Important notes regarding online play:
- To connect to online, mathchmaker server should now be set to `lokmcpce2uzezmh2iq3vf23cbu3grzrct66qcpdfrizmcrrlk5uq`. Check settings, and press Reset on Networking tab to fix if not correct.

Known Issues:
- In online play, players may get hung on black screen during round transitions rarely.
- A crash on connecting to online match has been observed but working on reproduction. If your game crashes in this situation (or any) please mention in discord or github - It may help us track it down. Thanks!

The cool stuff (Networking / Iroh):
Previously in online matches all players connecting to matchmaking server and relayed requests through it. This led to very high latency depending on player locations. We now use Iroh's awesome tech to connect players directly P2P (lower latency). In the case that a player cannot be directly connected to, a relay is used for only that player. Everyone should be connectable, but possibly HUGE improvements to latency for players who were previously not close to our server.

Please give online a try with friends, nearby or across the globe, and let us know what the network experience is like. Thanks!

Our Adventurer Guild - TheGreenGuy
- Fixed some missing/wrong texts

Some context: I'm currently also working on replacing the strings in the game to make it easier to translate the game. I tried my best to not let it impact any of the current text in the game but there might some instances where it might seem off. Please let me know if you encounter any strange text in the game.

Hello, dear players!

This update includes various improvements and new content that you have been waiting for. Please check out the main changes below.

Unlocked Affection Lv 2 and More Events
  • New Lv1 Events for Noru, Taemin, and Junho // Unlocked Level 2:
We have added a large number of events for these three characters, and you can now progress to Affection Level 2. Additional conversations and phone content have been added to deepen your relationships with them.

  • New Affection Level 2 Events for Seha and Jaewon // Improved Event Conditions:
Several Affection Level 2 events have been added for Seha (and Jaewon). We have also made it easier for you to find Seha and engage with him by reducing the requirements for many events.

  • Less Requirements for Various Events:
The requirements for events such as Junho's protest and Seha's evening escort were rather steep. We've made it easier to find them.

Other Improvements

  • Added a CG Gallery:
You can now revisit collected CGs in the game. Please note that CGs discovered before this update will not be unlocked, so you will need to replay the game from the beginning to view them again.

  • Added Affection Indicators:
Now you can directly check the current affection level when you talk to each character. We have also added the affection indicator dialogues to supporting characters. You can now visually confirm the progression of your relationships more easily. We have also added various quality-of-life changes.

Fixed Bugs

  • Fixed the issue where your improved affection with Junho was not properly reflected.
  • Corrected several typos and issues for Chinese and English.
  • Fixed various minor bugs in basic conversations and other events.

Upcoming Update Preview

  • Dating: Characters like Seha and Taemin will be available to date from Affection Level 2 onwards, which will be released soon. With the addition of the dating feature, you will have more fun and romantic interactions with the cast of Salty Hounds.

  • Affection Content Release: Up until now, due to bug fixes and stabilization efforts, only early-stage events for Affection Level 1 out of a total of 5 levels, on top of some supporting character events and main story events have been available to you. However, we plan to unlock several times more content through continuous updates.

We apologize for the delay in the major update that was announced and prepared last April due to some significant issues. Please look forward to the upcoming addition of the dating feature.

Thank you.

If you encounter any bugs or issues while playing, please let us know through this Google form.

Heralds of the Avirentes - Ch. 1 Wings of Change - TellerySpyro_GTX
Greetings, brave explorers of Nanraas! Here’s a list of upcoming HotA balance changes:

Balance: Gherstie’s “Blazing wave” skill now deals less damage to psio-creatures and the om’veri, but it deals more damage to other types of enemies instead.
Balance: Gherstie’s "Wing strike" skill (will be renamed to “Cutting wing” in further updates) now deals more damage.
Balance: Azaries’ “Fiery speech” skill (Aegis Scholar exclusive ability) now applies x2 damage bonus modifier instead of x2,5.
Balance: Gherstie’s friendship damage bonus modifier is now less effective. Once Gherstie’s affection reaches 20+, its effectiveness will reach its previous value.
Balance: “Narration” difficulty attack bonus modifier is now 25% more effective (effect stacks for each Azaries’ level).

Developers’ commentaries: Aegis Scholar (Aegisologist) class proved to be overpowered due to immense bonus damage modifier applied to Azaries’ allies in battle. In order to make this class more consistent and balances, we decided to decrease the attack bonus damage provided by Azaries skill “Fiery speech”. Also, Gherstie’s friendship damage bonus modifier has been decreased due to it being too effective when stacked with “Fiery Speech” skill damage bonus modifier (in some cases Gherstie could oneshot certain foes or deal over 400 damage).

Byte Breach - pantheonix.games
Hey Data Rebels!

Welcome to the first Byte Breach Status. We're here to share some of the cool stuff we've been working on and give you a sneak peek into the wild world of Byte Breach. Byte Breach is developed by just two passionate individuals. Ready to dive in?

What is Byte Breach?
Welcome to Byte Breach, a co-op survival-horror game set in a dystopian future ruled by AI overlords. As a brave data rebel, your mission is to infiltrate high-security AI fortresses, steal valuable data, and disrupt the digital tyranny. Byte Breach combines strategic planning, teamwork, and clever tactics with a spooky twist, blending intense heists with nerve-wracking horror. Think of it as navigating a haunted maze where your greatest enemy is an all-seeing, all-knowing AI system.

Recent Developments
We’re still in the early stages, but we’ve got some awesome (and a little rough around the edges) features to show you. Check out these sneak peeks:

Spider Crawling
Meet our spider-like enemy, still learning to navigate like a pro. Our procedural animation and navigation system is coming together, and it’s looking pretty creepy.

Wheel Locomotion
Say hello to the "Death Wheel." This early footage shows its unique movement mechanics. It’s not rolling smoothly yet, but it’s getting there!

Specter Patrol
Watch our Specter drones patrol their environments like they own the place. This early look shows off their navigation skills in complex spaces.

Data Collection
Data collection is the name of the game. Here’s a raw look at how you’ll extract and secure information. It’s still very-very rough, but you get the idea.

Capsules Traveling
Traveling between the digital and real worlds is a key mechanic. Check out this early footage showing how you’ll zip between realities.

Procedural Levels
Every mission is a new adventure thanks to our procedural level generation.

Drak(c)ula Playtest - Simen
After trying out different ways to punish players for typing wrong I am back at where I started with deleting the word when a mistake is typed. While the other things I tried feels more effective and allows for self correction if found that you didn't get the same sense of accomplishment when compleating a word. I want every word to feel like a small victory, and then I can not make it possible to complete a word without mastering it, memorising its spelling and the position of all the keys that are in the word.

I added a sound effect when pressing a keyboard key; each key has a different pitch. I am hoping that a sound associated with keys will activate a larger portion of the brain when training and speed up the process.

I have changed how the keyboard hints work. Instead of the fading-out effect, they are now a timer that shows you the next key after a short period of time. You can now write slowly and follow the hints, and when you know a key, you can type it from memory and increase your speed.
