The brand-new Highway Patrol Expansion is just two weeks away – and we can't wait to finally introduce all the frequently requested features like car chases, PIT maneuvers, two new patrol cars, and much more! 🎉
This will be by far the biggest addition to Police Simulator: Patrol Officers yet. However, we have one more surprise left in store: An option to change your uniforms will finally come into the game as part of the Highway Patrol Expansion! And maybe it will become even more in the future...
Watch the new episode of ON PATROL above to see the outfits in action! 🔥
The Highway Patrol Expansion will be available on June 18, 2024, for PC, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One at a price of 19.99€ / $19.99.
* Known Wolves: NPC wolves spawned on other maps are not assigned names at birth. * Hellroaring Mountain DLC: Territory hexes on east edge of map are unclaimable. * Hellroaring Mountain DLC: Chewed Radio Collar mispositioned when summer pup is carrying it. * Small white sphere at entrance to one Amethyst den. * One AM den doesn't glow in scent view. * Minor terrain and water issues.
First, let's address the elephant in the room. Yes, news about RUTHLESS:1 were basically non-existant in the last year. But fear not, it is still in active development, things were just slower than expected.
What happened? Lots of experimenting with new technologies led to some time consuming tasks and since RUTHLESS:1 is still a one-man-project, this had a much bigger impact than I imagined but the results were worth it. Also, I noticed a lot of stuff that felt just not polished enough. A non-trivial amount of code was rewritten completely and lots of previously undetected bugs were fixed.
What are the consequences? While this was never officially announced, RUTHLESS:1 was planned to enter Early Access in June 2024. I want to offer a great experience with the game, so that target has become unattainable. I'm really sorry, and I want to apologize to anyone, who is waiting for a new version.
But you're probably waiting for that announcement. Here it comes: RUTHLESS:1 will enter Early Access in Q4 2024 and it will start at the small price of 5€ (may differ in regions with other currencies). Also, from now on, important milestones during development will be shared here, so stay tuned.
We appreciate all the feedback and bug reporting on Discord and Steam! We are dropping another Hotfix to keep improving your hunting experience!

Our next Steam release will be a unique animation tool, Argus.
Argus is animation software which uses 3D hardware and game technology to create animations in lightning-fast time.
The aim of Argus was to create a system where 3D objects (Actors) can be started and moved as easily as triggering notes in a music sequencer. Actors can be programmed move in exact ways using modulators attached to any axis of movement (or angle, or scale, or alpha transparency). If you need precise control, you can place objects in exact places on exact frames, and you can even use the mouse to move objects in real-time, recording exact movements.
