Slightly reduced the boss defenses for higher levels. They were becoming a bit too powerful.
Fixed an issue about "to hit" indicator on the monster cards. It was showing smaller numbers than 5% although there is no smaller hit percentage than 5%.
Hi everyone, just wanted to give an announcement since it's been over a week since the last update.
I am currently finishing a big update and hope to have it done by the end of the week. I totally revamped the skill system and added the Combat skill. Each skill will have 50 levels now and you'll get a talent point to spend every other level. So there will be talents now for each skill. I hope this adds to a feeling of progression and gives more visibility into how you're progressing. Since there are 50 levels, you'll gain levels faster in the beginning and feel like you're making a lot of progress early on. Of course, the levels will take more and more experience as you level up. I'll hope for your feedback if it's too fast or slow. There will be a lot of balance tweaks I'm sure.
I am also improving the introduction and initial quest line. I want the start of the game to feel more interesting and streamlined. The game is pretty solid in terms of gameplay but I need to work more on the world-building and story of the game. There needs to be a more interesting story line for the game. I want new players to be able to get into the game, follow along the main quest line and experience a full story. I'm getting there, but I keep getting sucked into doing more and more gameplay stuff (like talent trees and other quality of life improvements). In any good RPG, you play through the main quest line and at the end you look back at your achievements and how far you've come and think "wow, what an experience it was". That's my goal for this game. A more immersive story is a must IMO.
Anyways, those are my thoughts for now, hope to see an update near the end of the week or maybe later. See you in the next update.
