  • Sharken - A deep-sea denizen that becomes enraged at regular intervals, increasing move speed, attack speed, damage and damage reduction for a limited duration.
New Pets

  • Blue Shark Cat - Obtainable by achieving level 55 in the Defender Pass.

    • Ability: Feeding Frenzy - Increases hero speed by 50% for 7 seconds. During this time attacks deal an additional 115% water hero damage.
  • Seahorse - Obtainable as a rare drop on Coral Reef Town.
    • Ability: Poison Whirlpool - Fires a ball of poison that creates a swirling whirlpool on impact. This whirlpool draws in enemies, dealing 600% poison hero damage every second for 10 seconds.
  • Dapper Seahorse - Available for purchase from the Black Market Dealer for 1 billion Gold.

Abilities
  • Breath of the Dragon (Replacing Chi Stomp) - Summon an ethereal dragon that unleashes a brief cone of flames in front of you. This deals magical fire damage and burns enemies, causing damage over time.

  • Chi Aura (Replacing Heal) - Channel your chi into an aura around you, healing yourself and nearby allies while crippling and slowing enemies!

  • Crippling Chi Wave
    • Unlocked movement while casting Crippling Chi Wave.
    • Decreased charge time from 1s to 0.25s.
    • Projectile now auto-fires on full charge.
    • Increased projectile speed by 50%.
    • Increased max pierce targets from 5 to 10.
    • Reduce the mana cost of Crippling Chi Wave from 50 to 40.
Shards
  • Blessing of the Dragon (Chaos X) - +x% critical chance and +x% critical damage for 5 seconds after using Breath of the Dragon.
  • Chi Boost (Chaos IX) - Increases hero damage by x% while Chi Aura is active.
  • Chi Burn (Chaos VIII) - Enemies inside Chi Aura burn for x% of your ability power as magic damage every second.
  • Goat Transmog (Chaos VII) - x% chance for Crippling Chi Wave to transmog enemies into goats for 3 seconds on-hit. Transmogrified enemies take x% more damage.
  • Crippling Strikes (Chaos VI) - Attacks have a 25% chance to fire a piercing Chi Wave that deals x% hero damage as magical damage and cripples enemies, increasing damage taken by x%.
  • Enduring Flame (Chaos IV) - Increases Breath of the Dragon burn damage by x% and increases burn duration by x seconds.
  • Enhanced Flames (Chaos III) - Increases the damage of Breath of the Dragon by x%.
  • Protective Chi (Chaos II) - While Chi Aura is active, gain a shield that decreases incoming damage by x%.
  • Pole Power - Removed Initiate from list of valid heroes for this shard.
  • Smashing Fists - Removed Initiate from list of valid heroes for this shard.
Mods
  • Thundering Stomp Chip reworked into Thundering Roar Chip - +x second stun on Breath of the Dragon.
  • Stomp Height Chip reworked into Burning Talisman Chip - Enemies within the range of the talisman burn for x% of your ability power and are crippled.

  • New Bundles Tab - A new tab added to the Emporium where you may find all currently available bundles.

Balance
  • Increased damage of Oceanic Rift by 15%.
  • Increased damage of Water Orbs by 25%.

  • Increased Ice Shards projectile speed by 50%.
  • Reduced Water Sprite DU cost from 40 to 30.
  • Increased upgrade scalar of Water Sprite from 25% to 50%
  • Ballista projectile now pierces terrain.
  • Ballista damage scaling changed from -5% per enemy struck to +5% damage per enemy struck.
  • Reduced Skeletal Ramster DU cost from 50 to 40.
  • Increased upgrade scalar of Skeletal Ramster from 15% to 25%.
  • Skeletal Ramster can now hit airborne enemies, although it still will not target them.
Bug Fixes
  • Fixed an issue where ability charges would display incorrectly.
  • Removed material skins from the Aquarion.
  • Fixed an issue where players would be prompted to purchase the incorrect vault when selecting one (Material Vault/Shard Vault) while using a controller.
  • Fixed an issue where Gargoyle Statue would not contribute towards weekly and/or daily missions.
  • Fixed an issue where node-based defenses displayed an incorrect mana cost in the town and private tavern.
  • Fixed an issue regarding ranged enemies ignoring Reflect Beams.
  • Addressed an issue regarding Altar Assassins teleporting to spawn locations.
  • Fixed 'Werewolf Mercenary' costume name.
  • 'Diversity' challenge no longer fails when retrying from a wave.
QoL Adjustments
  • Added a timer that kills stuck enemies.
  • You may now play any Onslaught floor to increment your own floor number by 1. For example; if your current Onslaught floor is 50 and you complete floor 200 with a friend, your Onslaught floor will increase to 51. Floors past 900 work like the previous iteration so you need to beat your latest floor to progress.

Co OPERATION: MultiTurn - MindFeastGames
Thanks to everyone who used the in-game forms to send us bug reports and feedback forms! During Next Fest we had 140 forms sent to us and this was super helpful. We can make the game much better with your feedback. Around 14,000 people have added the demo to their Steam account. Did you play it yet? What did you think?

The v0.6.4 demo is now live. We're continuing to fix bugs and improve features.

Change log:
v0.6 through to 0.6.4
  • Players with non-English Windows system settings can now load levels as normal
  • Players with non-English Windows system settings can now load the shop as normal
  • Bugfix: number of players added to game cannot be accidentally “spammed”, causing errors
  • Level Design scene no longer connects to game servers unnecessarily
  • Bugfix: on rare occasions an uncaught object caused an error, which has now been fixed
  • All 4 player characters have now been updated to the new animation system. So as well as looking super lively and fun, modders can easily customise them.
  • We fixed it so that when your character picks up an object... it actually looks like they are holding it (at the correct position).
  • Made a few tweaks to the overall brightness, contrast and saturation to look a bit nicer.
  • Throwing re-enabled in level 1. Although it's supposed to be a tutorial level where you can only do a few things to learn the basics... some players seem to expect the throw (maybe based on seeing a gameplay video etc), so we added it back in. Probably more fun to be able to mess about with throwing from the very start anyway.
  • A fix for "loading curtains" sometimes not triggering correctly.

There's a known issue with Steam Deck at the moment. For some reason the game will freeze up when loading your save files. It's not happening to everyone so the issue seems pretty random, but you should be able to resolve this by switching to "Desktop Mode" and running the game, or by re-installing it the game. Sorry for the troubles everyone! I'm trying to work with Steam on a fix for this one but I think it has something to do with the deck's firmware so it could tricky.

FIXES
- fixed bug where player could be seen if you rotated the catapult camera around
- fixed issue with “Continue Playing?” button losing focus
- fixed missing collider for a candle in Level 5

UPDATES
- added 16 new purple crystals to collect within the new areas to make things less grindy for crafting the new skins.

Another optimization patch.

- When you first start up the game with no save file, you can now enable co-op play and enter the options menu.
- Carl's shop voice lines when purchasing items are more spaced out.
- Music files are now correctly in their own group, can be turned off separately from sound effects once again.
- Added spooky piano music to start of Act 2 just for fun.
- Snails move a little when they die like other enemies.

- ACT 3 WORK AS WELL.

Wow, what an event! Super Farming Boy has been part of Steam Next Fest, LAGS Showcase/Summer Game Fest and we had a blast!
We made tons of new friends and, the best of all, many people could get their hands on our first demo!

The reactions were very positive, but of course we got very awesome feedback which (thank God) we’ve been able to address pretty quickly.

Our latest update include the following fixes:
  • Playing with mouse, and toggling the hoe, is no longer a drag
  • We fixed an issue where users were accidentally destroying crops

What’s coming next?

Yes, we heard you. We are currently working on a new set of controls, exclusive for PC: Keyboard AND mouse.
At the moment you are only able to play via gamepad, keyboard OR mouse but not mix those controls. We have now figured out how to make the best of those controls and are currently implementing.

Expect more news soon! We have more announcements to make in the upcoming months.
