This update provides improvements in the appearance of the hero, as well as a significant performance boost. Echoes of Egypt is now fully compiled from C++ source code instead of the slower .NET version.
The next update is going to involve a remade Stealth game level to look less like a bunch of untextured objects and ramps and more like an actual building interior, cartoonish, and more replayability along with other adjustments to the other games.
This is a minor update to fix all the bugs reported on our Discord server. We were originally planning to focus solely on the next big update however this cluster of bugs was affecting the gameplay considerably, so we decided to push out an early update to fix as many as possible. The following is the complete changelog:
- Added search functionality to stores. - Added leaderboards username wrapping. - Added more Frost Goblins around Duhvic. - Fixes lootbags not appearing. - Fixes players sometimes not appearing. - Fixes Queen Ant boss causing lag spikes. - Fixes guild username input length. - Fixes main menu moving locations upon startup when screen is resized. - Fixes arrow/key movement opening bank improperly. - Fixes party invite username length, username formatting, and joining/leaving/kick messages. - Fixes stun lock stopping being choppy. - Fixes death screen interface becoming stuck if the inventory or any other UI was open. - Fixes encryption-related issues causing packets to get lost. - Fixes skill element UI issues with the progress bar. - Fixes disconnection issues when battling many mobs at once. - Fixes weapon enchantments available on bows not working on melee weapons (e.g. stun). - Fixes bank deposit to make items go into the currently open tab. - Fixes issues with following and reworks the whole interaction system. - Fixes random event mobs spawning in walls. - Fixes pet reappearing if picked up while moving. - Updated fish prices for all fishes. - More forageables are now stackable. - Increased snow potion and fire potion duration to 5 minutes. - Improves divinity and enchanter interface selection. - Improves bank loading time and decreases network usage. - Disabled unnecessary drag and dropping in the trading interface.
Starting today, the game's steam page and demo are now available!! This has been a long time coming and is super relieving to have out of the way.

-Added controller glyphs for most puzzles, and some controller support. This is an ongoing project. Some puzzles are still difficult to do with controller (Five-Year-Old, Draft) and one you still can't do (Enter Password). I'm hoping to add full controller support soon.
-Made performance improvements. This is an ongoing project. I am working at rewriting the main puzzle selection code, which is really not performant. I also was able to reduce the size of the game download by 50%.
