I.Major Improvements:

Added support for English language.
Can initiate wars in areas where exploration reaches 100%, capturing them to gain additional resources.
Can steal and rob from NPCs that haven't joined players.
Significantly increased dialogues, including tutorial prompts and some main storyline.
Fixed numerous bugs.


II. For Convenient Mod Adjustments:
The game is currently in the Early Access stage and is not very polished. It is not recommended for players to create mods at this stage, but it is possible to modify certain skill, item, and dialogue parameters.

1. Editable Data Path
Some of the game's editable data can be found at the following path:
Game Root Directory\The Nine Tailed Celestial Fox_Data\StreamingAssets\Languages\
Inside this directory, you will find language folders such as:
\cn for Chinese
\en for English
Within these folders, you can find most of the game data, including martial arts, elixirs, materials, bosses, etc.

2. Editing Files
These files are originally edited in Excel and then exported as CSV documents. You can open these CSV documents with a text editor, make changes, and save them. The game will automatically read and use these modified data.
Notes:
a.Both CSV and TXT files must be in UTF-8 format to avoid garbled text or errors.
b.If you only modify the English data, only the English version of the game will reflect those changes.
c.Approximately 20% of martial arts and elixirs have special skills that are written separately and cannot be edited via CSV files.
d.The XLSX files in the document folders can be ignored. The system only reads CSV and TXT files. XLSX files are kept for easier viewing.

3. Translating Content
Translating all the text under the Languages directory will cover about 99% of the game's content.

Explanation of Possible Translation Issues
Our game includes place names, monsters, plants, deities, meridians, and acupoints from the Chinese classic "Shan Hai Jing" (Classic of Mountains and Seas) from over 2000 years ago. Consequently, about 30% of the characters are rare or obscure. With the help of AI, we have managed to release an English version, but it is not perfectly accurate. Many parts had to be transliterated into pinyin. However, this may actually be a relief for global players since many of these characters are not easily understood by Chinese players either, and without pinyin, they cannot even be read.

III. Short-term Improvement Plans:
The overall development direction of the game is a sandbox experience with aimless exploration. We will continue to enhance the randomness and fun of the maps and dungeons.
Introducing a martial arts tournament system, including tournaments for marriage proposals. Players can watch and bet, or participate themselves. Gradually implementing special skills for skill cards during battles.
Allowing players to collect outfits. Community feedback will be prioritized for review and modifications.

  • If a hero's attack speed goes over the 10/s limit, every 0.1s overflow grants +1% damage.

QoL Improvements:
  • Added rank text to the minimized hero panels for better visibility.
  • Boss Rush is automatically turned on after prestige (if it’s unlocked).

Bug Fixes:
  • Fixed bug with the super crit chance/damage text displayed in a hero’s stats menu.
  • Fixed some peoples’ leaderboard names being reset.
  • Fixed bug where Prestige Point rewards in Resource Packs and Battlepass were incorrect due to the Cemetery map perk effect.

Quality of Life 🌱

- Improved the feedback form; it was previously hiding the mouse cursor.
- Now the version label is fixed to the corner to pinpoint which version is having issues.

Balance ⚖️

- Adjusted the XP curve so you can have a chance unlocking the Achievement that requires you to upgrade a level 6 card.


- Rock necklace rework: now gives 1 hp to all earth cats each round.


- Upgraded Current cat was giving temporal buffs, it should be permanent for water cats.

Bug Fixes 🪲

- When a player chooses to level up in a "?" encounter, it now actually levels up.


- Fixed a bug where the Circuit card upgraded would spawn 2 copies of itself when defeated, creating an infinite loop.

- Cards changing size/scale after fights, some cards get squashed, so this fix will prevent that.
