I am pleased to announce that Billy Saves the World is fully compatible with Steam Deck!
While the game currently does not have the official verified icon, I've been told that this is due to Valve's work-from-home status which is slowing down their ability to test and approve games. They've instructed me to make a post so that until then, people will know they can use their handheld of choice!
Yes, that means not only does this make the perfect adventure to take with you on the go using your Steam Deck, but also the ROG Ally and more!
Billy Saves the World was thoughtfully designed with handhelds in mind. What this means is that whenever you play the game you will be able to accomplish something in a short amount of time. The open world is small but dense. Every few steps you'll encounter an enemy to take out and loot, discover a Cave to explore and complete, or activate a new side-quest. I want players to feel like there's always something they can do, even if you only have 5 minutes on the bus.
I think Billy Saves the World is ideal on handhelds. It's the perfect cozy little adventure to curl up on the couch with the fireplace channel turned on, and melt the days away leading up to Christmas.
I look forward to everyone experiencing one of the funniest games of the year when it releases November 26th on Steam for Windows, Mac, and Linux.

This one is aimed at fixing these issues:
In certain framerates, when using the upwards teleport you'd freeze in mid-air. Sliding through the air like life has no problems. It is now fixed and also has a new effect, the game will enter slow motion for a fraction of a second to give you more time to think on your next aerial move.
Sometimes when grabbing a diamond or orb, the minimap symbol wouldn't disappear. With the current update it shouldn't happen anymore!
Sometimes the cursor on the main menu or pause menu would go CRAZY when using a gamepad's analog stick. It is now fixed!
This update contains an upgrade to our networking system to address the issues mentioned in the previous post from last week. You can find (a ton of!) additional information in the linked post, but in short: players should now find their connection quality will typically be much better under normal conditions.

Last weeks Next Fest demo got a lot of new fans into the game, and I've been watching a lot of Youtube and Twitch videos playing the game, which is so cool to see :)
Based on those videos I was constantly making small changes and tweaks and fixes to the game, so this version isn't only the official release, it is also a very nice balanced update to the demo and the Steam Playtest build!

The demo version of “TOUHOU GENSOU MAHJONG” has been updated to v1.2.4.
Added Features
When the in-game language is set to "English", numbers and English letters will be added to tiles and the wind symbol will be written in English.

Fixed a problem in which the click judgment of the "Activate Ability" button was larger than it appeared.

Based on community feedback, some translations have been modified.
Closed the new songs that appeared in the Steam version once. Please listen to the retail version next time.
Adjusted the table texture of the "Noh Stage". Reduced the vividness and contrast of the background.
We will continue to release the demo version for the purpose of testing and debugging until its release, and will continue to fix bugs. However, we will lower the maximum number of users to reduce server load. We appreciate your understanding. After the release of the final version, we plan to limit the demo version to single-player and focus on the "Adventure" and "Cirno's Mahjong Class" experiences.

We have received several reports of bugs, but the conditions under which they occur are not yet known, and these bugs have not been fully fixed in this patch. However, log files can be collected on the PC version. If you send us the logs when the bugs occur, we may be able to fix them earlier. We would appreciate your cooperation in sending us the logs if you don't mind.
How to send logs
Location and file name of the log file
The log file is located in "C:\Users\[username]\AppData\LocalLow\DNASoftwares\TouhouGensouMahjong\". (If your startup drive is not C, replace "C:" at the beginning with the name of your startup drive.) Player.log is the log file of the currently running (or last running) Touhou Gensou Mahjong, and Player-prev.log is the log file of the previous run.
If a bug occurs
If a bug occurs, close the application (if you have not yet terminated Fantasy Mahjong), and then copy the above log file "Player.log" to sent through Mediascape(this game's Publisher)'s support portal. You can attach files up to 2 MB in the "Inquiry for specified products" form. If the file is large, we would appreciate it if you could Zip it. Please describe the situation in which the bug occurred in the description of your inquiry.
