A legend about a mighty, thin warrior named Berg still lives among demons. He was one of the most skilled warriors of his era, and his blade was called Berg's Star. It was a heavy sword that no other demon could lift. Berg fought with it as if the sword were light as a tree branch.
Thanks to this sword, Berg was a real terror for monsters and people. No one could defeat the warrior. But you can't be invincible forever.
During a battle with an army of people, Berg got carried away by the battle and didn't notice how a man named Dendrick appeared behind him. He pierced the heart of the legendary warrior, after which the battle was over. There were too few people to continue the battle, and the demons were demoralized by the death of the legendary warrior.
The next day, a farewell was held for Berg in Brionnfall. He was buried near the steps leading to the capital. The weapon was laid with its owner, for no one else could hold the great sword. It is said that when a worthy warrior appears, the sword will emerge from the grave to serve its new owner.
The heavens are illuminated by flashes of divine light, the bitter roar of the vanquished Abyssal Spawns echoes sweetly through the surroundings. A beautiful figure dances in the circle of the Samsara of rebirth and death - it seems there will be no end to it.
The terrifying might stirs the minds of young Adventurers, instilling in them the desire to understand and embody the path of self-sacrifice, capable of instantly destroying hundreds of mighty creatures.

Now you can play updated demo from Steam page! What changes have been made to the demo version: 1. Slightly adjusted the balance of weapons 2. Adjusted the difficulty of the game (now it has become a little easier to play); 3. Added some new visual effects; 4. Added new animations; 5. and more little tweaks.

We are now 50% through our backlog of Launch Bugs!! While there are a few that will take quite some time to tackle, we are pushing to have all addressable bugs and concerns finished by/before August 1st.
The next patch will include character balance changes, Workshop Fixes, as well as some additional polish and general QoL changes! After that, it's onward to new content 👊

Potential improvements to prevent crashes when in matchmaking for certain users.
Improvements to how the game determines which Region Server is best.
Matchmaking will now properly traverse regions from closest to farthest.
Fixed a bug that would prevent users from traversing all regions during matchmaking.
Fixed a bug that would cause users to end up on the wrong regional server when attempting to enter a Private Room after being in Matchmaking.
Attempting to join a Private Lobby should now properly cancel if a connection issue or timeout has been detected.

Potentially fixed an issue that would cause save files to store incorrect or corrupted data when losing connectivity with Steam.
