We’ve got exciting news to share about a new and different “mod project turned full-blown release” from our team. If you remember 2007’s Age of Chivalry mod, you may also remember 2011’s award-winning Source mod No More Room in Hell.
At Summer Game Fest 2024, we announced that No More Room in Hell 2’s original developer, Lever Games, was acquired by Torn Banner. The new game is a commercial release in the same world as the 2011 mod, and will be worked on by a core team of veterans from Torn Banner and Lever Games’ No More Room in Hell 2 team.
We’re excited to once again utilize our skills and expertise in turning passion-project mod franchises into deep and exciting premium releases that will stand the test of time! Both Chivalry and No More Room in Hell share a compelling DNA of “putting yourself on the ground level” of a cinematically inspired scenario - whether that’s your boots in the dirt of a medieval battlefield, or in the scared shoes of a desperate survivor in a life-like zombie apocalypse.
At the PC Gaming Show, we spoke about Co-op with Consequences and about our shared heritage. No More Room in Hell 2 is an intense permadeath co-op journey into the eerie darkness of zombie-infested zones. As an emergency responder, you must survive, scavenge, stockpile and fulfill your mission - then repeat, each time in an ever-changing experience.
We followed those announcements up with a Livestream for No More Room in Hell 2, talking to the developers and showing off some never-before-seen aspects of the game.
