Fae Farm - jhood

Attention all Fae Friends, new update available! We want to make sure that your Fae Farm experience is as smooth as possible, so we’ve sent out a general update today. Please read more for full details on what you can expect from our newest patch:

SKIES OF AZORIA
  • Fixed a bug where players who completed an Act of the Skies of Azoria quest line on the last couple of days of a season would not receive the letter to start the next Act. Affected players should sleep once after updating and check their mailbox for the letter they need to continue.
Thank You
We want to give a great big thank you all to the amazing people who submitted bug reports and are able to help us pinpoint these issues. If you spot any issues, please update us through our main support page.

You can also join us on Twitter, Discord, Instagram and TikTok to share your experience with us in Azoria.
We’ll see you in-game!

Zofia - Dave@74Ninjas
This is an update with some progress towards what we brought up in the last dev talk:

Additions:
- Possessed armors, ghosts, and some other humanoid variants now have a 'stagger' health where they will be staggered after a certain amount of hits, dependent on weapon/element type being used
- In some cases. humanoid melee enemies will attempt to clamber onto objects if the player is on something unreachable
- Depending on the attack, humanoid melee enemies may attempt to step forward when attacking to close in the distance while striking
- Added additional attacks for some enemies
- Added some new equipment that can be found within levels

- Updates to third person camera:

The camera can now be rotated 360 degrees around the player. Doing an action like blocking or attacking will turn your character towards the camera direction.

- Improved QuickSelect and UI:

Previously the inventory menu was split with the items on the left and the equipment view on the right - They've now been combined as there were monitor scaling issues that would cause them to overlap, and to make room for the expanded keyboard+mouse quick select.

- When playing on keyboard+mouse, the quick select now will allow you to have 7 items selectable (up from 3). If playing on gamepad, it will still use the original 3 item selector.

Fixes:
- Wood and stone magic has slightly more particles
- Updated animation rig and a few animations
- Added a blocking volume to the Abyss as you could see outside the map when spawning
- Looking downwards as an Otter should no longer clip
- Otter Sprint should no longer clip floor
- Otters now have less jitter in some animations
- Fixed bathtub collision
- Fixed a bug where the player would sometimes jump if shot with a rifle or arrow
- Added a slight difficulty adjustment to give a ~30% chance of gun/sword armor variants to spawn (instead of a sword wielding armor) when playing at default difficulty (Previously it was 0%)
- Added a slight difficulty adjustment to give a ~30% chance of a rifleman variant to spawn (instead of an archer) when playing at default difficulty (Previously it was 0%)
- Increased chances of grenadiers, ice knights, and regenerating knights to spawn when there are additional players
- Fixed a UI bug where it would slightly resize when switching tabs
- UI should now remember if you were using a keyboard+mouse or a gamepad previously when you load into a level
- Made some minor level changes
- Fixed a minor sound bug

Unknown FPV: FPV Drone Simulator Playtest - pipirssolutionsab
  • Updated foliage with impostors.
  • Finetuned the landscape density of actors to improve performance.
  • Added football goal.
  • Increased area size.
Train World - Dmytro
The biomes and vegetation update cycle begins. I've updated the data structure and increased the number of biomes represented in the game. At this time changes will be minor. This first step will allow me to introduce new trees and vegetation to the biomes without map updates. Older maps will be updated with time and their appearance may change significantly. All of this will not influence previous save files. These changes will be purely visual.

New trains were added in today's update:
  • J Class is a powerful steam locomotive that bridges the gap between Big Boy and less powerful steam locomotives in the second era
  • NRE 3GS is a diesel locomotive with moderate power that will be very useful in the late game for routes that do not have a lot of cargo capacity
  • ACS 64 is a powerful electric locomotive that has been requested for some time now and will be equally useful for passenger and freight operations
  • Avelia Liberty will be the pinnacle of the US train tree. With a maximum speed of 350 km/h, this train brings the US into the era of high-speed trains
Today's update also has one new map. Aurelia Atoll has an exciting donut-like shape with 2 ports. I hope this will be a welcome addition, especially for people who like to play on the smaller maps.

In recent weeks, I focused on quality-of-life features, improvements to existing functionality, bug fixes, and adding requested features.

Here is a list of some of the changes:
  • Reputation reworked
  • Updated signals placement logic
  • Replace panel wagon/locomotive selection logic updated
  • Improved parallel rail construction
  • Improved Load panel opening speed
  • Improved Load panel opening speed
  • New Game UI reworked
  • Alco PA/PB locomotives were replaced with EMD F7 A/B
  • Added ability to assign color groups to trains
  • Added floating text on maintenance and delivery payments
  • Follow camera movement logic updated
  • A lot of bug fixes
As for the future, I’ll continue working on biome updates, address train placement quirks (trains jump sometimes), and implement new features and content

Thank you for your interest in the project and your support.
