Hi everyone, We are ready with a new major update which is a long requested feature: Base Building. See below the details:
ADDITIONS
Base building added. It can be reached via the camp menu. You can now build 1 to 3 bases around the island. They can be upgraded up to level 5. Each level provides different facilities for the hero’s benefit. Hero needs to provide wood, limestone and lots of coins for the upgrades. But it will be worth it.
Facilities include storage, garden, armory, kitchen and alchemy lab.
Garden provides fruits, vegetables, dairy and alchemy ingredients.
Armory provides arrows and repair tools.
Kitchen provides cooked food.
Alchemy lab provides potions.
Facilities also level up with the base, providing more items and storage space.
Hero can rest here freely (and gain well-rested major effect once the base is upgraded to a villa).
Bases can be target to vermin infestation. Hero needs to defend his base. As the base levels up, its defenses increase making it less likely to be attacked.
CHANGES
Changed the camp menu to better organize what can be done from that screen. There is a "Build a base" button and a "Search for reources" button that opens up a new menu for hunting, fishing, foraging and mining.
Level cap is now 60 instead of 50.
Reduced the defense of high level epic and champion monsters because of the new level cap.
Draught ring's side effect was overpowered and was making too much lightning damage to the wearer.
Talent stone cards are now visible when character screen is opened.
Hero will find more ingredients while foraging.
Reduced the probability of monster spawning while chopping trees and mining rocks from 50% to 25%.
Well-rested major effect now lasts for 3 days and it gives +0.1 stamina regen as well as +10% max health and max stamina.
Changed the sentence at the adventurer's guild's guild keeper menu from "Rest for 8 hours" to "Rest comfortably 8 hours" to remind that resting at Adventurer's guild always gives well-rested major effect.
FIXES
Fixed a bug where hero was not able to read 500 lore books because of excessive food consumption.
Fixed a rare bug where adventurer's guild quest may come at the same position with a library quest.
DLSS and FSR, as well as their settings in the start menu

Audio configuration that allows changing audio device (volume modification pending)
Inspection (with the N key, the key to turn on the flashlight is now L)

Doors with replicated physics: They can be closed with the action button (F)
New SV8 sniper rifle: It has an integrated scope that allows you to accurately hit long shots
Universal magazines for all weapons: In addition to the fact that you can carry 5 useful magazines for any of the weapons you use the most, they allow you to adapt the gameplay to another level. Be careful, as you might forget to reload your other weapon and you won't have any magazines to make up for it.
Backpack: An item spawner that recharges automatically over time. Allows you to regenerate health, spawn weapons and ammunition at the cost of energy

Physics Hit System: Objects that have active physics can hit the player and deal damage.
Recreated and improved the AR142 model
Fixed:
The interaction point of the menus within the games is now shown
Graphics settings are now saved
Player items bugged when physics were activated and the player died
The player can now climb on top of objects with physics
Here is the list of the fixes: -The crash problem occurring during wall demolition has been fixed. -The issue with the screws in the windows during demolish tasks has been resolved. -The visual bug appearing when purchasing paint in the store has been fixed. -The issue with the glass material of the two windows not changing has been fixed. -The bug occurring when packaging an item with the lamp switch in connection mode has been fixed. -Some issues with the stair railing have been fixed. -The bug in the company image selection screen has been fixed. -The UI for the company name change screen has been updated, and a fee has been added. -Fixed nail outline not appearing for new door/windows. -The light intensity of the ceiling lights has been adjusted. -The visual bug that appeared when doors were inverted has been fixed. -Fixed pushing cars while carrying some items.
The biggest Travellers Rest update (yet) is now available! This new update adds a new introduction to the game's story, a new tutorial, a new skill tree and a new area in the game's map: the city, a place filled with new characters and things to do.

Story introduction
Immerse yourself in the history of Rilia and discover the backstory of Rygar, the first Tavern Keeper King, with a brand new narrated introduction. Uncover secrets and embark on your adventure as an innkeeper of the realm.
New tutorial
The new tutorial will teach new players all the game's mechanics. And you won’t be alone! Mai, the boggart, will accompany you through the new tutorial and help you take your first steps. Listen to her advice, and soon you’ll hit the ground running!
Visit the city
The world of Travellers Rest grows further, giving you access to the city. There you’ll meet new people and shops, as well as three new businesses run by multifarious characters. Explore every corner to find the best products!
New skill tree
The skill tree has been revamped, with a much more streamlined progression system. Invest your points wisely and turn your character into the best innkeeper in the kingdom!
The postbox has changed
With the city opening its gates, the postbox has changed its function. From now on, you'll be able to receive letters from some characters, and new features will be added in the future.
Other additions and improvements
We’ve also added a variety of new recipes and made adjustments to the old ones. Craft new beverages and mix them at your cocktail table!

Over 4 years post-launch, and new updates are still coming! The Gauntlet Update adds:
Endless Gauntlet mode: The 2nd tournament of each single-player league is now a series of 30 enemies with no healing. Each opponent defeated grants increased coin rewards.
We’ve just introduced a new feature to the game: difficulty level customization!
In this new menu, you can customize numerous gameplay parameters and tailor the playing experience to exactly your liking! Not a big fan of avalanches? Turn them off. Annoyed by short building ranges? Expand them! Enjoy the game in a way that works for you :)
Also, a “side effect” of adding this menu is the ability to see what exactly changes based on a difficulty level. If you want to dig deep, you can see all the numbers and modifiers that are affecting your playthroughs.
New challenges
We’ve also added two new challenges: Peace and Profit and Ultimate Insight, both on two brand new (albeit small) mountains that can also be played on in Creative mode. They will also make an appearance in a different game mode in the future, but it’s too early to talk about that! :)
The Peace and Profit challenge forces you to get the most out of the fertile and rivers-rich mountain called Rivergreen Knoll. In this challenge, you need to achieve a highly positive money balance, but Donations Spots are not available! So, it’s all about exporting what you can.
The Ultimate Insight challenge on the other hand is focused solely on Monks and getting to the high research levels. The mountain for this challenge, The Enclave, offers the perfect spots for building astounding monastery complexes… but not much more. Also, this challenge has a little twist: you have a fixed number of Lowlanders and Artisans at the start and you cannot increase their population - you have to use this workforce in a most efficient way!
