Updates we are planning for the upcoming times:
Becoming a Hakan: If the player becomes the league champion, he will receive the title of Hakan and will be able to change a rule for the next league. Interacting with leaders: The player's current leaders can interact with the player. Arena development: We changed the arena but we will continue to work on it.
Fixed Bugs:
The “Auto-Renew” button that appears when a leader's contract is about to expire does not appear and the automatic time extension does not work properly. When a unit was moved on the tactics board, the unit would execute the order in its previous position, not the order in the new position.
Hey everyone! I'm pretty sure very few people will read this, but I've released a small path for Chromatic Isle featuring some QoL fixes for you based off of the feedback I've received. Fixed issue for some users in which audio would not play through the entire game (nightmare nightmare nightmare)
Fixed bug for some users where pressing F12 would reset the game instead of taking a screenshot (also nightmare nightmare nightmare)
Improved load times on lower end machines (just don't try to run it on your phone lol)
Fixed bug on some HDR displays where brightness could be set to maximum
Fixed bug for some systems which experienced audio-delay
Fixed issue with lighting in Winter area not rendering properly

Mouse DPI sensitivity settings are inconsistent for some users (but still adjustable and playable)
Solution sound visualizer orbs do not have hitboxes for some players

Thanks to the help form a community member I managed to build a mac version! The performance is (probably) not optimal, but hopefully its workable for the playtest.
Balancing Changes
Grappling Hook limited to 3 uses total You can no longer spam the grappling hook all around but will need to use it strategically
New Shotgun bullet pattern The new patterns have higher damage and range in general as well as 4 additional directions for more versatility
Armor no longer blocks toxic smoke Toxic smoke is not unaffected by the Heavy's Armor ability, making it a good option against her
Block no longer blocks grenades Probably no one even know you could block grenades with Flash' Block ability, and now you can't anymore :)

Hello, builders! It's been a while since last update, but here I am with some news... and some demands.
New feature: fast travel!
The main new feature introduced with this update is the possiblity to fast travel from the map to a bunch of dedicated locations scattered around the main world, in the form of wooden canoes. It isn't much, but I figured this feature could be useful to avoid skating all the way back to reach an old, unsolved level, or to reach the newly opened bridges towards the extra islands. Hope you can find this a handy tool!
The visualization of the key rebinding menu have also been fixed to avoid text overlapping and to remove Italian key names that popped up by default... let me know if it works better now!
And last, the game demo have received a long due update to match the full game's current state.

With the humongous amount of wonderful games available on Steam, I am already really grateful someone trusted this little game of mine enough to spend some money on it. However, if you bought and played the game, it would be wonderful if you could spare a minute to leave a review in the comments section... positive or negative, it doesn't matter! Right now, the game is quite buried in the algorithm depths, so some more positive reviews would help other people find out about it... on the other side, some criticism would help ME understand where I could do a better job in the future! Today, we wanted to share the content and features still to come for Serum since we know that timely updates, fixes, and implementing community feedback are important to you, the player.
By far, the biggest decision has been to give co-op more time in development and integrate this later than planned within the early access window. While this may be disappointing to many of you, we feel it’s very important we can deliver updates and game content that live up to players' expectations because sacrificing the quality of the game is something we very much want to avoid.
The Serum roadmap below highlights the continued work going into Serum in the weeks and months ahead, leading up to the Version 1.0 release.
Quality of Life Fixes
First and foremost, our focus is to implement a range of quality-of-life improvements for players as one of our first tasks on Serum. This includes bug fixes and additional languages and translations, and we’ll continually look at player feedback to implement these so that the player experience in Serum is optimised.
As our early access journey gets underway next on our list will be achievements as we know that rewarding player interactions and milestones is important. We’ll also be looking to implement a UI revamp to ensure that it’s consistently intuitive for players as they brew, craft and upgrade in the game.
Further down the road, the roadmap also plans on introducing new combat options with combat traps allowing players to expand their arsenal of weapons with passive capability to trap adversaries in the game world.
New Biome
Canyon will be the third biome for players to explore in addition to ground zero (the node), the forest area and the swamp maps that are currently available. Canyon will introduce some new challenging adversaries and a new level boss creature to defeat as part of the game's narrative. This is a dry, arid location that will challenge the player with additional side quests to seek out survivors and reveal much more about the mutagen storyline.
Co-op mode
Co-op mode for up to 4 players gives survivors an opportunity to tackle Serum’s infected denizens as a team with friends. Player resources will be shared, and by working together, players can create their own strategies to maximize their effectiveness in the Serum world.
Of course, early access will see our ongoing work to balance the game, add new features, tweak existing ones, and optimize the overall game. Community feedback is still important, so do talk to us via Discord. We are listening.
