  • Added the "Asteroids ++ Store" menu in the game
  • Added the "Use Items" menu in the game, you can finally consume purchased items and boosts
  • Buffed nuke damage (base damage from 15 > 23)

  • Hopefully fixed crash with o_money but needs more testing

Blunted in The Malen - Kerem
Hello, dear Malen residents.

We regret to inform you that we are rescheduling Blunted in The Malen to the first quarter of 2025 for a smoother and higher quality experience.
During this period we will participate in the Next Fest in October with another demo.

The delay also makes it impossible to say anything definite about the languages we will add. If we have enough time and money, we will translate the previously promised languages.

Selene's Unbearable Night - Farelas


This update brings with it a lot of content. The most important thing being the addition of the final chapters where you will know the outcome of Selene's story. With this, some previous scenes and levels are modified and improved.
Another important aspect is the participation of two voice actresses, who will provide voices for Selene and Olivia, since one of the biggest complaints about the game was the use of voices with AI and how they do not transmit any emotion. This is solved with great performances that will give life to the characters. Delaney Gilmore as Selene and Holly Painter as Olivia.

And no less important are the addition of Steam achievements, now you will be able to obtain them by meeting certain requirements, so prepare your weapons and get to work, since it will not be an easy task to obtain them all.

In addition to these aspects, many changes and improvements are made.
Complete list:

-New levels are added that close the game's story.
- Voice acting is added for the main characters.
-Steam achievements are added.
-Almost all the boss models have been changed, so that they have a better appearance and are more homogeneous with the game. With this, some combats are modified to add freneticism and others are adjusted to achieve fairer and less frustrating combats.
-Some scenes are modified to give the game a better appearance and add to the game's story.
-Combat is improved with better response times with weapons, sounds and visual effects are added to more clearly indicate the impact of hits and shots.
-A new outfit is added for Selene and with this the same outfits are added for Olivia, making them both use the selected outfit, of course, without leaving aside the personality of each one.
-Textures and lighting are improved in some scenarios.
-The volume of all sounds is regulated to have a more uniform sound quality without annoying volume increases.
-Many errors are solved, so many that I no longer remember all of them. D:

Hello fellow Necromantics! We are hard at work on our next major feature - Romance - and it's coming out very soon. So soon in fact, that the first iteration of the Romance feature will be in the game by the end of June.

SO WHAT'S THIS ROMANCE FEATURE?
Romance is a combination of narrative character development, item collection and turn in, and combat boosts in Single Player gameplay. If you like to get to know the characters and their backstories, this is the beginning of that. If you want more power when you’re in a fight, this helps there too.

Through our new Romance feature, you can interact with the main cast of characters of Valorborn via a dialogue system. Here you will learn about various students, how they feel about you (as the character talking to them), and opinions of other characters from their perspective. The sharp eyed player will also take note of empty meter under your portrait.

MORE THAN JUST DIALOGUE, INVESTING IN RELATIONSHIPS ADDS TO COMBAT!
Now, when you're in combat, you’ll discover a new object... a crate. When you break a crate open, collectible items spill out of it.

Those collectibles are gifts that can be given to particular students back in Valorborn’s courtyard. Give a character a gift they appreciate, and the relationship meter associated with their portrait will start to fill. Keep it up, and the romance meter will fill to the point where a threshold is passed, and you’ll notice that how they speak to you changes. While some may mature into full blown romance, others may be more on the platonic end of friendship.

When you cross a certain relationship threshold with a character, they will also appear in combat to join you for a short time, bringing with them their primary weapons and possibly abilities too. Keep improving that relationship, and they will stay for longer when they appear, and be progressively more powerful with each upgrade. As with students in real life, some enjoy your company, while others... let's just say may take more work to get acquainted with. All of this is for the new student to discover and find their place at Valorborn.

WHAT'S NEXT?
Keep in mind, this is the first edition of this feature, and there’s lots more we want to do with it, but we feel it’s important to get it in front of our players. We hope you enjoy the beginning of our newest feature!

Fixed the issue where pressing the Escape button now correctly opens the Settings Menu.
Added functionality: pressing the Back button on a controller while on the Title Screen now opens the Settings Menu.
Fixed the bug where the mouse cursor would move to the center of the screen when closing a GUI on Mouse and Keyboard.

9-Bit Armies: A Bit Too Far - Schism Navigator

Hello commanders,

Are you ready for a new test of your tactics? Today we are releasing a new game mode for 9-Bit Armies: A Bit Too Far in the Survival Mode Preview.

In this mode you will have to face wave after wave of enemies on a unique map. Be sure to destroy each wave quickly to avoid being caught up in a stronger surge wave down the line.

Please note that this is a preview of the game mode as we are still working on expanding it including better balanced difficulties, more maps and co-op with the new mode.

The full version of this game mode will be coming out later as a free update to all players of 9-Bit Armies: A Bit Too Far.

Other improvements in this patch include updates to the harvesters AI, some bug fixes, improved visuals and audio.

New Feature
  • New Survival Mode - Battle against waves of enemies, including some returning forces.
Gameplay
  • Smarter Harvesters - When searching for a new resource node, harvesters will take into account the number of harvesters already using a node as a factor when calculating the distance to the node.
  • When Resource Nodes are refilled, Harvesters will start collecting again and Resource Nodes will reanimate.
  • Harvesters will now stay where the player puts them instead of wandering off.
  • Made "Money Pit" a desert audio map and tested; Lowered ambient seagull volumes for coastal maps.
Bug Fixes
  • Fixed/Added ambient audio for multiple instances that were previously silent.
  • Reduced chance of units teleporting over cliffs when the factory is built against a cliff wall.
  • If Paracannon is full of units and player sells, the units are now removed from transport.
  • Audio fix for unit selection voice response audio when clicking on unit buttons in tactical UI lower-left selection tray.
  • Crash fix related to mods.
  • Fixing a crash when someone saves the game, after surrendering, with lots of units left to kill.
  • Crash fix to resolve situations where the game get's suspended (ie: closing the lid on a laptop) and must resume hours later.
