The upcoming major update "Legacy of Kings" (name pending) is not too far from being finished! It's now feature complete (which means we won't be adding any more big features) and we're busy polishing and balancing it.

"What sort of magick is this?!" Not magick, but Spirits — they occupy a tile, and if you were to build on top of it, you will reap the Spirit's powerful bonuses. These range from an extra card slot for your hand to, our favorite, making the tile you've just placed cost 0 gold! We hope that they'll make the map more 'tactile' and provide extra initiative to expand your Kingdom's premises!
"What sort of unholy Necromancy is this?!!" Hold off your accusations, good sirs and madams! This one's a good kind of resurrection! The one to help you overcome a wall, instead of crumbling under the crushing weight of defeat. As we make the game more and more complex, introduce new devious ambushes, branching event choices and, frankly, a little bit of chain jerking — you might find yourself losing a mission or two. Well, now this just doesn't mean that you'll be forced to abandon your run. Because we believe in you, and sometimes all you need is just a 2nd chance! At a fair price, of course.
However, this is just a tip of the proverbial iceberg in terms of just how much we've included in this update. Don't worry, the core gameplay loop of fending off ORX and getting more powerful remains intact. We just added dimensions to it! Hopefully, you now see why we didn't release these changes as separate, smaller updates. It just wouldn't make sense nor feel coherent. We employ you to bear the wait juuust a little longer, as we aim to release this update in about 20 or so days!

We have a nice update for today with some requested features and fixes.
Click counter now saves on close and reopen of the game. (NOTE: It will not start saving the count until after you update unfortunately).
You can now change the background color in the options menu.
Can also change window border color in the options menu.
Fixed a bug with the options menu being jerky when opening and off-center on fullscreen.
Complete UI overhaul of options menu with scrolling. Will be more important as I add more features to the options menu.
Added the ability to make 2D avocados rotate as well, will make more sense when I implement the fruit ninja slicing animation to chop them up when you click. Or maybe it will make less sense... hard to tell :P
I am planning over the next few days to shift the drop system to be a little more diverse, consistent, and drop more frequently without over saturating the Steam market. We will see how it goes.

Today we will introduce you to another interesting character from our game - a cheeky and dangerous sparrow named Pogg!
Pogg is very similar to Urus in his character traits and behaviour. But while Urus used manipulation, lies and persuasion to achieve his goals, Pogg, on the other hand, always went straight ahead and used the right of the strong. Of course, the villagers tried their best to stop the young sparrow's attempts at banditry, but, alas, they were not always successful. Nevertheless, Pogg realised that it would be more and more difficult to continue to carry out his deeds alone, so he needed a gang of his own. One thing Pogg hadn't taken into account was that he couldn't count on honest and loyal friendship among scumbag kids like himself. For the power the others gave him over them, they got nothing in return. Sparrow took all the laurels and honours for himself, leaving not a penny for his team, and in time it became clear that there were no prospects in this gang. But, unfortunately, it was too late to leave, for all of them had acquired a bad reputation in the village, they were neither accepted nor respected, and it was impossible to go anywhere but to Pogg's gang.
Every year Pogg grew greedier and greedier. One day Varya, the sister of Richard and Urus, caught his eye. Looking at her as an object of possession, Pogg wanted to take her for himself and began to devise a plan to capture the dove. From that moment on, a very uneasy relationship began between Varya's family and Pogg.
