I Am Planning To Add More To The Support And Make It More Refined.
As Of Now I Do Realize That The Camera Sensitivity For The Controller Is A Little Weird. I Will Probably Do A Couple Fixes To It.
There Are Now Controller Feedback Like Vibrations When You Do Stuff If Your Playing On Controller. Even Though Most Of The Controls Are Not Listed In The Settings Menu In The Next Patch They Will Most Likely Be Added.
Anyway, Controllers Are Now Supported With Some Vibration, But Only In Normal Mode And The Controllers Do Not Have Support For Menus Or UI Yet.
Hi! Our first drop is now out! It features a lot of new ducks our artists designed. There's a new rarity called Divine and with that a first divine duck - Galactic Duck that is full animated!
There are also some questions about the future of the game we received and wanted to share some more insight.
What will be the next update?
Next update will probably be a smaller one that will feature a craft event. Players will be able to obtain some craft-only ducks for a limited time!
What's next in the future?
Next we plan a big overhaul of the game. That also involves changing the game engine because we feel like Unity is limiting our design. As we said. We want there to be more to the game than just clicking and that is why we will be taking the whole game to Unreal Engine 5 as soon as possible, so there is less to port than in a couple of months.
What about the performance?
We will ensure that the performance will stay as good as possible, but the game will probably be a little more demanding than previously. In our opinion this is a good trade off. We get a lot more features to play with and can ensure the longevity of the game, and at the same time, sacrificing little to nothing.
Is this an "NFT scam"?
We get this comment a lot. Our reviews balance around Mostly Negative to Mixed. This truly breaks our hearts and the team thinks we should've waited with the release longer, so there would be more unique features. The game is out now though, so there is nothing we can do apart from apologize to those who expected more and ask to wait a little longer. As we said multiple times. There is a lot to come, and with that...
What will be the new features planned for the future?
Not to spoil too much, but we will be reworking the crafting system. It will now revolve around 3 classes that each player will be able to choose from. Those classes will each have unique ways of buffing your regular duck drops. You will also be able to trade with other classes so you could benefit from their buffs. Each class will have 10 levels that will unlock new recipes and items the further you progress. We will also be adding some minor features like being able to change the duck that displays in game, some click effects and full clicker mechanics (auto-clickers etc.)
To wrap things up
We are truly thankful for this amazing first week of our game. Of course there are some not so amazing things that happened, but the team is really in good spirits and we are motivated to work more on the game, so you can see our true vision of the project. We can't wait to show you more features and most importantly even more... cute... DUCKS!
