Our weekly update and bug fixes are now live. Characters talk with words and are animated. Chapter one, level one is bigger which should make it easier and less likely to run out moves and shuffle.
As promised, the first patch for our debut game demo is live now! Thank you for your patience as we've been working to fix many bugs and implementing as much community feedback as possible.

Fixed issue where the player couldn't switch to the fire rune
Fixed missing actors and breaking quests (dummies, potions, chests, etc.)
Fixed notes respawning after being picked up
Fixed loading trigger range for NPCs
Fixed enemies that spawned before the Smell of Smoke quest
Fixed a bunch of missing or collision related issues, gaps, and z-fighting
Fixed interactable distance for chests and health potions
Fixed tutorial message videos not playing
Fixed tutorial popup disabling option

Reduced amount of unnecessary blocking volumes for exploration
Opened up an area of Mossborough that was previously blocked
More chests throughout the world
Blocking volumes no longer block the player camera

1. The game will be available for payment within the next month or so, but the product cost will not be very high. 2. The fee does not affect players who have already downloaded the game. 3. In order to ensure that updates, new content, and bug fixes continue to be provided to the game, the author needs a steady stream of income from selling the game. 4. Through the charging model, more resources will be invested in game optimization and testing to ensure the stability and fluency of the game. 5. By charging, the author can better protect the copyright and intellectual property rights of the game, prevent piracy and illegal distribution, and ensure that the author's efforts are duly respected and rewarded. 6. I want to attract people who really love the game and are willing to invest in it. The paid model helps me better understand and meet the needs of my core players. About the developer
I'm @isikdev - an Unreal Engine developer & enthusiast. I love creating immersive & fun stuff. I've been working with Unreal for ~5 years and I finally decided to publish a game on Steam. Thus, Void Scavengers was born.
What kind of game is Void Scavengers?
Void Scavengers is a sci-fi co-op horror game about exploring and doing objectives in abandoned, procedurally generated space stations.
You can play solo, or with your crew (up to 4 members)! You'll use your terminal to find missions nearby and complete them. With each mission, you'll earn money which you can use to upgrade your items/passive abilities and purchase cosmetics.
Current state of the game
Void Scavengers is still in early development, but coming in hot and strong! Most functionality is in place and I'm constantly working on polishing and adding additional content, trying my best to get the game ready for EA. I cannot wait to share more progress with you!
