We've been working away based on bug reports and our own feature adds, and as of the latest build, here's what we've done:

New stuff!
  • The store is in now so you have somewhere to spend your opals (check the alley). not everything will be available at first.
  • Added rare "dire" variants of all fish since folks seem to be enjoying the fishing minigame
  • The fish music now resumes if you continue fishing within a few seconds.

Fixes!
  • Fixed a few battle bugs. since the underlying systems are quite complex we do sometimes get odd edge cases, so keep reporting these if you find them (with video if possible!)
  • Hopefully squashed all UI locks. menus were stacking on top of each other causing a few softlocks, but these should be sorted now.
  • Fixed some mesh/boundary issues

There's still (a little) more to come and more bug fixes as we find them, so stay tuned, and thanks for playing!

Oh, and to be clear, we've gotten a few questions and yes - anyone can stream the game who would like to! We encourage it!
Thanks!

Riven - Hannah
Thank you for playing our demo of Riven! Here is a list of information about the current build you are on that you should know about.

Windows (including Steam Deck)/Mac build number: e3406-p25005

You can find the build number above in the Options → Help section of the menu.

Fixes/changes made a part of this new build on June 14th

Major

  • Fixed a crash that could occur on some machines just walking around
  • Fixed a crash on startup that could occur if you had an incomplete or old OpenXR installation
  • Fixed some issues with the interactions on the telescope
  • Integrated DLSS 3.7; performance on Windows cards that support it is even better now
  • (Mac only) Integrated MetalFX

Minor

  • Improved the graphics settings menu to show which settings need to be applied vs. which settings have an immediate effect. Moved the Apply button into the Display subheader in Graphics settings menu
  • Atrus’ hair has been age-ified a bit
  • Improved the appearance of the telescope view on Temple Island
  • Fixed some black rocks around Temple Island
  • Improved the look of the stroboscope icons
  • Fixed some visibility regions aggressively hiding some areas when they should not be hidden
  • Fixed the old gate pin being clickable again once you click on it the first time
  • Continued polishing some animation sequences and character appearances
  • Renamed FSR to FSR 2.2 for clarity on version of FSR we are using
  • Various minor texture improvements and fixes
  • Added some foliage to Temple Island
  • Fixed some minor hitches occurring as you walk around the game
  • Fixed a duplicate fade occurring when you start a new game from the main menu.
  • Added a blur effect to the menu only when you are on the top-level menu from the in-game menu
  • Fixed footstep sounds in the rotating room on Temple Island
  • Fix for the motion controller something being able to bypass puzzles by sticking your hand through walls
  • Added a trigger to close the Temple Island PMD when you get far enough away from it
  • Fixed motion blur setting not being respected

Existing considerations
  • If you are experiencing a crash on startup, and if you have a customized or older VR setup with options you can’t recall whether or not you’ve turned on or off, please disable the “motion compensation layer” in your OpenXR backend settings. Yes, this can even impact the game when you launch it in 2D. This appears to be an engine bug prevalent in our version of Unreal.
Cast Out Colony - Natis
Hey there! Nathan the Game Dev here!

Time for an update with a highly requested feature:
AUTO AIM!

We've added more content to the game for those that have mastered Blood Moon too!

As always, if you are enjoying the game, please drop us a review! We appreciate all of you for playing our little bug game!

EA 0.3 Patch Notes

  • Auto Aim - this highly requested feature has finally arrived! Toggle your auto aim in arenas.
  • Antonio has received an updated character model! Smashing insectivores never looked so cool!
  • Changed the Player/Enemy interaction - Before, players could get caught in the horde of enemies when trying to run through the crowd. This would stop the player's momentum and be frustrating! Now players will be able to effortlessly run through the enemy pack. However, the player will still take damage when touching the enemies.
  • 2 New Mystic Skills - Piercing Sting and Leaf Barrage! (Check the Great Skill Tree on how to obtain these) These new Mystic skills provide upgrades for Queen Bea's and Mighty Green's base active skills, respectively!
  • 2 New Difficulties - Sun and Supergiant
  • Character Statues for new beating Sun and Supergiant!
  • Achievements for unlocking Sun and Supergiant and beating the mode with the respective character!
  • General UI and gameplay adjustments

War of Wheels - Drestsi
Welcome to the War of Wheels demo! War of Wheels is a fast-paced car combat game in an original "medievalpunk" setting.
In this demo it is possible to play an "Arcade" type game in single player against bots, or in "Story" mode, with arena fights (similar to Arcade mode), with the addition of a freely explorable map and open field battles and with the possibility of trying the initial quest of the campaign.
New arenas will be added soon for the Arcade and new explorable biomes with related combat maps for the Story mode.

STARTING A GAME

To start a game, select PLAY and choose ARCADE SINGLEPLAYER or STORY. In the case of both options, the game begins immediately when they are selected.

SINGLE PLAYER ARCADE
This mode consists of an arena deathmatch between 8 competitors (1 player + 7 bots) in which the winner is the one who kills the most and suffers the fewest deaths within 5 minutes.
Before selecting ARCADE SINGLEPLAYER, you must choose your car by pressing the GARAGE button from the top menu and selecting the class icon (those currently playable are Knight and Ranger).
In the arena there are both traps to avoid, such as fire traps and explosive barrels, and consumable barrels to heal yourself.
STORY
The kingdom of Zeranthia, following the War of Wheels, is subjugated by the Emperor, but combat vehicles have spread throughout the realm: be the first driver to change history!
The campaign features a fully explorable strategic map from which missions can be carried out to advance the story.
"Outposts" of different types are scattered throughout the map, where you can purchase or build new weapons, recruit your own units and modify your vehicle; you can also participate in the Gladiator Games at the Arenas.
Finally, by exploring the map, it is possible to come across the "Marauders", enemy vehicles that can be faced in open field battles, where you can fight alongside your army.

CUSTOMIZE YOUR CAR

You can select one of the available classes by pressing the GARAGE button from the top menu and clicking on the class icon. By selecting the CUSTOMIZE button you will be able to modify the weapons from the WEAPONS panel and the aesthetics from the COSMETICS panel. Each time you make a change, press SAVE to save the current configuration.

At any time you can press Right/Left Arrow or WASD to rotate the car (Xbox controller: you can rotate the car via Left Analog Stick or D-pad Right-Left), press Up/Down Arrow or A-D to zoom on car ( Xbox Controller: D-Pad Up-Down) and press Left Shift to show/hide the UI (Xbox Controller: Left Analog stick click).
You can add one or more custom decorations by clicking "Cosmetics" in the COSMETICS panel, choosing the decoration and placing it on the car with the Mouse (Xbox Controller: Right Analog stick). In positioning mode, you can rotate the car by pressing Left/Right Arrow or WASD (Xbox controller: Left Analog Stick or Left/Right Arrow).
Clicking the equipped decoration icon again allows you to remove it.
It is also possible to perform the following operations on the decorations: Scale - Rotate - Mirror (see command list at the bottom of the guide to learn the shortcuts).

THE CLASSES

The currently playable classes are the Knight (in ARCADE SINGLEPLAYER and STORY) and the Ranger (only in ARCADE SINGLEPLAYER);
Knight: Balanced class, prefers close combat. His passive skill allows him to inflict massive damage on enemies when he reaches high speed and hits with his melee weapons: spears, blades and hammer (the spears start to glow and leave a trail). His active skill allows him to protect himself, negating damage for a short period of time.
Ranger: balanced class with high speed, prefers ranged combat. His passive ability makes him immune to traps. The active ability allows him to heal himself instantly.

NOTE: During combat, you can slash with a melee weapon by pressing the weapon's button. If you hold down the button, the weapon (except for the “War Hammer”) is drawn and deals damage when it comes into contact with an enemy. When a weapon is drawn you cannot attack with other weapons;
You cannot use more than one weapon at a time.

The trial version was updated at around midnight on June 15th, Japan time.
We apologize for the inconvenience, but if you downloaded it before then,
please update it from the store page.

・Fixed an issue where if you were wiped out after defeating the gatekeepers on each floor,
a staircase would appear on the first floor of the next dungeon
even though the gatekeepers had not been defeated.

・Fixed an issue where Priests and Mages had "skills" that were not displayed correctly in the menu skills.

・When using the mouse on the menu screen or the status/equipment/skill screen,
you could not select a character unless you returned to the main menu.
Now, a click button is placed in the bottom right corner,
allowing you to select a character directly from each page.

・Other minor bugs have been fixed.
