After a localization QA it turned out some glyphs were missing for several languages such as Chinese (simplified + traditional), Korean and Japanese.
This was due to a recent retranslation of the game in these languages and not updating the fonts.
My apologies!

However, this should all be fixed now.

Nomori: Prologue - Joeriri
Last week we unveiled the official Steam page for Nomori. Right now, you can play the updated Pre-Alpha of Nomori, available on the Prologue page!

Even though the game is still under development, we want to share the work we put in the game for the last year and a half since releasing the tech-demo. We think the game is now at a state where it’s fun to play. We would love to see as many people play it as possible, so we can make the game even better!

The new version, Pre-Alpha 0.9, includes 18 new levels that teach Nomori’s mechanics and challenge your understanding of Nomori’s reality. Furthermore, there are a bunch of new features, like time paths that move through portals, Kodama rescuing, checkpoints and a little taste of the game’s narrative via character conversations! Unfortunately, the update breaks the localization that was included in the previous version. In the coming period, we will work to re-add languages to the game and patch any major issues that come to light.

Keep in mind that your experience of the Pre-Alpha may not be perfectly smooth. Pre-Alpha means that the game is not even feature-complete yet, and even now we’re developing systems and features for the final game. Still, we hope that you enjoy what Nomori has to offer so far!

It's a different take on the gameplay of the original game, and a free playable version will be available very very soon!

Changes to the new "Existential Crisis" endgame activity
Thank you for your feedback so far on this new 7.00 late-game feature, based on which we've made several changes to it. The feature was always intended to be optional, but now the "Existential Crisis" will be very much opt-in rather than opt-out. To make this happen, we're introducing a new research step that will be required in order for the Crisis to occur, meaning that by simply not researching that item you can very easily avoid it. A warning message in the game will make sure that you are aware of the potential implications of this research.

We've also updated our existing FAQ entry on the "Existential Crisis" with information corresponding to the changes that have been made:

❓ How do I start the new "Existential Crisis" endgame content?
The crisis will be become available upon reaching around half a billion in assets, most of which should be military. This is based on construction cost, i.e. not the monetary value you see in the Empire Menu. As you approach having a big enough empire, Boso Ta will contact you about a new research opportunity making use of your vast fleet. All you then need to do is complete this research and continue preparing your empire for whatever comes next. Boso Ta will later inform you of, and guide you through, the crisis.

I’m happy to announce that the demo for Dead Season will be released next week on Thursday, May 30th!

Thank you so much for the support so far! It means a lot to see your enthusiasm for Dead Season. I’ve poured my heart and soul into this game, and I can't wait for you to get your hands on it.

In this demo, you'll get a sneak peek into the dark world of Dead Season. You’ll start with a tutorial level to get the hang of the game mechanics and then dive into two additional levels that introduce you to the gameplay and set the stage for the challenges ahead. You’ll encounter different types of zombies, and you’ll need to carefully manage your actions and make every decision count, as noise attracts trouble.





The demo will be available from May 30th to June 17th, giving you plenty of time to explore, strategize, and survive through narrow escapes and close calls. Whether you’re new to turn-based tactics games or a seasoned veteran, there’s something here to challenge and excite you.
