We just released another micropatch that is live now on Steam for Windows, Mac, and Steam Deck! This micropatch addresses quite a few fixes, updates, and improvements for bugs, issues, and feedback from the community. Here’s what has been updated and fixed in this patch:

  • Fixed an issue causing the dialogue box to show the wrong name for the narrator
  • Fixed a typo during the End of Day screen
  • Fixed an issue causing Darius to not show up in his house at night
  • Fixed a typo in Zaria’s hangout
  • Fixed an issue where the “wrong person” text during the Delivery Dragon overnight scene when you answer correctly
  • Fixed an issue where goodnight kiss cutscenes were stuck on a black scene in multiplayer
  • Fixed an issue causing a black screen after feeding a Snaccoon
  • Fixed an issue causing the Player Joined Notification to not close properly
  • Fixed a graphics issue causing Liam’s tomatoes to look blurred
  • Fixed an issue with golden trees dropping regular Gray Scale fruit
  • Increased bait use time to 8 hours
  • Fixed an issue causing combat dungeon enemies to drop incorrect seasonal tokens
  • Fixed an issue causing memory loss potions to not work as intended when you don’t have a child with your spouse

    Counter-Strike 2 - Piggles ULTRAPRO
    Since the launch of CS2, community map mappers have been hard at work creating new experiences and updating some classics. Today, we're excited to add the first community maps to CS2!


    For those of you who dream of Italian weddings, or airplane manufacture (or both!), we've got you covered. Memento and Assembly are now available in Wingman.


    And if you're in the mood for something a bit more... chaotic, take a dip in the classic Pool Day, which is now available in Arms Race.


    Finally, fight your way through the streets of Thera and Mills in Deathmatch and Casual, and put these maps through their paces in Competitive Matchmaking.

    Speaking of Competitive Matchmaking, we've given map-based skill groups an overhaul. In addition to redistributing players across the Skill Groups, we've also made it easier to earn those badges in the first place.



    There are a bunch of other fixes and adjustments in today's update, including a brand new MVP panel (and animated MVPs in Premier!) and new ways to optimize your video settings.

    • Settings Recommendations
      • Added a Settings Recommendation popup if your display's refresh rate is set below its maximum at startup. Using your display's highest refresh rate is generally recommended.
      • Added a Settings Recommendation popup if NVIDIA G-Sync support is detected but not enabled at startup. Using G-Sync is generally recommended if your system supports it.
      • Added a Settings Recommendation popup if NVIDIA G-Sync is enabled but not V-Sync and/or NVIDIA Reflex. It is generally recommended to enable all three settings together when they are available. Note that applying these settings will limit your frame rate to your display's refresh rate or slightly lower, which is usually the smoothest-looking and lowest input latency settings combination.     • Removed "Main Menu Background Scenery" and "Item Inspect Background Scenery" settings from the Video Settings page. These settings are still available on the Main Menu and in the Item Inspect screens respectively.
    • The "Refresh Rate" setting now shows your display's current refresh rate in Windowed and Fullscreen Windowed modes.
    • Removed the "Laptop Power Savings" setting which has never actually been configurable in CS2.
    • Added a "Frame Pacing" section to the Advanced Video settings page.
    • Added an "NVIDIA G-Sync" row to the Frame Pacing section which tells you whether or not G-Sync is active with your current display settings. This row may be hidden if you're using the Vulkan renderer or if you're not using an NVIDIA graphics card.
    • Added "Maximum FPS In Game" and "Maximum FPS In Menus" sliders to the Frame Pacing section. These control the fps_max and fps_max_ui convars respectively.
    • Increased the default "Maximum FPS In Menus" setting from 120 FPS to 200 FPS.
    • The Advanced Video visual preview now uses the "In Game" maximum FPS instead of the "In Menus" maximum.

    Settings
    Arguably the most important (and definitely the least exciting) feature of a game. Additional in-game settings have been added to the menu bound to the controller. Settings include:
    • Locomotion preferences (Movement style, turn style).
    • Controller preferences ( i.e. grip preferences, hand rotation, button preferences).
    • Volume setting

    Quiver Activation
    The most impactful change in 0.3.0 is the ability to toggle specialty arrows on/off with the primary button. This feature (which is enabled by default) allows for the quiver to equip a special arrow and keep it equipped until pressing the primary button again. This feature was requested by multiple community members and is more beginner friendly IMO. If you prefer the original scheme of holding in the primary button, this feature can be reenabled via the new settings menu.

    Vive Wand Compatibility
    All these new settings were really an effort to add controller support for the OG Vive wands. It's been on my TODO list for ages and I can now happily cross this off. (Shame on you Unity for making it much more difficult than it needed to be). An important note: The "primary" button on the Vive controller is the middle click on the trackpad, and the secondary is the menu button north of the trackpad.

    Shenanigans
    You can now punch people!
    This was never intended to be a feature. However, while prototyping the future NPC enemies there was a clear need to be able to push them back when they get too close. After the kinks got worked out it was only logical to also allow people to slap each other across the face in PVP.

    Its the Serpent Titan mega update! That means the new Serpent Titan is roaming the world summoning typhoons and crashing into islands. Plus there are new missions, items, weapons, and two new biomes. I also made a bunch of quality of life improvements, bug fixes, and performance updates... oh, and a fishing pole!

    Here is the Serpent Titan update video, and below are some screenshots and info about new features, with build notes at the bottom.



    Items & Weapons:
    • Cannons : Cannons now shoot about twice as fast. Making it easier to take out pesky enemies or bombard your friends with Typhoon Cannon Balls.
    • Typhoon Cannon Ball : A new special cannon ball has been added. It shoots out a twisting compressed ball of air which spawns a Typhoon for a short while. The Typhoon can lift enemies, animals, and boats into the air.

    • Fishing Pole : Every game with water and fish needs a fishing pole. You can catch fish and various debris anywhere in the world. The closer your cast is to a school of fish, the more likely fish will be caught. Hint: the fast ones are fish, the slow ones are other items.
    • Blue Crystal Boat Motor : This is the fastest motor you can put on a boat.
    • Titan Stone Axe : Super strong axe you can build with Titan Stone from a defeated Titan.
    • Titan Stone Arrow : Super strong arrows you can build with Titan Stone from a defeated Titan.
    • A new Conch : You will need to play the missions to find out what it does.
    Missions:
    • There are new missions near the end of the game to connect the Serpent Titan into the world. I also made some updates to the other missions to improve them (like reducing the fish quest) and have some notes written down for additional improvements I will be adding very soon.
    • I don't want to say too much away about the new missions, so grab the update and check them out.
    • Although its not specifically a Mission feature, there are new World Map improvements too. The world map will now show you the name and resources for ares when you focus on them, plus the names of mission related areas are always visible instead of after discovery.
    Treasure & Titans:
    • Islands now have a random treasure placed near the middle of them with a special large cache of loot. Keep an eye out for golden chests as you explore, you might get lucky.
    • In addition to the new loot, the loot from Treasure Maps has been increased by about 20x !
    • Titan and Golem colors have been updated so their color and the crystal loot they have is the same type. The Turtle Titan now has a yellow glow to reflect this. The Titans also have a new Titan Stone mine-able rock on their dead island bodies instead of dropping lose Titan Stone on the ground.
    Boats:
    • Boats are now faster than before, turn quicker than before, plus the yellow and blue engine stats have been refined.
    • Blue Crystal Motors now exist in the world. Check out the NPC Village if you want to buy a blueprint for it. Taking down a Serpent Titan will let you harvest a lot of Blue Crystals easily too.
    Building Menu changes:
    • Many of the items in the build menus are now unlocked by default. One or two still require a contraption or item be built first, mostly to help early game users from making the wrong thing at the wrong time. I am still working through the items as new ones come online and will continue to improve the setup for them.
    • I also added a way to preview which items can be learned from Recipes and Blueprints.
    • Some of the items have new build costs. Things like the Dock have gone up a tiny bit, while things like ammo has generally gone down.

    - Fixed a glitch to the physics engine.
    Dawnsbury Days - Dawnsbury Studios
    This update adds alchemical bombs, fixes bugs, adds additional rewards for alternate classes into the main campaign, slightly reduces the difficulty of the final boss on Insane difficulty, and adds new art for some creatures (thank you to Qwert and Jakub!).

    In this update, I and Danni, who created and maintains the large mod DawnniExpanded and its associated mods, have also moved some features from that mod into the base game, such as the iconic Scorching Ray spell or the Leap action. Thank you to Danni for your work!

    Here's the full changelist:

    New character content:
    • Basic action: Leap
    • Monk feat: Gorilla Stance
    • General feat: Powerful Leap
    • Items: light pick, ghost charge, dread ampoule, alchemist's fire (lesser and moderate variants)
    • Spells: scorching ray, false life

    Balancing:
    • Encounters (S1E5): Added +1 handwraps of mighty blows as an extra reward at end of chapter 1
    • Encounters (S2E4): Added a gate attenuator as a reward instead of a +1 heavy crossbow after winning the fourth encounter in chapter 2
    • Encounters (S4E5): On Insane difficulty, the final boss no longer has the elite adjustments. It still has elite adjustments in its second form.

    Bugfixes:
    • Steam: The achievement "Surprise round" didn't trigger if you had a non-undetected animal companion, ally or minion in play.
    • Rules: Being in cover didn't give you a circumstance bonus to Stealth checks.
    • Spells (Spiritual Weapon, Flaming Sphere): Sustaining proxy spells incorrectly provoked attacks of opportunity.
    • Encounters (Training Grounds): The new background image had a baked-in grid.
    • Items: Fixed that gate attenuators would not recharge overnight if they were placed in the loot box.
    • Ancestries (Dwarf): Unburdened Iron didn't reduce speed penalties from effects and tower shields.
    • Spells (Friendfetch): Friendfetch did not move unconscious allies.

    Modding:
    • Modding: Fixed that modded worn traits displayed as "worn 41004" rather than "worn runestone" etc.
    • Modding: You can now register your own item modifications with ItemModification.RegisterItemModification. This could allow for implementing staves.
