Crossedland - Tasteful Soup
Greetings participants,

It's been three years and I can't believe I'm finally releasing Crossedland to the world (in early access at least). I'm incredibly excited and incredibly nervous. I hope you all love it as much as I loved working on it (and still love working on it, I'm obsessed, send help).

Without further ado, here are the most recent patch notes for a hefty patch:

Arenas:
• New arena type. Scavenger Hunt. It will function similarly to the gathering arenas with the same time penalties, however, there will be a random item to find in the arena. If you find it, you get a huge boost to your arena score and favor. It also can be placed as furniture. Some of them are neat and quite valuable
• Sometimes flamethrowers
• Added three new time penalties to the arena. Stalker, Eraser, and Orbital Assault
• Gravity anomalies and meteor showers can now occur in tier 1 arenas, too

Enemies:
• New enemies that search for and gather resources. After gathering so much they’ll book it to the portal and try to escape, so keep an eye out for them!
• Big Steve can no longer be stunned
• Big Steve has cooler animations now and different attacks
• Shaun’s minions hit for less damage but Shaun’s melee is increased
• Added some worn armor that’s easier to find on enemies
• Enemies can now hear each other

Mechanics:
• You can no longer go into arenas with items in your inventory. Only equipped items and items on the hotbar will be allowed to enter
• Added equipment slots for tools
• Medical supplies now cap out at 5 in a stack, everything else remains the same

Abilities and Skills:
• Added athletic skill you can raise by running around, special attacks, and swimming
• Added ability learned at 40 athletic that keeps you from being slowed by the environment

Crafting:
• Added crafting fire arrows and a few sword upgrades. Roland can have the book that teaches the recipes.
• Campfire and smelter now starts with 10 fuel to better align with crafting recipe

Furniture:
• Added stone and wooden paths to build on the island

Vendors:
• Added bulk item trader named Jack to the Hub. He sells basic resources in larger quantities and ponders the mysteries of the universe. He can be found across from the restaurant

Quality of Life:
• Added auto-sort to chests that automatically puts items in the chest from your inventory if it already contains them
• Quest tracking fully functional
• Added unstuck ability while on your island. Holding escape for 5 seconds will save and reload
• Magnet upgrade now also pulls logs to you for science reasons
• The hub now has a small training area with dummies to beat on and raise your skills up to 10
• Leelu now has informational icons in her store and armor will now show a small circle of color in the bottom right to show what color it is
• Added sell all junk button to vendors
• Marked junk items as junk and slightly increased their value
• Everything is now accessed through the single console instead of having separate portals
• Added keyring to hold keys instead of them taking up space in the inventory
• Can now check requirements for next rank in inventory window
• Added a warning system for when you are close to a hazard like gravity anomalies
• Added autorun
• You can now continue sprinting when you run out of stamina. It’s a slower speed than full sprint but faster than normal running
• Added audio options to settings in main menu
• Added controls menu to pause menu

Changes to Mechanics:
• Gameshow tickets can now be found and used to get guaranteed gameshows on the console. They can still happen randomly, too, but the frequency has been reduced. They can be found in chests, from humans and elvar, and Roland and Keela have a chance to stock them
• Jumping in water now puts you out if you find yourself on fire
• Slows from the environment now leave when you start swimming
• Stamina and energy regen now regenerates a percentage of stamina/energy, drastically increasing stamina/energy recovery time at higher levels

Visual Changes:
• Updated Reicherd’s arena quite a bit
• More flavorful deaths (executions) when you die!
• The Hub got a facelift
• Recipe learned notification now far easier to read
• Recipes learned from picked up items now give notification
• Changed appearance of teleporter on island
• Island prettier and has interactable grass now
• Plains prettier
• Added sparkles to logs to see them in tall grass easier
• Grass clears out quicker when building
• Made the sparkles on rocks less obnoxious
• Player now causes ripples when they’re in water
• Things get a bit wetter during rain and storms
• Added a couple of cutscenes to the game (now you can witness Reicherd being a beast)
• Updated tutorial control list to make it easier to follow
• Fixed grass sticking through various floors and reappearing under placed items
• Made pickupable objects easier to spot
• Fixed color of armor staying in slot after moving item
• Fixed grass shadows

Adjustments:
• Tweaked damage numbers
• Nerfed daggers
• Potatoes, garlic, carrots, and onions now slightly easier to find
• Lowered copper needed for Vex’s first building
• Increased heavy and reckless attack damage significantly

Just for Fun Stuff:
• Standing on the port in pad while someone teleports in is a bad idea now
• Added credits to main menu
• Added weather manipulation machine. Deckar sells it for a pretty penny

Bug Fixes:
• Fixed issue with drawing and sheathing
• NPCs no longer wildly slam doors
• Fixed music to correctly swap between combat music and normal
• Fixed issues with inventory getting stuck if item dropped off screen
• Take all in loot windows now works properly
• Polar bears no longer appear in strange environments and ruin your day
• Fixed bug that jumbled up the crafting menu when you hit the general button
• Fixed issue with elementals getting stuck while attacking
• Reicherd doesn’t immediately wander off anymore
• Fixed issue with quest and key items allowing you to place them in chest but not take them back out with right click
• The guard wanting a drink now doesn’t trick you into giving her free drinks
• Fixed issue with teleporter not appearing on island but still being useable
• Enemies don’t eternally die when touching the starting barrier in arenas and you no longer have to listen to them being trapped in their own personal hell as their body is disintegrated and reformed until the end of time
• Drones behave like they should and don’t hide in the dirt and watch you while you participate in shameful activities
• Fixed some AI navigation issues
• Shaun no longer immortal
• Put Seymour into a few classes so they don’t get confused as much
• Fixed issue with temporarily getting stuck in crafting animation if crafting closed to quickly after making an item

Charming Hearts - Zachary
Dear Heartbeat Guardians

Hello everyone! Their first update of Charming Hearts will be officially released at 12:00 Beijing time on June 26th.

Here are the updated content:

1. Fixed the issue of some plot segments getting stuck in rare cases and subsequent plot jumps becoming disorganized;
2. Fixed the issue where clicking to play the latest chapter storyline occasionally mistakenly played other segments after backtracking the plot after opening a new chapter;
3. Optimized the favorability threshold of the plot in chapters 5 and 6, and improved the fault tolerance rate of passing the level;
4. Optimized the transition of some plot chapters;
5. Multiple language versions have been added, which can be set in the game's main function menu. Currently, only English switching is supported;
6. The game has an open download function for built-in picture albums.

  • New Online Mode (this feature is very early in the works, so expect lots of bugs)
    Online Tutorial:
    Press "o" while on the character select screen
    Create/login to a Gdevelop account
    Join a lobby with your friend
    Press ready and start game
    Player 2 don't press anything, Player 1 choose your character and then when the background changes, choose who your teammate/Player 2 wants to be
    Then you should both load in and be able to play!

Cyber Knights: Flashpoint - Trese Brothers

Update #98 follows up on 2 major milestone releases - DOMINION and GO FAST - to continue to press forward on other areas of the game. Tonight's focus is on new enemies, improved enemy weapons and armors, new armor setup for enemy corporate captains and new varieties of reinforcement groups arriving across the faction lines.

Thanks to everyone posting F10s, posting feedback to the community and to everyone who left a review to push us up and over 300!

We're short on days but we still have a busy June ahead of us as we try to close out our (self-inflicted) challenge to close all these major milestones by the end of the month. To be honest, we've already hit 4 milestones which is crazy and we should be able to get #5 but the other 2 are going to slip into July by a few days to a week.



New Enemy Types, Clearer VFX
Two new enemy types have been added, both armed with portable nano-capsules capable of releasing small fields of nanites that can form up to affect an incoming bullet just enough to alter its course from a hit to a miss. At the street and gang level, these Benders are cruder in their art, but the trained corporate Divergents boast a hi-tech and more expensive kit and are capable of putting up bigger Evasion buffs more often.

We're super excited to get on the track here of adding new enemies of all sorts - with new abilities, weapons and special moves. This is a great time for the enemy catalog to go from woefully shallow to something deep and much more exciting.

If an enemy uses an debuff against your team or a buff on their team, we've improved the VFX for these rarer and important events to be constant. They are light visual touches but they should help draw attention to the buff/debuff and can help prompt you to check the status pop up for the character or enemy to learn more about the specific effect in play.


Continued Improvement on Enemies
We've continued to press this week on better progression across the board for the enemies in all factions. We've rolled out upgraded armor and weapons for a number of enemies as they scale into higher Power Levels and most notably, corporate Captains can now get armor as high as 3 Protection Points, making them significantly harder targets to take down, especially in Kill 3 missions.

Also, we've rebuilt some of the reinforcement groups that can be rolled for different factions, so expect to see a more varied response teams, mixing the new enemy types, some snipers and other enemies in where they didn't previously appear.


Improved Attributes
In prep for the next major milestone of New Game V2 (Knight Creator) we've improved some of the effects of Attributes. You now gain +2% Dmg to Drones per point of Tech and +1% Dumpshock Res per Will instead of +1% to every 2 Will. Small changes, but helping to bring the Attributes into a tighter balance.

Improved Traits
A number of Contact and merc Traits got a lift with this update. Thanks to everyone reporting issues with Traits via F10 and for the balancing suggestions as well.
  • Merc Traits Grit, Scrappy, Bouncer and Bull-Built all now give nicer HP bonuses
  • Contact Trait Detailed Oriented has gained bonus for buying Files and big Exposure Res bonus
  • Contact Trait Calculating has been reclassified as a positive Trait
  • Fixed bugs in progression with the MilSec Merch Trait
Custom Difficulty: -1 Tally Rules
If you modified your custom difficulty setting to apply a -1 to the designed rate of Security Tally this did work except if the Security Tally was +1, in which case it was ignored. That was some silly nonsense which we have now fixed, it is always -1 unless it would force the Sec Tally negative and then time would start going backwards or something.

- New type of street and corporate enemy - Benders and Divergents
- Benders / Divergents employ fast moving and flanking tactics, start with bonus Evasion and can buff for even more
- Improved armor and weapon progression on corporate captains - now boasting 1-3 Armor Points
- Rebuilt some corp, syndicate and street reinforcement groups to have more exciting variations
- Improved Attribute effects - now +2% Drone Dmg per Tech (up from +1%) and +1% Dumpshock Res per Will (up from 0.5%)
- Improved merc Traits Grit, Scrappy, Bouncer and Bull-Built to have better HP bonuses
- Fixed issue with Security Tally modifier in Difficulty; when set to -1 will now set level with +1 to +0/Turn correctly
- Improved Detail Oriented Trait to have bonuses to buying Files and big Exposure Res bonuses
- Reclassified Contact Trait "Calculating" as a low positive Trait
- Fixed issues with progression in Contact Trait "Milsec Merch"

Hood Warfare - Trapstar Games
This patch update addresses the login problems that have been highlighted on by recent reviews and posts regarding the login system

Updated Login
This new update allows you to pick between local steam login, and hood warfare account login upon first opening Hood Warfare.

New users can log in with the local steam method to avoid having to create an account.
Old users can log in via the Hood Warfare account method and keep all of their progress.

Both login methods feature leveling and stats for kills, death, KDR. Users can switch between the Hood Warfare account and Local Steam profile account on the main menu via the logout button.

Prior to this update this was only able to be done by changing the version to the "nologin" version in steam settings, but now the local login works without needing to do this.

This update also brings bug fixes and quality of life improvements such as:

  • Updated menu
  • Updated loadout selection character
  • Doors now show on abandoned school multiplayer map
  • Drive-Bys cost 5 kills instead of 3.
  • Text on drive by unlock showing the key to activate it
  • And many others.

Content Coming Soon...Although there hasn't been many updates in the past few months, a major update featuring a new map and weapons will be coming soon.
