Did your savegame break? That's expected in development. But fear not--you can go to Properties -> Betas and install the legacy version, which will always be the previous update!
Beta v8 Features: - Redid all achievement icons to have a cohesive art style. - New "Number of Passengers Waiting" mapmode that colors routes based off of how many passengers are waiting at both ends. - Can now load savefiles in multiplayer. - Significant late-game performance optimizations Changes: - Added some more bird names. - Can now control movement and zoom speed. Thanks avalanche! - Increased the role that distance+nationality plays on passenger spawning. For example, passengers from the EU will now mostly travel within the EU, rather than a large portion of them wanting to go to the Congo. - Increased the base passenger spawn rate by 37.5%. This should boost starts in poorer regions of the world and lead to a more balanced early-game. Thanks avalanche and Bearwolf! - Returning to Main Menu will now prompt you to confirm if you have not saved the game. Thanks Bearwolf! - Reduced bandwidth usage by 14% - Reputation now affects the type of events you get. Positive reputation will make positive events more likely, while negative reputation will increase the frequency of negative events. - Airport icons on map now display region and country. - Unlock City Popup now displays country. - Inflation is slightly reduced across the board, but especially for High inflation rate. - Game will now start paused when loading multiplayer games. - A lot of refactoring happened behind the scenes. This helps make sure that the game is in a good place for future features and additions. - Nerfed the range of the Sawtelle Micro. - Rebalanced Unlock City and Well-served Routes quarter goals. - Faraway cities now unlock more often. - Made Expand to Region Quarter Goal more common. Bugfixes: - Portugal is now in Southern Europe, rather than Western Europe. - Fixed a bug where unlocked airports would carry over between games. - Fixed a bug where windows would open in weird places if you changed the UI scale mid-game. - Fixed a bug where you cannot play Singleplayer after playing Multiplayer, or vice versa, without restarting the game. - Fixed being able to click on Perk Badges to upgrade perks even when perks were already at maximum level or when you did not have any Puffin Tokens. - Fixed issue where Airplane Marketplace would sometimes not open. Thanks avalanche! - Fixed bug where the number of cities you have already unlocked in a region would not be taken into account when deciding which region to target for a Expand to Region quarter goal. - Will no longer develop airports in cities literally right next to your existing cities (min. dist is now 175km) - The amount of money you get on new quarters is now adjusted for inflation.
Below are issues that have been identified after the May 23rd Scheduled Update.

1. An issue where choosing the ‘Retry Stage’ option in the Refraction Railway caused the E.G.O resource upon entry and E.G.O resource upon ‘Retry Stage’ to be added together (Please refer to [Notice: Refraction Railway Line 3 Error & Temporary Closure] announcement for more information)
2. An issue where entering an Encounter with -45 SP does not cause the character to Panic or Corrode
3. An issue where an incorrect text was displayed in the popup for the ‘Clear all Caches’ in the Login Scene
4. An issue where E.G.O equipped by a Support Unit are all displayed at Threadspinning Tier 1
5. An issue where returning to Identity Details after viewing the E.G.O Passive causes the E.G.O CG to linger
The above issues will be addressed with a future Scheduled Update. We will inform you via a Scheduled Update Notice as soon as these issues are corrected.
One of my goals from the start was to bring a meditation game to Mobile, and I'm really excited to let you all know that the crowdfunding campaign to bring my game PLAYNE to Mobile will launch on Kickstarter next week, 28th of May
For context : PLAYNE was my first ever game that I created to find out if video games can help us build a daily habit of meditation (Looks like it can :). I then developed Inward, a free game to make meditation accessible to everyone (regardless of income-bracket).
So for PLAYNE Mobile, there will be Kickstarter only benefits and limited early bird discounts, so make sure you follow the campaign to know when it goes live, so you can take advantage of the limited early bird benefits.
