We are putting the final details on a new fighter for Mostroscopy that will arrive very soon.
The third character of our initial 4 fighters expansion will arrive in the first days of summer, and she is nourished by a deep-rooted Mexican legend, although curiously not so exploited in the cinema; It is a legend that is present in almost all hospitals in Mexico, where someone appears at the edge of the night to do their job...



Of course our fighter also draws from other sources and visual references, based on other games and local legends from the place where we work, here is a photo:

Weapon of Choice is my oldest indie game, and when I ported it to Steam back in 2015, I added a lot of cool things back then: Like widescreen mode, hidden collectibles, and keyboard + mouse controls. Second, preview of upcoming things, which include new fireworks, powders and an area.


It releases colored smoke. This will also include a new Smoke powder for crafting, you'll be able to choose the color and whether or not it will go off instantly or wait.


Makes a loud whistling sound which too will be available as a powder for crafting: Whistle. It can be continuous or a burst so it can make noise while traveling or burst after traveling. (Or both?!)

Have a new area planned that will have a street, houses (with interiors) and a nearby forest. The base layout has been started:

Might just add pre-made houses instead of modeling new ones because they can be difficult to model to look good.

The smoke bomb and whistler fireworks are from this game and also play a part in some of the puzzles and the neighborhood map is based on the street here:



It also has a firework tent in the city with lots of fireworks to mess around with:



So there should be a big update when Second Dreamer releases it has just been a nightmare to bug test.


Ideas for possible other fireworks:

• Parachute: Shoots in the air then floats down with a parachute.
  
• Snake: You know those tiny discs that you light on fire and they turn into snake like ash.
  
• Handheld Sparklers
  
• Different mortars (along with being able to craft your own)

Also looked around at firework tents (irl) and got more ideas. Bought this Frog firework and will test it out to see what it does, it better be awesome.

Update 1.3

Major stuff:
- Death and reloading complete reconstruction.
* When you die, you're given the save file load screen instead of the title screen.
* When you revive, you have a 2/3rd chance of having 'Reconstruction Sickness,' which lowers several stats but goes away after one minute.
* The time it takes to recover from RS is lowered significantly by each Iceheart you find and consume. (If you find all 9 current Icehearts than the time is lowered from 60 seconds to 7.)
* Respawning is properly tied into the lore. (Which I had wanted to do all along.)

Stuff:
- The attack for all bosses has been increased a bit.
- Compendium D has been added to Georgie's shop.
- A handful of bug fixes.

Minor stuff:
- Georgie's agility has been raised slightly.
- You'll start off with one of 6 random items at the beginning of the game.

The mayor lost the keys to his safe. He asked you to find the keys and open the safe. During this event, at regular levels and in Challenge mode, you can collect Green Keys. If you collect the required number of Keys within the allotted time, you'll get a big reward; if you don't manage it in time, you'll get a consolation prize.

The time of the event is based on the time on your PC, and the duration may vary slightly from the duration of this announcement.

This video shows the crop planting system working, as well as the swimming system!

I have started working on decorating the underwater areas as well, but much more work to go! There is a functional fish school that will swim within the bounds given, and avoid static mesh objects as they swim freely.

This video also shows the crop planting system working. The player is able to place out a crop plot buildable item, and then put fertilizer, and seeds into the crop plot.

Every 15 seconds the crop plot cycles through a stage of growth for the plants (but the time can be lengthened or shortened). There are three plant growth stages for each plant, and after the third stage the plant will produce an item the player can consume or use in other crafting recipes.


From this point on, I am just working on small details, and fixing a couple of major bugs that need to be fixed before the game is able to be tested.

I want to get this out soon for testing, but there are a couple of really perplexing bugs I need to fix before I can let it be tested. As a one person team, fixing big bugs can be daunting and can take more time than I want.

Please be advised I am working my hardest to make this a solid release. The game can have bugs on release, but there are two "deal breaker" bugs I need to fix beforehand.

To complete the scene in Meow Moments, you need to: Pop 101 balloons 🎈, Find 101 kittens 🐱, Find 101 diverse characters 🌟
The cats and characters to be found are shown in the top panel. Find one, and the next one will appear.

Worried it's too challenging? Don't be! You have many resources at hand if you wish:

• Zoom In and Out: Adjust the camera and move it along the scene for a better view.
  
• See the Full Character: If a character in the top panel is large, hover the mouse over it to see it fully.
  
• Switch Characters: Click on a character in the top bar to switch to a different target.
  
• Enter Feline Focus Mode: Click the magnifier icon for a panoramic view of the whole scene. Search it with the magnifier and watch for signs when it finds something!
  
• More or less details: Select between more detailed or cleaner characters in the top bar by choosing your "Search Hint Style" in the options.
