I was able to grab a Steam Deck during this last Steam sale. Moon Raider, as expected, runs really well on the Steam Deck. It is also on Switch, but that version is published by a different company. This version I control, which means it has the control map I'd intended for players to use. It also runs at twice the frame rate as the console ports. It is, in my opinion, the best version of the game.
Unfortunately, I'm not yet invited to the Deck Verified program. As soon as that is available to me, I will submit the game.
This game is a work that I have personally created intermittently for over a year.
Intermittent is because I have to work to make a living, but even so, 'Split Personality Doctor' has poured my heart and soul into it.
At present, there are not many levels (patients) in the game. In addition to limited personal time and energy, creative workshops are actually a major supplementary source for levels.
Is the game not considered a masterpiece, and even excellent is barely acceptable? But playing for about 10 hours is still not a problem, if there are some mods, it would be great value.
If you find any bugs, you can provide feedback in the community, and I will fix them as soon as possible.
It has been awhile since the last update, and a new one is coming.
The new update will bring a new mode that is replacing the "Hold it" Gamemode. No work was ever done on hold it just an idea of how it would work. I thought about the work that would have to go into implementing it and decided to scrap it. Instead there will be a new gamemode called 1v1 where you guessed it you 1v1 people. You will be in a small arena with a glock and shotgun!
LOCALISATION
Also coming in the next update is localisation, don't speak english? Not a problem, next update will add different languages to choose from. Their implementation might be a little rough but hey at least their there!
