area that had Bounce would bring the game to a crawl :P
