Corpse Master Carnage is getting a BIG update next week (AND THAT'S JUST THE BEGINNING), check out what's changing in the game here.

- ALL MAPS WILL CHANGE, reworked, with new names, new identities, new easter eggs, new and EXCLUSIVE perks for each map. Maps will now have AVERNAL BARRIERS, these barriers can be destroyed by Round Up, leveling up, or even spending your points to open them!

The new maps available ON THE DAY THE UPDATE IS RELEASED:
- Hideout 116 (The Bunker reworked)
- Abandoned (Nightmare reworked)

- I'm going to remove the point limit. Kill, make the blood spurt and EARN AS MANY POINTS AS YOU CAN.

- The perk limit will also change. Now you can consume as many perks as you want, you just need to level up and your perk cap will go up AUTOMATICALLY as well.

- Level rewards have been removed, and now you'll have other methods to get powerups!
(The bat that used to shoot next to you has now turned into a PERK MACHINE! Exactly, you just need to buy it and you can improve its damage as many times as you want!)

- The main hub has also been COMPLETELY reworked, you now access the maps through a large electric portal on the ground. You choose the map and enter the portal.

Feature Changes
  • The number of rounds won is now displayed in the top right of the screen.
  • At the end of the round, the screen will now show "VICTORY" or "DEFEAT" depending on your results.
  • Completely turned off the vertical tracking that occured when resetting the camera in Classic controls.
  • Improved network synchronization.
  • Slightly raised the upper limit of movement speed.
  • Weapon attacks can now only deal up to a certain maximum amount of damage in one hit to avoid single hits causing too much damage.
Balancing
  • Crabs now have a harder time getting back up when they have accumulated too much damage (roughly more than 200%).
  • Slightly lowered the damage dealt by the chainsaw.

As previously announced, after the update maintenance on Thursday, May 30th, we identified an issue where the performance of the Knights of Veda was not functioning as intended.
The development team has verified all the incorrect data, and we plan to readjust the identified issues back to the state before the May 30th (Thursday) patch during today's temporary maintenance.
The details of the incorrect adjustments are as follows, and please note that these may differ from the balance patch planned for the Knights of Veda on Thursday, June 13th.

■ Adjustment Details
- The reduction in time (0.2 seconds) for melee attack-type Knights of Veda to execute the next motion after evading will be readjusted to the state before the May 30th update.
- The limit on the 'Elemental Overload Charging' stat, which was applied at 100%, will be readjusted to the state before the May 30th update.
- The 50% reduction in Veda energy recovery efficiency when using Sarka's normal skill 'Thunder Strike' will be readjusted to the state before the May 30th update.
- The condition for triggering the 'Dark Visions' effect upon hitting three times, instead of four times, with Arin's normal skill 'Death's Grip' will be readjusted to the state before the May 30th update.
- The increased range and speed of the third and fourth attacks of the Arin's normal attack 'Shadow Slash' will be readjusted to the state before the May 30th update.
- The adjustment causing Veleno to move backward when using the signature skill 'Metastases of Poisoning' will be readjusted to the state before the May 30th update.
- The increased skill judgment range for Andrei's signature skill 'Blazing Pillar' will be readjusted to the state before the May 30th update.
- The reduced hit count for Eliyar's strong attack 'Fine Sight' will be readjusted to the state before the May 30th update.

He can use his mobility to quickly approach targets; when he enters the accelerated mode, some of his skills will be enhanced; 'Xiao Yi's' normal attacks and certain skills will apply an epidemic poison effect to the target. The epidemic poison not only causes continuous damage to the target but also triggers additional negative effects after accumulating to a certain level!

Dead Monarchy - Kevin Zhang
Hey guys,

This build will have quite an impact on ongoing playthroughs so a new playthrough is suggested, but not required. It is suggested due to the new "Deployment Menu". Overall, this update continues with more UI improvements.

If you already have a playthrough with "Instant Deployment" enabled, then the playthrough should be fine.

Here are the instructions on accessing the beta version.

Opting In:

- Right click Dead Monarchy.
- Select “Properties”.
- Select “Betas” on the left menu.
- Select “roaming - Experimental build” from the drop down list.

Deployment Menu:

- Manual deployment is now being phased out. If you have an existing playthrough it will still trigger but you will not have the option to toggle it on and off. Manual deployment is being phased out due to there being issues that I just couldn't fix (disappearing deployment grids, wonky camera etc). It's only used during early game and once your party is close to 18, it starts becoming a chore.

- The option "Instant Deployment" is now essentially toggled on by default and not accessible in options. This option always existed however the deployment itself was quite wonky and couldn't be used with smaller party sizes as the player did not have control over where they could place the units in relation to the UI.

- So now, there is a dedicated "Organise" menu where the player will configure their deployment position and drag and drop who is in active/reserve groups. You can no longer drag and drop into active/reserve in the "inventory/perks" menu, you can only do this in the "Organise" menu, otherwise it will break things.




- Within the "Organise" menu, the top box is active and bottom box is reserve, as usual you can drag and drop between the two boxes. The difference is the representation of the active box will match the deployment positions in all battle maps and it also allows for empty positions, meaning the first combatant doesn't always have to be in the top left-hand box. In other words, it is just a literal depiction of the formation. If you want your player captain to spawn in the second line, middle position, then all you need to do is to drag him into the corresponding position within the UI (orange highlighted portrait) and then the player captain will auto deploy in that same position whenever a battle occurs.

- These changes naturally do not reflect in ambush battles, as deployment in ambush battles is not two straight lines.

- I had to manually go through all 250+ battle maps to update their positions in relation to the UI so let me know if you encounter any issues, IE deployment positions not matching up with the UI.

Sorting Keys:




- Sorting keys have been added to Inventory and Marketplace menus. Previously the sorting options were all bound to one key that you would have to click multiple times to cycle through. That was made due to UI limitations however it resulted in the player not knowing what current "sort" filter they were currently on. This has all been reworked now.

- "Quality Filter", there is a separate filter button and it will sort the items from lowest quality to highest. Lowest items at the top so it means selling items will be faster.

- "Lowest Price", there is a separate filter button and it will sort items from lowest price to highest.

- "Highest Price", there is a separate filter button and it will sort items from highest price to lowest.

- The previous sorting button, "curved arrow" icon, will now just sort items in the order that they were added to the inventory, IE the default filter.

Fixes:

1. Fixed the issue of dynamic portraits showing the player's feet when "Faster Movement" is enabled.

2. Sorting of stacked items now takes into account the entire stack value rather than individual price.

3. Fixed the issue of roaming patrols breaking after interacting with the treasure chests that spawn in the overworld maps.

4. Fixed the issue of roaming patrols breaking after completing locations spawned by contracts.
