The explosive secrets revealed during Jade Shadows continue to reverberate, with Parvos Granum now attempting to harvest Volatile Motes to perfect his own Jade Eximus army. With the help of Ordis, you'll need to commandeer special Mote Collectors and put an end to Parvos’ plans. Venture to Stalker’s Lair at Brutus on Uranus to preserve Jade’s legacy and battle the Corpus to earn new Rewards (as well as returning ones from previous Operations)!

Ordis will send the necessary details to your Inbox once you complete the Jade Shadows Quest. Operation: Belly of the Beast commences on June 18 at 11:30 a.m. ET and will conclude on July 18 at 11:30 a.m. ET.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW

Operation: Belly of the Beast requires you to step into Stalker’s Lair — only those who have completed the Jade Shadows Quest are permitted to do so.

WHAT YOU NEED TO DO

While Operation: Belly of the Beast is live, players will have access to special nodes that allow them to take on Parvos' forces. During these Missions, all Eximus units that spawn will be Jade Light Eximus units. You can help Ordis in his mission to stop Parvos in one of three ways:

1. Operation Variant of Brutus (Uranus)
2. Operation Alerts
3. Stalker Joins the Fray

[h4]Operation Variant of Brutus (Uranus)[/h4]

In traditional Operation style, the new Brutus node on Uranus has its own Operation variant. Play Ascension as you know it, but with all Eximus units spawning in as Jade Light Eximus.

Summoning a Sister of Parvos will also reward players with additional Volatile Motes.

[h4]Operation Alerts[/h4]

In addition to the Brutus node on Uranus, timed Operation Alerts will appear across the Origin System that also award players with Volatile Motes. These non-Ascension Missions will have their normal Mission gameplay, but will also spawn Jade Light Eximus in place of regular Eximus units. Look for these time-limited Alerts to appear every hour or so as an alternative method to earn Volatile Motes.




[h4]Stalker Joins the Fray[/h4]

Visiting Ordis in the Larunda Relay not only allows you to earn Operation Rewards, but also lets you call on an old foe to assist in your efforts. In speaking to Ordis, selecting the “A Shared Purpose?” option will allow you to join another Squad’s mission as the Stalker! Doing so will reward you with the usual Mission Rewards — at the risk of losing them all should you be downed during combat.

Rewards
No Operation is complete without its Rewards, and Ordis has collected quite a few offerings to choose from. Ordis can be found in the Larunda Relay in the Navigation Room, where he will trade Volatile Motes for said Rewards.




[h4]Community Progress[/h4]

Belly of the Beast comes with a Community Progress segment to track the total Volatile Motes collected by all Tenno. As the total number of Motes ticks up, progress is made towards a new variant of the Jade Light Ephemera, unlocking it for purchase from Ordis in the Larunda Relay.

【数值重构第三弹】

1.产出数值重构:

取消游戏里大量重复、随机的产出玩法,以固定化、江湖化的产出代替同质化的产出体验

1)本次更新后武学、心法升级,更加具有偏向性及江湖代入感:

a)方便大侠们前期体验,依然可以用之前的三种材料“扶山丹、离荧玉、战好卷”对心法、武学的效果随机提升(特别提示:更新后,此三种材料将只有蓝色品质、且有且仅有在游商处获得)

b)大侠们可以跋山涉水,收集对应材料对对应心法做极端向提升:比如修炼寒冰真气的时候使用千年寒玉床等等

c)本周更新所有普通材料的相关玩法;天才地宝及对应的玩法将在下周第五弹更新里放出

2)包打听玩法优化(优化随机和SL体验):

去掉随机表里的大量普通产出,不与其他玩法做重复交叉;保留固定特色、重要产出,后期将进一步优化为奇遇玩法

3)新增25个门派叛门弟子等江湖人士据点,挑战对应的江湖人士可获得对应差异化掉落:

a)所有江湖人物道具优化:江湖人物背包内道具将根据境界不同重新分配,丰富不同阶段江湖人物的玩法

5)商店优化:

a)门派商店根据门派差异化倾向化:

i.分类门派生活、记忆、武术套路、学说的等级,增加门派特色和加入不同门派的身份差异分类。

ii.加入不同门派商店,可购买高阶武器、防具、饰品、武学化境卷的类型,使得玩家轻松的完成武学、装备的搭配

b)游吟商人不再做全道具表随机,进一步差异化:作为玩家探索世界的进一步中级商店,产出对应的中期道具、材料及部分珍品(唯一性)

c)新增行脚商人、药店:

产出大量玩家需要的初期道具、并因为世界地域不同而产生大量的差异化体验(与前两弹更新的商店如“铁匠铺、裁缝店、首饰店、杂货铺、门派商店、游商、矿石商人、草药商人、各大门派坊堂等”一起构成江湖Ⅱ的商贸基础,为下一阶段的江湖霸图模拟经营及身份线的行商玩法做铺垫准备,因此这类商店的优化还将持续进行,大家可以多多提意见)

It's been a month since the prologue of Sanctree was released! 🎉 The initial version of the game had many bugs and some spaces needing optimization. We have received a lot of feedback from players, and we are very grateful for both the support and the constructive criticism. We appreciate that you took the time to play our game and help make it better!💖

As the Steam Next Festival is end, we have finally completed the development work of the previous phase, and during the festival, we implemented the Water Conservancy System into the game.

In the next phase, we will gradually optimize some of the shortcomings mentioned by players over the past month and start developing the new content we had previously planned. This includes a UI overhaul, gameplay experience improvements, combat system enhancements, and entirely new environments, dungeon bosses, talent systems, fluid systems, hybrid systems, forging systems, quest systems, shop systems, and more. We will introduce these in our upcoming devlogs! 📣

This time, we bring you a preliminary introduction to the forging system!

(The UI and screens shown in the demo screenshots are from the development version and do not represent the final quality.)
Weapons, equipment, and even items will have different affixes, which will affect various properties of the items and characters. Forging affixes will be displayed in colored text in the item information box.




Players can spend currency (which can be obtained by selling items or completing quests, to be detailed in the shop and quest systems) to add affixes to specified items through the forge.

The number of affixes that can be added to different items will vary; some items can have up to 4 affixes, while others can have only 1. The same item can be reforged multiple times by spending currency.

Affixes can be positive or negative. Don’t worry about bad luck—players can lock in their preferred affixes and only reforge the unlocked ones, though locking affixes will cost some additional currency.

Use the forging system to enhance your equipment and weapons! Rest assured, your investment will not disappoint you! 🎶

SYSTEM
- Should skip the launcher when starting FoG for battles the vast majority of times.
- Fewer FOW calculations in hosting (faster turns).
- Improved music handling and reshuffling.
- Tooltip delay added, for now, as an entry only in \Documents\My Games\EmpiresKingdoms\OPTIONS.TXT.
- No City coloring added, for now, as an entry only in \Documents\My Games\EmpiresKingdoms\OPTIONS.TXT.
- Added an additional sound backend.
- Identical sounds will be played less loudly.

UI & QOL
- Pop-up panel has extra functionalities.
- Fixed a slightly misformatted tooltip in battle.
- Modifier tab stays selected when switching factions in the factions lobby.
- Slightly reworked political filter, with relationships more readable.
- Music delay between tracks reduced by 2/3.
- Fixed not being shown in the Piety ranking if you produce no piety at all.

- Relationships in the Political overlay made bigger and clearer. In the same overlay, a new color differentiates between yourself and your vassals.
- Fixed a visual issue when looking at a single trade good if more than 8 were present in a region.

EASY MODE
Overhauled (fully dynamic, you can alternate between easy & balanced in the same game):
- More chance for the event 'noble donation' (free money).
- Less chance of having an epidemic.
- More chance for the event providing a free Defensive building.
- Double reward from Authority mini-events.
- Less stupendous Court expenses.
- Lowered War Weariness by 15%.
- Slightly less chance of a coup or rebellion.
- Better ruler stats.
- Penalty from war occupation is skipped.
- Sedition from Nobles halved.

Only apply when starting a new game:
- More Intrinsic Resources at start (free resources that go away as time passes).
- A player in Easy difficulty will receive +20 Authority and +50% money (scenario start only).

DYNASTY, CHARACTERS, AUTHORITY
- Mercenaries are slightly more prone to degrade the relationship with their general.
- General improvements on how the ruler's Military stat is tied to the actual leader's battle stat.
- If you form a new nation and are under a certain Realm level, you'll be promoted instantly to a certain level (e.g., Apulia > Sicily).
- Clergymen can lead armies with a systematic penalty of 1 to AMP. Other nobles will now have this penalty only if not in a legitimately owned region (was their Domain before, so relaxed rule).
- If a general has a penalty to his AMP stat (while leading an army thus), it's indicated in the tooltip.

CLAIMS
- Claims are now given much more frequently in the first 15 turns of the campaign.
- Hostile claims give you a discount if you declare war on the other nation.
- Claims will, in the vast majority of times, only be added if you are at least distant neighbors.
- Hostile foreign claims penalty is now only in Experienced or harder difficulty.
- Higher chance to get a claim if you have none from an insult; if you get one, you pay 2 Authority though.

VASSALS
- Human vassals will never be forced to give their units to their liege.
- If a vassal, your possibilities to get spontaneous claims are restricted to nations you are at war with or have extremely low relationships with.
- This will also prevent vassal AIs from adding too many claims against other nations, including the players.
- Vassals under threat and sending troops to their liege will be less frantic regarding troop recruitment.
- Vassals giving troops won't give them all at once, allowing you to change the policy (troops won't be given back unless you 'disband' them).

LEGACY & WINNING
- The sudden win condition will activate after 150 turns, not 100, in the grand campaign.

GRAPHICS & ARTS
- New harbor smuggling image.
- Major & important: chicken leg is now roasted.

RELIGION
- Fixed the Jihad being stoppable by the Holy See under some circumstances.
- Holy war targets won't get DOWed by nations not close enough to them.
- Fixed Declare Jihad against target X not working if the playing faction is already within a Jihad (same for Crusade).
- Fixed Christians under Jihad being despised by other Christians. This is now properly reversed (they will like you more).
- More chance to get bonus Authority from units you gave with the Send Crusaders Decision. Reminder, you also get bonus Legacy.
- Made sure any Catholic DOWing the Papacy gets excommunicated. Added a pop-up if you are.

STRUCTURES & REGIONS/DOMAINS
- Some changes in manpower income for some structures.
- More accurate trade status for structures in their detail panel.
- King's Agent properly gives an extra bodyguard and not 'Basque Isolation'. Don't ask.
- Removed the reference to a gain of token upon building a Stone Castle, it's now an Absorb Vassal decision which is provided.
- Structures get their important keywords colored.
- Fixed track requiring Craftsmen borough.
- Fixed Domain Expansion IV & V not available.
- Fixed Domain becoming non-formable as soon as you military occupy one of the regions.
- Fixed very developed regions not properly importing goods within range (if more than 24!).
- Fixed an erroneous link in region Mosul.
- Code will remove 2 capitals in the same region.

WARFARE & BATTLES
- Allies don't pay Authority when joining war, if it is recent (10 turns max).
- Fixed possible crash in battle.
- Some Muslim units renamed so they could be used in more nations (Georgia)
- Training Grounds now handle Heavy Infantry for XP gain.
- A general revolting with his army will not station in the city of the rebelling region, in case the garrison remains loyal.
- Free warscore gain from higher Authority is only done if the two nations at war are neighbors.
- Ships will update their geo-situational combat ability before each battle (e.g., 'Galley in stormy coastal water').
- When you declare war on a liege with vassals or a vassal, all claims you have with the liege or any vassal will be factored into the rebate for DOW.
- Winning a small battle vs. winning a large one was actually more dangerous for generals (fixed).
- Exploit closed: you can only pillage hostile or owned regions, not allied or passage-right ones.

DIPLOMACY & PEACE
- Region exchanges in a peace negotiation (whether acquired or relinquished) will now be a friendly transfer, so no Authority will be lost in either case.
- Fixed vassal/Ally being stolen his land if a third party defends him.
- Bad relations can break a royal marriage or passage rights treaty (Needs Despise level, -35).
- In case of good relations (Amiable, 50+) then allies or vassals can give back a region to its legitimate owner.
- Currently only AI vassals toward a liege or AI allies. (feedback requested)
- Reduced the ratio allowing to absorb through RM a full nation to 66% of the absorbee.

REGIONAL DECISIONS
- Fixed mix-up between Grant Land and Place Holding. Grant Land is only in your land but will now provide significant resources.
- Some changes in RGD allocations for IMRs and Seljuks.
- Fixed your own spy network targeting itself.
- Decision Peasants to Freemen does not provide money anymore.
- Fixed Diplomatic Intrigue RGD able to target yourself.
- Tweaked success chances of the Steal Token RGD (aka Sap Authority). There are fewer chances if you have positive tokens yourself and less chance if the enemy has negative tokens.
- Absorb Vassal should give more plausible results.

EVENTS, SETUP, FACTIONS
- 45 new historical rulers added.
- Campaign map overhauled with extra specific buildings (Abbasid Science Academy, etc.)
- New Campaign setup changing dozens of regions regarding their population mix.
- Improved Crusaders events (fewer cases where they could starve at sea).
- Kalmar union appearance fixed.
- Barghawata (tribal) was selectable (but not playable so confusing), fixed.
- William the Conqueror will always be a 2-2 general.
- In the GC, Normans no longer have a RM with England, and their relationship with France is now 0. This should favor going to England.
- Nations of Scottish culture now also get the Raider effect with Crechrighe.
- Modifications to the initial culture of some regions.
- Portugal is a Condado, not a minor Reino at start.
- Higher chances to get a 0-slot structure built for free if you have regions with high loyalty and high stewardship.
- Updated Manzikert and Angevin setup to have more roads.
- Fixed Taifas triggering too early 'Double-Edged Sword' perk.

ACHIEVEMENTS
- Fixed achievement "A Chip Off the Old Block" where a daughter would work too.
- Life of Bryansk achievement fixed.

AI
- The AI, in higher difficulty levels, will favor players' regions more as an objective.
- Normans AI can break their RM with England in case of negative relationships around 1060.

Between June 20 and June 27, 2024, the following items will be available:

Type 99B

The Type 99B is a fictional improved version of the currently most modern Chinese Main Battle Tank. It was designed as a concept by the Chinese tank community some years ago and we used the concept as a basis for its introduction. However, our version bears significant differences, most notably the Red Arrow missile launcher on the roof. You can read more about it in our dedicated article.



In Armored Warfare, the Type 99B is a Tier 10 Premium Main Battle Tank. It is fast, agile, and capable of dealing tremendous damage over a short period of time thanks to its turret-mounted thermobaric missile launcher.

The Type 99B MBT is available in our Web Shop via Loot Crates. Collect 100 blueprint pieces from these crates to obtain the vehicle.





QN-506

The QN-506 fire support vehicle is a Chinese attempt to design a cheap, export-oriented alternative to the Russian BMPT series. Instead of converting a second or third generation MBT, the engineers at Wuhan Guide Infrared Co., Ltd., likely to keep the vehicle as affordable as possible, opted to base their project on the Type 59 MBT, which is, in its basic form anyway, a copy of the old Soviet T-55 medium tank from the late 1950s. They jam-packed it with cutting edge electronics and a number of weapon systems, including ATGMs, an automatic cannon or smaller caliber rockets. However, despite the use of an unmanned turret, the protection levels of this vehicle are still quite low and, so far, there haven’t been any signs of interest in the QN-506. You can learn more about this vehicle in our dedicated article.



In Armored Warfare, the QN-506 is a Premium Tier 9 Tank Destroyer that gameplay-wise resembles the popular BMPT series. However, unlike the Russian Terminators, it has a number of interesting features including tree different weapon systems (30mm cannon, 70mm unguided rockets and 151mm ATGMs) and loitering recon ammunition flying towards the end of a map and spotting everything in its path. The last ability is unique to the QN-506 and makes it one of the most potent support vehicles on the battlefield.

VT-5

The VT-5 is a modern Chinese Light Tank that was developed specifically with export in mind. There are many reasons why a country without its own tank development should opt to purchase a Light Tank instead of a full-scale Main Battle Tank. It’s equally as fast if not faster with equal firepower but, what is most important, it is affordable. The VT-5 excels in all these categories. While its armor cannot match that of an MBT, it can protect its crew against most infantry threats thanks to its ERA and cage armor sets. It also has a powerful 105mm gun capable of firing guided missiles, it is packed with advanced electronics and is supremely agile thanks to its 1000hp diesel engine. In Armored Warfare, the VT-5 is a very powerful Tier 9 Premium Light Tank. Fast and agile, it features solid levels of protection (the configuration in the game is the one featuring the ERA kit as well as the turret cage armor) and a good rate of fire. Additionally, its gun is capable of firing guided missiles. It’s an ideal machine for players who value speed and agility, as it offers plenty of both. The VT-5 is capable of dancing around its opponents on the battlefield, outperforming even some AFVs in mobility.

Pindad SBS

The SBS platform is one of the first domestic armored vehicles developed by Pindad (the largest Indonesian armor producer) for Indonesia and is officially listed as a “light tank”. It was developed sometimes in the early 2010s with some prototypes in different configuration appearing in public in 2014 or so. The variant in the game is a long-range MLRS fire support vehicle with a 122mm multi-barreled rocket launcher. You can learn more about it in our In Armored Warfare, the Pindad SBS is a Tier 8 Premium Armored Fighting Vehicle. This AFV is fairly unique, since its main weapon is a multi-barreled rocket launcher capable of firing over obstacles. This makes the Pindad incredibly powerful in both offense and defense. Static enemy targets stand no chance! Type 90

The Type 90 is the current service main battle tank of the Japanese Self-Defense Force. On the outside, it vaguely resembled the German Leopard 2, but inside, the vehicle’s completely different. It was adequately armed and armored for the time it was developed in, but what made it really stand out were its cutting-edge Japanese electronics and its hydraulic suspension, allowing the tank to tilt itself forward or backward, enhancing its gun elevation and depression beyond what the turret would normally allow. This trait was considered to be an important for Japan, as much of its landmass is covered by mountainous areas. You can read more about it in our In Armored Warfare, the Type 90 is a Tier 7 Premium Main Battle Tank. Gameplay-wise, it resembles the Leopard 2 and Abrams version of the same Tier. The difference between the Leopard and the Type 90 MBT lie in the presence of an automatic loading mechanism – otherwise, the firepower and protection levels is roughly the same with the Japanese tank having a little less armor, compensated by more module hitpoints. Overall, it is not the best-protected MBT on the battlefield, requiring careful long-range gameplay. It's been a month since the prologue/demo of Sanctree was released! 🎉 The initial version of the game had many bugs and some spaces needing optimization. We have received a lot of feedback from players, and we are very grateful for both the support and the constructive criticism. As the Steam Next Festival is end, we have finally completed the development work of the previous phase, and during the festival, we implemented the Water Conservancy System into the game.

In the next phase, we will gradually optimize some of the shortcomings mentioned by players over the past month and start developing the new content we had previously planned. This includes a UI overhaul, gameplay experience improvements, combat system enhancements, and entirely new environments, dungeon bosses, talent systems, fluid systems, hybrid systems, forging systems, quest systems, shop systems, and more. We will introduce these in our upcoming devlogs! 📣

This time, we bring you a preliminary introduction to the forging system!

Weapons, equipment, and even items will have different affixes, which will affect various properties of the items and characters. Forging affixes will be displayed in colored text in the item information box.

Players can spend currency (which can be obtained by selling items or completing quests, to be detailed in the shop and quest systems) to add affixes to specified items through the forge.

The number of affixes that can be added to different items will vary; some items can have up to 4 affixes, while others can have only 1. The same item can be reforged multiple times by spending currency.

Affixes can be positive or negative. Don’t worry about bad luck—players can lock in their preferred affixes and only reforge the unlocked ones, though locking affixes will cost some additional currency.

Use the forging system to enhance your equipment and weapons! Rest assured, your investment will not disappoint you!
