A small update with new visuals and some quality of life adjustments.

Visuals:
  • New turret models!
  • Your energy reserves will now be visible at a glance on some structures! Glowing bright blue, green, and a dull red, according to your current reserves.
  • Two (2) brand new enemies!
  • New shooting animations!
Fixes:
  • Adjusted health, range, and damage output values for turrets.
  • Adjusted enemy damage output and health values in earlier levels for both trash and boss waves.
  • Added more cannon fodder in level 4-1 to blow into scraps.
  • Reduced the amount of boss enemies beyond wave 25 in level 3-2.
K!ll All Litterbugs - Headbox
NEW “[color=green]Butterface[/color]” Litterbug seen lurking around sources of water.

Quick fixes: “Joop” vehicle was using an experimental winch system that did not calculate physics correctly in some cases. Reverted to winch system used in other vehicles. Some vegetation rendered incorrectly after latest update.

“Dump Truck” (Featured on Dirt Every Day) has been added as a player vehicle. Access it in the garage in Gamblertown

Network Engineer Simulator - Walrus Game Studio
Hello Network Engineers,
It's been a while since we've talked Net Sim updates. First off we greatly appreciate your time and patience as we work on building a game that we hope will be both enjoyable and engaging. It's been a busy year for many of us in work and our personal lives and creating a nice balance has been challenging. Rest assured we are engaged beginning to regain our focus, and pressing forward.

The main focus this year has been finalizing the demo which sounds like a broken record at this point. We've been working to get the artwork going, audio, UI/UX, game play mechanics and scenarios, Lighting and Level design. We are working to build some foundational tools that will help us designing levels, and network scenarios. We've reached a point now where some of our earlier work is not the most performant and we've learned quite a bit along the way. This means we have an opportunity to refactor our code, by cleaning up the logic, removing the unnecessary parts, and better encapsulating the functionality which will make working with these objects much easier.

We've already started moving beyond the demo and working to build various story elements, networking challenges and scenarios. This doesn't mean we've forgotten about the demo, but the demo will be a bit of a test bed level for us to continue to improve our core mechanics. While the demo level will be far from a complete reflection of the end game product we hope that it will show and highlight some of the core functions and game play mechanics.

  • Went back on Core boss - the move is too cool, I'll let players figure it out on their own
  • Key doors are now visible in the map - easier to know where to go when you got a card

Hello everyone!

One month ago, I launched this game. I never thought I would receive so much support when I started the development, so I am very happy with every gameplay I watch. Thank you so much!

I thought it would be great to make the future of Night Poetry public, so here is a roadmap:

I am planning a major update with lots of cool stuff, including new music and a completely new section in the game, enhancing all its aspects!

Along with this, I plan to add the music room, a dedicated space to listen to the soundtrack with a brief commentary on what was on my mind during its composition—an idea I originally discarded at the beginning of the development due to the limited number of tracks in the current soundtrack (it will increase, I promise!).

That's it! I don't have any dates yet, but I hope you enjoy it!

Sorry, again for patching Blackwell Legacy, Andi, has found few more issues.
Namely:
-A typo on a notebook entry quip.
-Joey not properly placed in Nisanthi's apartment.
-A cpu threshold issue with notebook.
-An exploit regarding the guard and notebook.
-Music resetting when looking at pictures or closeups.
-Achievements and help not pausing the game potentially causing softlocks or crashes.
