Hello after a short break! I'm back with another update aimed at improving the consistency of the ladder during spawning.

• Improved ladder consistency.
  The ladder will now rotate much less and should no longer twist uncontrollably upon spawning.
  
  
• Slightly increased the jump HEIGHT when the player is at normal size.
  This helps solve the issue of some jumps requiring pixel-perfect precision or being inconsistent.
  
  
• Slightly extended and thickened the zone needed to pick up the ladder.
  In other words, it should be easier to grab it now.
  
  
• The character has been moved forward by a few units (visual only).
  This gives the player better control and awareness of whether they jumped too early or too late.
  
  
• Adjusted the size and angle of some rocks to achieve greater consistency when landing the ladder.
  
  
• Smoothed out distance restart.
  The camera will now smoothly return to the default position if the player moves.
  
  
• Camera restart will no longer activate when the player makes micro-movements.
  
  
• Fixed a bug that caused particle effects not to appear when spawning the ladder in space.

Hello everyone! Today I am opening a public beta for everyone to try. I'm adding a brand new gamemode "Sandbox Mode" where you can spawn in (almost) all types of Asteroids that you own in your inventory and play around with the game! This mode will be expanded throughout updates and I hope to improve the game even more!

3. Choose "Public Beta" and done-zo!

Howdy everybody! I hope your week was good. Mine was, despite the sweltering heat that persists where I live. Getting the 4th of July off was a real boon as I was able to get a good amount of work done that day, ahead of the weekend. It let me begin mapping out a new area, the Shrouded Institute.




This hidden school is located deep within the Rotten Grove. No one alive knows when it was established, but it’s halls are most certainly abandoned now… Aside from a single resident.




The main antagonist of this quest Dorothy Duvelle is a former alumni of this dark school. Her twisted personality is a result of her delving too deeply in shadowy arts. The institute is now her den and these decrepit halls feel as though they are watching your every move…




I have a set of character portraits for Dorothy available now for my $5+ patrons. Check them out if you’re curious to view more of this twisted witch. Just don’t blame me if it turns out to be too freaky for your liking!

Additions:
- Terrain advantages. Mechs now have advantage or disadvantage on certain terrain blocks. This creates more strategy opportunities when playing, as having advantage will increase your stats considerably.
- Drop system. From time to time an item box will drop on the map. Get it to receive items like grenades, bots or even an increase on your max life.
- Added bots to the game. Frog, a turret like bot that you can activate on any part of the map and, Owl, a flying bot that follows you where you go. Bots can help you to deal with quacks and you can get them from powering up or drops.

Fixes and changes:
- Changed impact grenade icon to better suit this item.
- Increased power up menu to show 4 options, instead of 3.
- Performance tweaks.
- Increased font size for power up menu.
- Rebalanced spawn system.
- Small fixes in ui behavior

Update

• Updated the sound volume for the demonologist
  
• Updated lead weights to only have a positive.

Bugs

• Fixed a bug where the tooltips for zombies and monsters were expanding too much and hiding parts of the UI.
  
• Fixed a bug where text wouldn’t display chinese characters on the rewards panel.
  
• Fixed a translation issue with the meta progression board.
  
• Fixed a bug where the bushes that blow in the wind had spare bushes behind them…

Balance

• Updated the demon beatle. He now hits harder and has more hp and endurance.
  
• Updated the bell demon. He is now much luckier.
  
• Updated the Tall Hand Demon. He now hits much harder.
  
• Updated the Final Sin. he is now lucky, and has some endurance. He also hits harder
  
• Updated Pained Thoughts. He is now more dodgy and has some endurance.
  
• Updated the Cultist. He now casts spells much much faster.

In addition, based on all the new users who are using Chinese, I will get a professional localization created in the near future.

Quick fix due to a manual build deployment messing up the files.

Surviving the Apocalypse Is More Fun When There’s Sex is scheduled to release into Early Access in a little over a week. The Early Access build has been uploaded and approved, which means the planned release date should be met.

The story has been continued from the demo, with much more dialogue, scenes, and animations. Additionally, the dialogue from the demo has been changed, and there is an additional animation. If you played the demo, I recommend starting again due to the changed dialogue, the additional animation, and the ability to get the achievements. This means the demo has been deactivated as it no longer accurately represents the state of the project.

As this game will be released as Early Access, there will be added content provided in the form of updates over the coming months. It also means that some content is subject to change depending on feedback. As I have previously mentioned, I have been adding screenshots showing snippets of the added content, so have a look if you're interested.
