Trombone Champ - holywowstudios
Hi everyone! Trombone Champ has been updated to 1.22D! This update adds three new songs, each of which we're very excited about: "Toccata and Fugue," "The Four Seasons (Summer)," and a "Trombone Champ Medley" that unlocks after beating the game. There are also some other small bugfixes and tweaks "under the hood."

⚠ As usual, this update may require updating some mods! In the meantime, if you need to, you can play the previous version of the game by right-clicking the game in Steam, choosing Properties, clicking the Betas tab, and choosing last_version in the dropdown. But if you do this, please switch back to the newest version whenever you can!

On the PC side, this update isn't that huge - we spent a lot of this time researching input stuff for the Nintendo Switchℱ version of the game, which should also receive an update today. That update has the potential to make Joy-Conℱ performance better, and we're really excited about it!

Meanwhile, we're continuing to plug away at stuff that will eventually allow us to enable Steam Workshop. We've gone quite a bit of work on something very fun, which we hope to be able to share soon... we're at that slightly frustrating point where we have lots of cool stuff we'd love to show, but it's not quite ready to show yet. Trust us when we say we're working on it!

A Note for Mac Users
Thanks to a user on the discussion boards, we're now aware that the game's performance on Mac is not great on Sonoma. Previously, our primary Mac was a year behind on OS updates. We upgraded that machine to Sonoma and noticed an immediate performance hit. Needless to say, this is super annoying... a game dev's worst nightmare is an OS upgrade that breaks their game. However, we're looking into various ways to fix it!

Ultimately, the solution will probably be to release a Mac version built with a newer version of Unity. This will most likely address the performance issue, although it will probably cause other issues in terms of compatibility: specifically, any user-made content that uses Assetbundles will not work in builds that use newer versions of Unity. In the meantime, apologies, and thank you for your patience!

(On the bright side, we've added two resolutions to the Mac version that may fit Mac laptop screens better.)

Time to get ready for what’s coming next, Festival-goers!

With Ubisoft Forward fast approaching, we wanted to thank you all for an amazing first year, your continued feedback, and for making The Crew Motorfest what it is today!

We have some exciting news to share with you next week, but before that, we wanted to give you a first look at what's coming for the end of Year 1:

Season 4 will be your next stop at Motorfest – and trust us, your customization skills will have to reach new heights as we kick off a brand-new playlist.

Maybe your motivation is aesthetics. Perhaps it’s all about comfort and style. It can even be as simple as restoring a classic, or just being the flashiest and having the most noticeable ride at the festival.
The passion is the same, only the methods vary – Restomod, Designer Customizations, Classic American and JDM tweaks and adaptations. Customization as the single best way of expressing yourself within the very open court of car culture is something to be celebrated, but also nourished.

This season we not only recognize car customization culture, but provide all the tools to live it, and participate in it... and maybe even educate yourself, setting you off on your own Custom Journey!

Welcome to Donk vs Lowrider World!
The Motorfest shows off two mythical universes of the US Custom Culture: Donk and Lowrider.

Two communities sharing their urban identities and their passion for cars: chill on one side, speed on the other, but always with style and swagger.
Choose your side, learn the specificities of each car culture following various workshops and face-offs, and slowly customize your own Donk car or Lowrider.

Hosted by two personalities invited by the Motorfest, this playlist is all about custom rivalry, and you’ll have to show that your style is the best.

Season 4 and this new Playlist will be available for free to all players on July 3rd.

But that’s not the only good news we have in store for you today!

We are happy to announce that Abarth, Alfa Romeo and Lancia will arrive in The Crew Motorfest on June 13, bringing more than 17 new vehicles to the festival, including two brand-new cars: the Alfa Romeo 33 Stradale (1968) and the Alfa Romeo GIULLIA GTAm (2021).

You may have seen some of them in The Crew 2 already – those will now be eligible for the Collection Import, free to be transferred to The Crew Motorfest.

But That’s Not All!
To properly celebrate this announcement, the mesmerizing Alfa Romeo 33 Stradale (1968) will be available as a Twitch Drop Reward during Ubisoft Forward.
The car will also be available in The Crew Motorfest shop on June 13th.

Yes, The Crew Motorfest will be present at the conference, and we will have more big announcements about Year 2 to make there!

Xenonauts 2 - Goldhawk
This update is also only accessible by switching to our Experimental branches (instructions on how to do so here) - although please be aware they have slower load times and worse performance than normal builds due to the extra logging they contain!

Gameplay Updates:
  • The Colossus Armour and Exosuit armour have been swapped around in the tech tree, and their stats and construction cost have been updated accordingly. There is now also an upgrade project for the Colossus unlocked from the Harvester UFO which allows you to improve their armour, which keeps them semi-relevant into the endgame (although the Exosuit is much better general-purpose armour).
  • We've moved the Global Panic caused by a UFO finishing it's mission successfully onto the anomalies, which means that UFOs gradually inflict Global Panic as they fly around generating anomalies rather than it all happening at once at the end of the mission.
  • Made several changes to the way Cleaner reinforcements work on the Data Raid / Eliminate VIP missions to discourage people spawn camping the reinforcements:
    • Enemy reinforcements now spawn with 50% Time Units, instead of zero Time Units.
    • Cleaner reinforcements now escalate more quickly, with subsequent waves of reinforcements coming 3 turns after the first reinforcements and having twice as many enemies.
    • Mission briefings should now specify accurate values for what turn the reinforcements arrive, and the "enemy reinforcements have arrived" dialogue conversations should now trigger on the correct turns.
  • The first Destroyer to spawn on the Geoscape now always contains Sebillians.
  • Returned the interceptor power generation values to what they were in Milestone 3 (10 for Angel, 13 for Phantom, 15 for Gemini).
  • ARES now has 100 HP rather than 1200 HP, as I made a typo in the last build.
  • When in grenade / medikit targeting mode, the game will no longer preview the portrait / stats of other soldiers when you hover over their minitabs at the top of the screen (because doing this cancelled the grenade / medikit use).
  • Updated the art on the Fusion Charge so it glows fusion green rather than plasma blue.
  • Slight damage increase (~10%) on the Combat Knife and Energy Knife.
  • Panic reduction for winning a Terror Site reduced to -10 local Panic from -20 local Panic.
  • Alien Psi-Amp is now marked as Junk on the stores screen.
  • Briefcase of Money item now has an image, and is a 4x3 inventory item that weighs 10.
  • Added some new sounds for construction of a base on the Geoscape, and for demolishing base structures.
Bugfixes:
  • Fixed a crash that could occur when you tried to throw a grenade with a Colossus soldier.
  • Fixed a crash that could occur if you destroyed a shipping container with a unit on top of it.
  • Fixed selling a dropship causing the player to lose all items equipped on soldiers assigned to that dropship.
  • Fixed an issue with the Laser: Recharge project not correctly upgrading the ammo in the planned loadouts of Unassigned soldiers.
  • Fixed the "Eternal Interrogation" research project unlocking after you completed the Alien Leader interrogation, even if you had not captured an Eternal.
  • Fixed soldiers that already died of bleeding wounds continuing to take damage and trigger info toasts at the start of each round.
  • Fixed players being unable to save loadout changes if all they changed was toggling the Heavy Armour toggle on / off.
  • Fixed the Shielded Plating aircraft armour item incorrectly using the Alloy Plating item art.
  • Fixed abduction tubes continuing to play their humming sound even if they had teleported away due to the mission timer expiring.
  • Fixed freed civilians on Abduction missions not being counted in the post-mission Debrief line about surviving civilians.
  • Fixed some broken floor tiles on the ATLAS Base 3 map.
  • Fixed the Harvester UFO hull dropshadow darkness being inconsistent between the landed and crashed variants.
  • Fixed there being no sound played when you demolished a building that was under construction.
