Cyber Knights: Flashpoint - Trese Brothers

The New Boston zone truly never sleeps - utterly covered in the protective dome, its day and night cycles are primarily simulated and controlled district-by-district. So, it's always Update Time somewhere! With tonight's update we have a new room in the safehouse (aha, sweet competition for space!), improved value of Contact Trust, another round of polish for the Steam Deck experience, and a rapid fix for suddenly disappearing DisplayLink cybernetics.

New Safehouse Room: Triage Clinic
The Triage Clinic is a boon for merc squads that like to go loud, always find the heist ending in a fire fight or just love hunting for those battle striker missions. Whoever comes home shot up and bloody goes straight into the triage clinic, and while it is not medical ward at one of your Street Docs or Corp Splicer's clinic, immediate treatment and stabilization can help both reduce Injury Time and increase the chance of resisting long-lasting Wounds from developing.

The starting Triage Clinic reduces Injury Time by 25% and grants a +10% Wound Res to all rolls to resist wounds at the end of a mission.


Trusty Favors
As we continue to push on the strategy layer and your Contact connections, we've boosted the value that Trust has on your Contacts favors, nearly doubling it. Work with those you Trust and when they do something nice for you, it will be bigger and there will be more cred in it for you.


Steam Deck Improvements
With this update we've improved how the (X) button is handled in the matrix to make a more clear and useful loop between the parts of the HUD. Also, we fixed an issue when using (X) that would cause the currently active element to get stuck if the first Talent in your list was disabled. Now it will skip to the first enabled Talent or just skip Talents altogether and jump to End Turn.


Disappearing DisplayLink
With the last update, we accidentally made all DisplayLink cybernetics disappear. They have returned! Sorry for the short and sudden removal ... I bet that hurt. Here, want them back? That might hurt too!

Other UI Bugs
We've also fixed a number of minor UI issues reported with F10s - places where clicking with a mouse wasn't working in the dialog screens and places where the UI was overlapping in victory screens.

Also, upgrading Agent EX White Noise Talent no longer benefits Marker Sights (what?!)

Gameplay:

  • Reworked player management for class selection (coming in future patch)
  • Fixed the balance of chest type spawning randomization
  • Adjusted the way the game counts your current items for scalability
  • Fixed item damage calculation to be more consistent
  • Swift feather now affects vertical speed
  • Swift feather now affects boost and dash abilities
  • Removed old enemy spawners
  • Scaled down the sub boss weak points
  • For every second that you activate the boss before the time runs out, you will gain $1/$2/$3 depending on the area
  • Changed the archer’s burst arrow angles
  • Reduced all archer arrows’ homing speeds
  • Mages’ flamethrower attack will stop firing if killed

Settings:

  • Added higher resolution options for displays that support it
  • Added an option to show frames per second

Quality of Life:

  • Added an indicator for when you can’t buy a chest
  • Added rarity colors for chest item selection
  • Numbers in chest item selection descriptions are now a different color
  • Enemy health bars will no longer display if they are at full health
  • Added mage footstep sound effects
  • Added mage flamethrower sound effects
  • Fixed visual bugs in boss intros
  • After defeating the area’s boss, lingering enemy attacks will not damage the player
  • Added audio for enemy damage indicators
  • Slightly reworked the scope animation

Hello everyone!

We're bringing you another series of community gamenight events, but this time on both Zombie Panic 1 and Zombie Panic! Source on July 6th and 13rd. We're partnering with LambdaGeneration platform who will be hosting and streaming the 'Zombie Night Month' where every Saturday of July there will be a gamenight event with the community in a different zombie game - first two focused on ZP1 and ZPS!



Event will start on those timezones and IP above - July 6th on Zombie Panic 1 and then July 13th on ZPS!

Just like last time, Pikouchu will be providing the Zombie Panic's dedicated servers for us! If this is your first time playing ZP1 or someone who forgot how to set up the mod, Pikouchu created a quick guide just for you! Gameplay
  • 52 new algorithmically generated encounters have been added to the campaign. These will be unlocked in the XP Rewards track.
  • Added new encounter abilities that can apply to both player and enemy.
XP Rewards track
  • Algorithmically Encounters can now be unlocked in the player xp track. You will unlock two encounters at a time. These will then have the chance to appear when you start a new campaign. These encounters have a selection of powers that can be chosen from each time you fight them.
  • Deck Enhancements can also now be unlocked in the xp track. You will unlock new upgrades that will be available when you start a new campaign.
  • Set 2 decks are now easier to unlock on XP track. Set 3 decks have also been added to the Player XP track for free unlock.
UI
  • Menu updated to reflect The Last Winter Launch
  • Shop menu updated, prices now show on the Buy button rather than the side tab.
  • Tournaments button redirects to the solforge website events page. Click to see and join our upcoming events!
Bugfixes
  • Dragonwake has been fixed. You will now see each option for levels 2 and 3 separated out.
  • Deepfrost Hills now gives the opposing creature Defender instead of itself.
  • Enhanced Cacklebones no longer destroys itself but the creature it deals damage to.
  • Set 3 Cercee level 3 Soul Swap works.

A sneaky annoying bug snuck in, where buildings remained in a limbo state and not finish properly after saving and loading. This fix will ensure that those buildings get finished and the bug no longer occurs :)
