Here are additional details of the Vanguard Princess mobile fighting game as of July 3, 2023:

Gunpowder Cocktail - Chapter 1 - ByteHog Prime
Hey! I am here with news, albeit with a little delay(but I had my reasons ːsteamsadː).

Firstly, this new update will be a long one. So I want to share the content sheet that roughly shows its events. You can also see which characters will be included in the update here.



As you can see from the plan, this will be an update focused on Hazel. But Sophie also has an event ːsteamhappyː

As for progress, I have some extra work to do in this update. Not only the renders and the script, I also have a few new features, new locations and mini-games to add.

Here is another chart showing what needs to be done and progress.



Obviously the hardest thing to do in terms of coding was the Phone and Messaging System, and that's done. This system will play an important role in the new update. Here's a preview.

Appreciate the player who posted recently in our bug-reports channel. We made a small update to the demo to fix the following below.

  • Fixed the missing sprites in Chapter 3.
  • Fixed the missing sprites in Chapter 4.
  • Reworked the audio mixer.

We're aware of the issues currently being experienced by Steam Deck users and we're in the process of fixing this issue Please join our Discord server and relay any specific details you've seen to the Dev team over at our Bug Report Channel.

The extra cool news is that because we want to make a good impression at the showcase, we've been fixing a few small bugs and adding a little bit of new content to the demo you're all familiar with! Redoir now has a multiple-step quest for you to complete, and we'll be releasing that demo early next week too, so you can all have a play and tell us your thoughts!

This is our first (and very basic, work in progress) attempt at what we hope will become a much bigger part of the game, where customers don't always just come looking for one thing and then that's it - what you sell them forms part of a small story or affects their life, or brings some humour and context to the next time they come to your little shop!

Hi everyone!

This is just a quick announcement that the extended time period for the demo's availability will end on July 12th. As such, we want to let everyone know they should try the demo now if you intend on playing it, as it will removed after that date.

The reason for this is that going into Early Access (and even now in a pre-launch state), we have made and continue to make significant improvements to the game (especially from a QoL standpoint), and do not want to leave up a demo which is not reflective of the full game.

As a reminder, we are still launching on July 23rd!! Mark your calendars! Leading up to the launch we will have a countdown to remind everyone, and we'll have some other surprises to reveal. See you then and thank you all again! Your feedback for the demo has been instrumental in delivering numerous improvements and fixes for our upcoming launch.
