Cyber Knights: Flashpoint - Trese Brothers

Knights and mercs - we're back with another update and some key improvements and a big bundle of F10 fixes. Our next update will introduce a new map and a new exciting proc-gen objective type, but first we need to get this patch on the street to address some of your requests and bug reports. We've remixed SFX, improved barracks tagging, added more lore entries, tweaked how range display works in hovers, improved the visual of where your hacker is in the matrix and done some stunning (lol) re-org of the options screen into tabs. Let's dig in!

If you're enjoying how our team is running Early Access, please take a moment to leave a review. A review now is a big help for us to keep going and remember, you can always edit it later!

Remixed Sec Escalation SFX
We've heard from a number of players that some of the SFX are remixed too loud. We made some changes in an update earlier this week but are back with special focus now on the Sec Escalation SFX that can play at the end of the turn and is way out-of-band too loud. Hopefully this update really pulls it to a better level. Let us know about any SFX issues you have, we're continuing to work to improve!

We've also greatly reduced the intense SFX that was played when you opened the color picking window in appearance. Wow, that was a bit much!

Better Barracks Tagging
With Update #117, we've added a new "Training" tag at the top level of the barracks, letting you know if you have mercs ready to train. We've also fixed a longstanding mistake in counting, where someone recovering from cybernetic surgery would count as -2 Ready Mercs. This has likely been the cause of most of the F10s about bad counting, so we're excited to see this behind us.

Agent EX Signal Graft
We fixed the mistake with Agent EX's Signal Graft Talent which protects you from triggering certain types of security devices. These devices were still giving movement alerts even with the Talent active. Now we've resolved that and if the device won't trigger than you won't get an alert in your movement path.

Journal for D-Cartel
We're continuing to round out the journal lore entries for factions and added the D-Street Cartel, aka the D-Cartel, with this latest update. In addition, the Faction page on the Cyber Knights wiki has been updated with all the latest details from the in-game journal as well.

Matrix Current Node
We fixed two bugs with the recently added Matrix hacking current node selection. First, it always follows you now. It was not accurately following the hacker and second it also follows the hacker being forcefully teleported in the host to another node by either an IC or the Q-Sec Escalation.

Range Clarity
When hovering over a target within 10m we now add an extra decimal value for extra clarity. We were having players see "2m" in the hover and think that they should be in range with their 2m melee weapon but the range is really 2.5m and you're not in range. You can also always check the bottom left corner for helpful values about number of targets in range of your current position or movement destination with either weapon.

Better Options Screen
As the game has gained more and more options, things have become increasingly hard to find. More players have asked when we will add the feature to rebind keys for example :D

So, to help make the big types of options and features clearer, we've split options out into tab groups. I know... breaking huge ground here, what a novel thought, we're the first, it's amazing! ... when the rest of the industry catches up, you can thank us :P

Favor Limit Breaks
We've fixed a few more bugs with Contact Limit Breaks and Favors. We fixed issues where the Power Level Limit Break could lock the screen up, where spending a Favor would sometimes not add a new option and still eat the Favor.

v1.8.33 - 7/28/2024
- Remixed SFX for Sec Level raise and Escalation played often at end of turn
- Added new lore Journal Entries for D-Cartel
- Improved tag set and counting rules for Barracks tags, added "Training" tag
- Fixed issue with double-counting mercs in cybernetic surgery that caused tag counts to be wrong
- Movement alerts for security devices no longer incorrectly appear for Agent EX's Signal Graft Talent
- When showing range in hovers less than 10m, a decimal is added for clarity (2.5m)
- Improved organization of (too long) options menu to be in tabbed groups - Graphics, Sound, Controls, Gameplay
- Fixed issue when selling something worthy of a Favor to a contact with 0 Favors, was incorrectly listed as "1 Favor worth $80K"
- Fixed issue with Contact Limit Break and the Power Level offer
- Fixed overly big SFX when opening appearance color changing window
- Fixed issues where animator selector on current node in Matrix wasn't following hacker or didn't teleport
- Fixed issue where hitting ESC or (B) on Contact Limit Break would leave game locked up
- Improved controller support for start button, preventing it from opening menu in the middle of screens it shouldn't
- Fixed issues with program image appearing for Intrinsic Weapon Mod blueprints

subROV : Underwater Discoveries - sqr3lab
Hi subROVers! 😊

Jose writing -0.7.50 is up in the beta branch. Let's take a quick look:

New Creatures
Here's the Giant Isopod, the great pillbug of the deep ocean,
https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3252041736

And here's the Deepsea Lizardfish, Bathysaurus Ferox, with a slender body and many rows of fine, sharp, needle-like teeth.
https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3289980272

New Wreck
I've added an I-201 class submarine to the Hawaii dive -just a small teaser here:
https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3298609824
Note - I decided to not reset Hawaii's map, which might make it harder to find if you have already mapped the sub's location. If you have trouble finding it, just drop me a line.

Support for Logitech Extreme 3D Pro
A kind player left a positive review even though I know for a fact they bought the game specifically thinking on playing with this joystick, and it didn't work. I owed to them to at least try supporting the joystick asap, and I'm very happy that it's now working.

Bug Fixes
  • Fixed/Dives: Several creatures were being placed twice on the seafloor, which sometimes caused issues that would prevent them from behaving as expected.
Notes
  • IMPORTANT: Just reiterating from the previous versions - It looks like there's been cases when, after updating the game to 0.7.40 and beyond, it starts with a low or incorrect screen resolution -or rather, it detects more options than before, and applies the "index" of the one it had previously selected, which is now wrong. That's my best bet at the moment and I don't know if it's worth forcing a "re-choosing". I'd appreciate it if you'd let me know if it's happened to you, and your thoughts on it.
What's Next?
A serious family emergency in late May has demanded most of my time since, which is forcing me to have to move things around in the schedule. I expect to have this version in Beta for a few short days -a week at most-, then roll it to the default branch (everyone) as a major update, which it really is. Then I'll prioritize the Titanic. The first iteration of the model is finished, and I'll be working on the dive next.

That's all for now -have fun exploring!

PS. I always appreciate reviews, good or bad, but the latest few reviews have meant the world to me, moreso if they came from people playing the regular, non-beta version, which is now quite far behind. Thank you. Thank you so much.
Mini-Market Simulator VR - Rush Games Studio
Added:
  • Windows Mixed Reality Inputs Support
Contingency Plan - Tkonk
Gameplay
  • Added a penalty for flying too far away from the playable area. The ship will take 5 damage straight to health every 3 seconds in the danger zone. There is a clear indication when you are approaching danger and an arrow pointing you to the closest way back into safety.

Scrap
  • Added models for all scrap objects instead of being capsules
  • Removed despawn timers (they now despawn on warp start)
  • Added lens flares to space scrap to be able to see them easier (will be more useful once enemy ships are functional)

QoL
  • Tuned back the ship flight direction particles, it was previously generating way too many particles
  • Made the exit vector waypoint look towards the ship using a different method; should look better and be easier to spot

Planned
  • Enemy ships are currently highest priority
  • Movement stick deadzone settings to be added to the settings menu
  • Settings to Invert certain axes of ship controls
  • Ground enemy improvements

Thanks for playing

Path of Exile - Natalia_GGG

In Path of Exile: Settlers of Kalguur, help Kalguuran pioneers to build the town of Kingsmarch and establish trade between Wraeclast and their homeland.

Our July expansion introduces the Settlers of Kalguur challenge league, a new trade market system for currency, balance improvements including two Ascendancy Class changes, Endgame improvements, some further additions to the Campaign and some Quality of Life features.

The Settlers of Kalguur Challenge League
In the Settlers of Kalguur Challenge League you will encounter some familiar faces from the Expedition league. Dannig, Rog, Tujen and Gwennen are seeking out resources in Wraeclast that can be used to begin town construction and establish a shipping trade route to Kalguur. They have recruited many characters from Wraeclast, including some you may recognise - but are also seeking the help of a powerful Exile, like yourself.

Harness the Resources of Wraeclast
On your adventures you might find minerals such as Crimson Iron, which are veins of Iron that have been overrun with corruption, spawning dangerous foes when you approach. Or perhaps Orichalcum, which you will have to liberate from the demons worshipping it. Petrified Amber attracts mindless Blighted Enemies, while Bismuth has a strong affinity to the elements and causes the area to become unstable. If you’re lucky you might find Verisium, a material as valuable as it is dangerous, and guarded by very powerful foes.

Each of these resources become available once you defeat the enemies guarding it. You’ll then be able to tag the deposit for mining. Now, who’s going to be doing the hard labour?

Manage Kingsmarch
Theopolis wasn't built in a day, and neither will Kingsmarch, but many hands make light work. Head to the town and hire skilled workers who will aid you in mining, smelting, disenchanting, farming and other jobs needed in Kingsmarch. You'll notice each person has their specialties, and a wage cost. It’ll be up to you to hire and fire as you please. Over the course of the league you'll be searching for your perfect employees for each job. Once you have them, you’ll have to keep them paid, safe, and alive.

Establish Trade Routes
Eventually you can build a Harbour and establish a shipping route between a number of different Kalguuran and Karui ports for trade. Pile your acquired resources onto these ships and send them to a port of your choosing, where your traders will haggle for the best deals! Each Port will return specific rewards based on what you send them. When your shipment has returned you’ll get notified, and you can return to the town to collect your rewards at your leisure.

Delegate Map Running
Aside from shipping, the Kalguurans are big on their technology. They have hired Isla, an engineer from the Heist League. Once at Endgame, Isla can help you build a series of Kalguuran-modified Map Devices which you can put a queue of Maps into. If you’ve hired a few skilled combatants, they will put themselves to work running those maps for you one after another.

Benefit from Kalguuran Crafting Techniques
Operated by Dannig himself, a Runesmithing Table is using powerful Kalguuran blacksmithing arts to engrave runic magic onto your weapons. There are many rune-types and combinations to choose from, and you can unlock new crafts that can be applied to your weapons as enchantments.

The Kalguuran tech benefits don’t end there. We’re also bringing back a community-favourite recombination system. Isla is trying to master this, she just needs you to help her with getting resources. While recombination is not entirely the same as it used to be in the Sentinel league, it still allows you to combine two items together, hoping to get the best modifiers of each onto a single item.

Discover a Currency Trade Market
In this expansion we're introducing a Currency Trade Market. The Kalguurans have recruited Faustus, another NPC from the Heist league who is proficient at Black Market trade and shady deals. He allows you to asynchronously buy and sell currency and most other stackable items with other players. All you need to do is select what currency you want, say what you have, and your ideal ratio. Faustus will make the trade happen for you, so long as there is someone selling on the other end for the same rate or less.

Defend What You've Built
As your town grows, it will attract more attention, good and bad. Settlers of Kalguur features three endgame bosses that will close in on your operations, wanting a piece of the pie. They might capture and ransom your workers, even your entire ships. You’ll have to make some tough decisions - will you take them on, or pay them off?

Pledge Your Allegiance to Glory
The Gladiator Ascendancy Class has received its long-awaited rework. Like before there are passive skills that allow you to invest in Bleeding, and Block. We’ve also designed new Skills replacing some of the old ones, and added a new branch which allows you to invest into Retaliation Skills, which are a new type of skill that allows you to unleash devastating damage upon meeting certain conditions in combat.

New Ascendancy: Warden
We're introducing the Warden, a new Ascendancy class that replaces the Raider Ascendancy. This class is largely inspired by its predecessor from the Affliction league, with a few changes. The Warden focuses on Elemental Attacks, grants Barkskin which can be used to mitigate Physical Damage from Hits, and specialises in Tinctures which have been reworked and introduced into the game as a core item type you can find throughout Wraeclast.

Massive Balance Overhaul
In Path of Exile: Settlers of Kalguur, we've done a lot of balance work including drastic alterations to Melee Skills, Block, Rage, Warcries, Banners, Bleed, Impale, added new Base Types to Endgame, buffed Modifiers on Endgame Items, buffed Critical Strike Chances on Weapons and much much more. Check out the full changes in the Path of Exile: Settlers of Kalguur Patch Notes.

Endgame Content Improvements
There are a myriad of changes coming to Endgame in Settlers of Kalguur. We're changing many Scarabs, adding a 6th Map Device Slot, introducing exciting new encounters in Tier 16 and Tier 17 Maps, updating Blight and Ritual in Endgame and more. We've also added a set of new Chisel types and massively increased the drop rate of Valdo's Puzzle Boxes.
