This is our very first update to Anchored Hearts, and we're patching a bunch of little bugs! Arrr!

- Fixed a bug where the player could LMB mash the battle fire button very fast and cause it to not fire again until un- and re-hovered
- Tweaked up cannonball speeds to avoid them being too fast or too slow at either end
- Fixed a (harmless) crew rehire bug where finishing with less crew than you started with could cause negative numbers on the rehire UI
- Bird tweak to flapping pattern
- Tweaked nav recenter speed to make it less vertigo-inducing, it's snappy now, also increased manual scroll speed, and fixed a tiny bug where recentering to the start would not disable the back scroll button
- Fixed character fade animation playing when it ought not to at the end of story scenes which finish with a narrator line
- Fixed a Battle tutorial typo
- Nav tutorial updated slightly because the Shipyard exists and Boons can be bought at sea (how did we ever live without these features 😭)
- Romance music wasn't set to return to town music on a specific romance choice with Xander, now it does
- Desktop icon has finally been fixed (you won't believe how long it took to figure out the problem and it was so easy in the end!)
- Little Dialogue fixes such as making a different background appear and a typo

The Garden Path is a place of your own to play and wander in! You choose how to spend your time, whether that be wandering around harvesting plants, finding new spots to songfish, or just chatting with a new friendly face.

You won’t be left without direction, and the Garden gently nudges you towards how to use tools. But afterwards, you’ll need to put your best boots on and grab gardening by the reins (or by the trowel). How the game unfurls is up to you. There are no continuous linear quest lines or main narrative throughline, though there are plenty of delightful characters to meet and chat with.

The Garden Path offers a more meandering and flexible play, than a directed journey. Take your time tinkering with systems. Let curiosity and instinct guide you. Plant whatever strikes your whimsy, like a beautifully curated rose garden or if the impulse strikes, a wild chaos garden. Or perhaps just slowly stroll past the lakes and underbrush, listening to the sounds of birds.




Meant to be a companion to your daily life, The Garden Path can’t be finished in one giant bite. Stop by whenever the urge strikes to see how things have changed since your last visit!

As time progresses in the real world, so does time in the Garden. You will have an opportunity to set the clock in-game, choosing how many hours behind or ahead of real-time it’s set at. You can only do this once, though! While you’re away, new plants will have sprouted and different merchants will roam to and fro.




After a long day at work, make a pot of tea, and come back to the Garden to relax or to reflect. If it’s a nice summer day, perhaps take the game outdoors on your Nintendo Switch on the porch or in a park. The game can be cozy and full of mirthful charm, but there is a melancholic and nostalgic patina present, much like a rainy day or the static whirring of a slightly damaged cassette tape. The Garden is a place in which you have the flexibility to shape, but it also grows alongside you over time - and perhaps, can surprise you with a secret or two.

Visit another piece of F1® history until July 17th, with a special one-race Scenario challenge based on Alonso’s spectacular victory at the 2011 British Grand Prix. Recreate that remarkable day at Silverstone and conquer Fernando’s rivals, but this time in his modern day Aston Martin machine. Just as he did back in 2011, you’ll need to overcome the faster Red Bulls who are dominating the season, and do so in tricky changeable conditions where the driver can truly make the difference. Pull it off and your reward will include the “Electric Lime” livery, suit, gloves, and helmet, plus Aston Martin stickers for the Compendium.

Especially interesting part about this room is how it was made. The author says the room was started in august 2023 and completed in june 2024, though with intermittent month-long breaks.
