It's patch day and it's already live!
While we collect our smaller updates in this thread, this is a big one and includes some news, so here are they!

System Changes:
- Elo System Reworked, let us know how it feels!
- Links added to Cosmions with no links or only 1 link. This will increase the skill expression overall.
- Some on-trigger Cosmions now only work with Attackers as they were letting some truly overpowered combos to happen (Shown as "⚔️ Link" in game)
- Some Upgrades Reworked: Discover them in-game and let us know what you think! :)

🔺🔻General Balance
- In-battle Player HP increased: Fights will take slightly longer and will let some new ramp-up builds to work.
- Credit amount increased in each Stage: You'll get to make more meaningful choices in shop.
- Fog, Toughness and Brittle now diminish over time. We'll keep an eye on this and balance Cosmions that provide these buff / debuffs to companse with the next patch.
- Fusion formula adjustments

🔺🔻👾Cosmion Adjustmens
- Nerfs: Riko, Omnicore, Demoncore, Fire Mira, Flinter
- Buffs: Firefist, Blazeroll, All the Ducks
- Balanced: Air Cosmions (Less Energy usage, more damage, hence further synergy with Crit!)
- Other minor nerf and buffs

Our team is hard at work to bring you more content and better balance as time goes. Now, we'll be focusing on a big Next Fest Update with many new Cosmions on June 10th!

Z.O.N.A: Origin - AGamingTeam
Hello everyone! I would like to share with you the capabilities of the new AI specifically designed for Origin. It seems to have turned out quite well, although it is still under development. This AI can battle other hostile factions as well as mutants. It is capable of throwing grenades and can operate both in groups and solo. In a group, one can distract while others may flank from behind and use other tactical tricks including parkour. In the demo video, I even had to slightly reduce the sniper's capabilities because his initial setup made him too challenging an opponent, especially in urban settings where they are very accurate and adept at maneuvering and choosing cover, targeting you as you leave cover.

We’ve been working hard on some exciting things which are coming next week, from new villager actions, to some sweet new content! So stay tuned, and in the meantime, here is a small patch to address a few things and add a couple of helpful improvements 🙂

  • Added variation to the forms of the rocks you pick up
  • Added a "save and back to main menu” (upon popular demand)
  • Changed the hammer cursor to only appear on valid building materials
  • Fixed long-standing visual glitches when two people contributed to a building at the same time
  • Fixed villagers only remembering and reacting to conversations with each other, and not the player
  • Fixed outdated relationship level when villagers are deciding whether to praise you or slag you off in their own conversations
  • Fixed tools not breaking correctly
  • Fixed flowers in bush icons moving as you move the camera
  • Fixed some objects not being thrown properly

New Unit:
-New Cultist Peon unit

Game Changes:
-Thrive Zombies will now spawn closer (400m to 300m)
-Thrive Zombies will spawn no matter what if less than 10 are on the map
-Bullet speed increased for all units.
-Lab map added to new hudson
-Settings now has a volume slider to adjust master volume
-Soldiers will now avoid getting close while in ai mode

-Fixed Major Crash in thrive mode
-Fixed accidentally removing your units on thrive
-Fixed humans dying in water then turning into zombies

Mark of the Deep - bruno


In the previous beta versions, the playable areas were from the beginning of the game. Thus, we were able to reconsider and optimize some decisions related to the first areas and the balancing of enemies in the early game.

Now, we have decided to introduce a more advanced area of ​​the cursed island into the Playtest: the Abyssal Woods. By exploring it, players will find new skills to unlock, even more enemies to defeat and a new boss!



To test the new beta, just sign up for the Mark of the Deep Playtest, wait until it appears in your library and play! Players who received an invite to the previous playtest still have access to this new playtest, you simply need to update the game on Steam. But for new players: hurry up as spots are limited!

If you already have save data from another beta version of Mark of the Deep, we highly recommend to delete any old save data before starting to play the current version!

Signing up is super easy and quick: just open the game page, find the playtest section under the screenshots and click Request Access. This will grant access to players and the trial version will be available in your Steam library.

Warlords Under Siege - Komisarek
As promised, now that some major reworks are complete and new systems in place, we're looking at adding in some more content! Originally this wasn't planned at all - all we had in mind were 5 maps with three unique races, but that's out of the window now, and we're adding in more.

First, a couple of screenies. Please remember this is a heavy WIP.





One of the things that we think we've done well with WuS since Oasis update came out is map variety. Personally I like challenges that force me to rethink my deck and present an unusual hurdle to jump over.



Not unlike Oasis, you'll be very short on resources here. There is not a single resource node, so you might end up feeling some pressure here. Caravans will arrive from the back of the fort, safe from enemy incursions. You'll be able to utilise the Market building here, or go for a new approach...



I'll preface further discussion with the disclosure that the numbers you see on the card are not final and subject to change :)

Plunder works in a similar way to Philosopher's stone. Every time a melee unit kills an enemy, you receive some resources. By enemy unit we of course mean a single soldier, not an entire squad. You can rack up the resources quite quickly, providing your archers don't do most of the work!

But, but, but... who are we fighting?



Barbarians are joining the fight! You'll be facing off a variety of infantry (both light and heavy) as well as archers and cavalry. Here's a small visual preview of your enemies. Note: don't be mislead by the blue colour - it's just our debug tool :)



We're also working on a bunch of other stuff - for example all units received brand new audio, including much needed charge sounds.
